The Misfortune Adventure Of Dimensional Chat Group Owner

A week after the test of Yuu’s magic power, today is finally the day of the main event when Itachi faces his brother. At the same time, according to Obito, Jiraiya also lurks in Amegakure so Kaito decides to bring Saitama to meet him there.

Although Konoha still hasn’t replied to their invitation to cooperate with their village, Kaito still decides to save Jiraiya simply by doing so he could earn the favor of the protagonist himself, Naruto.

To be fair it doesn’t matter whether Konoha wants to join or not with the ’alliance. If they can’t be an alliance, Konoha would be destined to become their enemies since Itachi and Sasuke certainly going to murder Danzo later on-- and Kaito is certainly willing to help them.

While becoming an enemy of the protagonist camp is certainly not a good idea, the chat group doesn’t feel concerned with it either. Without penalty from task, everyone basically can do whatever they want. Also, with Saitama, Yuu, and Sakuya on their back, no one can be their enemies in this world.

...

”Amegakure, honestly this place is depressing.”

”Umm.”

At the moment, Both Kaito and Saitama sitting inside a bar in Amegakure calmly while also waiting for Jiraiya to arrive. Despite being a highly industrialized village, in Kaito’s opinion constant rain makes the impression of this place quite calm and depressing.

...

”Customer, do you need another drink?”

The bartender asked kindly, but Kaito could tell this bartender was observing him-- perhaps reporting their information to their angel-- or Konan secretly behind their back.

Not that it all matters for them, since Kaito believes their presence wouldn’t change anything to the plot. Plot correction power is there, and unless the chat group does something, Jiraiya is probably bound to die in Pain’s hands today.

...

”Yes, please.” Kaito nodded and then turned to his ’partner’, How about you, Saitama-sensei?”

”Sure. But you pay it.”

”Don’t worry about that.”

Kaito just shrugged and said, ”Thanks to our successful alliance with Kumo, we have a lot of money right now.”

Since last week, Kumogakure has ordered many products from their village-- making them a lot of Ryo (money in this world). At first, their orders were only small, but when the Daimyo of the land of thunder heard the news about their village, he also ordered-- making more orders for them.

The latest news he heard was that all the Daimyo in this world already knew about their village, and also wanted to trade with them. Soon, their village might become the richest village in the world.

...

Since Jiraiya didn’t come, Kaito, who was bored of waiting for his order, decided to open the group chat to ask about the situation of the other members. Today was an important day, and he wanted to make sure everything went well.

=====

[Owner]: ”Everything is okay, @Uchiha Prodigy? Can you handle your brother today?”

[Uchiha Prodigy]: ”Yes.”

[Sekirei Number 3]: ”Don’t worry, Owner. I believe we can convince my husband little brother.”

[Uchiha Prodigy]: ”Thank you, Kazehana.”

Reading their answer, Kaito chooses to believe them and continues to check on others. Anyway, current Itachi is far stronger than Original, with devil transformation and magic so there’s no way for Sasuke to defeat him.

...

[Owner]: ”Alright then, just ping if anything happens. @Mage of Exodus, how about your side?”

[Mage of Exodus]: ”Everything is good. With the coordinate given by Obito, we managed to find the location of the Akatsuki base where Gedo Mazou is located, Nagato location and now we are just waiting for the right time to barge in.”

[Owner]: ”Just do it when both Itachi and Jiraiya start their respective fight.”

[Mage of Exodus]: ”I plan to do so. Misaka will take care of Kisame, Uta, and Miya-san will take care of Deidara, Sakuya will take care of Zetsu and Nagato will be handled by me and Obito.”

[Railgun Girl]: ”Leave that shark guy to me!”

[Owner]: ”Except Kisame, Nagato, Konan, Orochimaru, and Kabuto, you guys can kill everyone else.”

After a week of discussion, the chat group decided to spare 5 people, 3 Akatsuki members (not counting Obito) and 2 other ninjas.

Kisame was Itachi’s partner, and Itachi himself asked the chat group to release him. Nagato and Konan had similar cases to Obito, their intentions were good-- but the method they chose was wrong.

Kaito was sure that if he was promised to be able to revive Yahiko, they would both be willing to work together to make this world a better place.

As for Orochimaru and Kabuto, the reason was one word-- ”Biotechnology” and they were the talents needed. Besides, this wasn’t the first time the chat group recruited scientists with bad standing-- and for Kaito, as long as they were willing to work together with them, he didn’t care whether they were bad or good.

...

[Railgun Girl]: ”I still don’t like the fact you guys want to spare Orochimaru and Kabuto, but well I understand.”

[Owner]: ”Thanks, Misaka. @Baroque Works Leader, what is your progress?”

[Baroque Works Leader]: ”We haven’t met Kabuto, but we already confirmed Sasuke has killed Orochimaru as we have met his corpse”

[Owner]: ”Of course, duh. He is going to be resurrected later anyway, so don’t worry about him. Just focus on finding Kabuto.”

[Baroque Works Leader]: ”Work on it.”

[Mage of Exodus]: ”What about you, Kaito? I am sure Saitama can handle Pain by himself.”

[Owner]: ”After dealing with Pain, I am gonna visit the moon and free Kaguya from her seal.”

[Queen of Sekirei]: ”Huh?”

[Mage of Exodus]: ”Huh?”

[Owner Favorite Girl]: ”Huh?”

[Necromancer]: ”Huh?”

...

[Musician of Red Hair Pirates]: ”Huh?”

Hearing Kaito’s answer, almost all the members were shocked because they didn’t expect him to do this. Even Saitama next to him looked at him in surprise, confused about what Kaito wanted to plan.

[Scarlet Devil Headmaid]: ”Master, you don’t even plan to let her go?”

[Owner]: ”I just don’t want to leave a hidden danger if I can solve it.”

[Railgun Girl]: ”She is indeed the final boss, but if Zetsu’s plan fails, we don’t need to kill her right?”

[Owner]: ”I won’t kill her. I will beat her, and perhaps make her part of my peerage.”

[God Tongue]: ”...”

[Ohara Survivor]: ”...”

[Necromancer]: ”...”

Once again, Kaito’s answer shocked the chat group members, leaving them speechless.

Kaito believes, that although Kaguya looked very evil in the original, she was just a mother who was blinded by hatred and power. Before she was blinded by her power, Kaguya’s backstory depicted her as a caring figure, who longed for peace and cared about humanity. She changed her nature because she lost faith in humanity due to betrayal and was corrupted by the god tree chakra.

So if there was a way to cleanse the negative effects of her powers and restore her faith in humanity, Kaito was sure Kaguya would be willing to work with the chat group to make this world a better and safer place... especially when you realize Otsutsuki going to be here in the future.

It would be best if she wanted to join his peerage though.

...

[Mage of Exodus]: ”...So, you are looking at hag now?”

[Owner]: ”Aika... Yuu and Sakuya are also very old, age doesn’t matter in my peerage.”

[Necromancer]: ”Kaito, talking about a woman’s age is rude. Do you want me to punish you that much?”

[Owner]: ”...I am sorry, but you guys should get my point. Anyway, business comes so goodbye everyone!”

Realizing that Kaito had accidentally offended one of the strongest members of the chat group, he decided to quickly close the chat group. Luckily, Jiraiya came into the bar at the same time, so he had a convenient excuse to escape.

[Scarlet Devil Headmaid]: ”He isn’t lying. I guess master got some great luck recently?”

[Mage of Exodus]: ”Indeed. Although according to him, this situation would like a prelude to more unfortunate situation.”

[Queen of Sekirei]: ”Press F to pay respect.”

[Necromancer]: ”F”

[God Tongue]: ”F”

[Railgun Girl]: ”F”

...

=====

”Kaito, he is here.”

Realizing Saitama shook his shoulder, Kaito quickly closed the chat group and then looked toward the door-- where a guy wearing a black robe entered the bar.

Although Kaito wasn’t sure why Jiraiya disguised differently than the original, he still quickly waved his hand at him, which made Jiraiya notice Kaito’s appearance and shocked why there were here.

”Kid... and you are, Saitama? Why are you here?”

”The same as you do, gathering information and spying.”

”You kid...”

Looking at Kaito and Saitama who didn’t bother to hide his appearance, Jiraiya couldn’t help but want to complain about what kind of spy he was. However, Jiraiya had heard that Kaito also mastered the Hiraishin even more proficiently than his father from Tsunade-- so, Jiraiya assumed the reason why he did this was because Kaito was confident not being caught by anyone in this village.

As for Saitama information, Jiraiya also know this is the one who destroyed one of Konoha training ground back then while also beating Might Guy so Jiraiya also know he should be confident with his strength too.

...

Realizing there’s no need to get tense here, after ordering a drink for the bartender, Jiraiya sits beside Kaito and starts a conversation, ”You are... you look like him, unlike your brother.”

Kaito, who plans to use his misunderstood ’identity’ of this world, just nodded and exclaimed, ”Naruto?”

”What is your impression of that kid?”

”He is a good brother.”

”Of course, I am proud of that kid.”

”Then, should I call you a godfather now? Jiraiya-san?”

”Hah! I like your attitude kid!” Hearing Kaito answer, Jiraiya chuckles a little bit and then continue asked, ”How old are you?”

”I should be 18 years old already.”

”Eh?”

”Yeah, I can confirm that.”

”Even though you look like the same as Naruto age?!” Jiraiya looked at him with confusion.

”That’s true though. Don’t look at people by their appearance only, godfather.”

Although his body looks like a 15-year-old kid, he was trapped in the SAO world for 2.5 years and it has been half a month since the SAO task was done. So, Kaito being 18 years old is saying the truth.

Jiraiya still not looking convinced, decides to trust him since he can tell from his expression that Kaito wasn’t lying.

”Anyway, is there any present for me?” Kaito inquired.

”Present?” Jiraiya raised his eyebrow, and then pull out a few book with orange cover out of his pocket, which Kaito quickly accepted with gratitude.

”Then, take this a set of Icha Icha series.”

””We took it!!””

Glazing upon the set of famous 18+ book series from this world, both Kaito and Saitama can’t help but become excited. Fortunately, no other members came with Kaito, and Saitama himself also agreed to keep this a secret from the other members for now.

After that, Kaito, Saitama and Jiraiya chatted happily with each other on the bar while Kaito explained what happened in Amegakure-- so Jiraiya doesn’t need to continue his infiltration anymore and thus avoiding his deadly fate.

Unfortunately, all of their conversation was in fact overheard by Konan and Nagato, and as soon as they left the bar, they were immediately ambushed by Konan who is floating a few meters above the ground alongside with 6 path of Nagato pain not far behind her.
