The Misfortune Adventure Of Dimensional Chat Group Owner

”Uh... master. Can you get up? I don’t think it’s good for you to lay on the floor like this?”

”...”

Seeing Rin still lying with lifeless eyes, although at the beginning it was funny, Kaito decided to try to cheer her up since she would be key to completing his task in this world.

”Master, I understand your concern, but judging a book from its cover is not wise. Although I might not look strong, I am powerful you know?”

Hearing Kaito say, Rin sharpened her eyes and judged, ”Really?”

”Yeah. Just take a look at my panel status and you will understand.”

Kaito answered with confidence.

When he was summoned to this world, he received information about the Holy Grail War, and that included his status in this world along with all the rating of abilities he had mastered.

Although he wasn’t sure whether his panel should show all of his ability in the original or must be the work of the chat group, Kaito thankful for it because showing those would convince Rin more about his capability.

Not only that, he has a very good strategic ability for his noble phantasm. Although people would think it would be useless, Kaito knew he could use that to save members from danger or call reinforcement for himself immediately.

Needless to say, Kaito thinks his situation so far is quite lucky... although he would drastically changed his opinion minutes later.

...

”Is that so?”

Rin, who seemed convinced by his words, stood up and then took a peek at Kaito’s panel, only for her to be surprised a second later, ”What are these parameters and skills?! Isn’t this a bit ridiculous?!”

”You can move through space, create materials, perverted defensive ability, multiply yourself, and even summon?!” Rin took a look carefully at Kaito and asked, ”Are you a hero from the future? A devil from the future?”

Having a multitude of abilities, some of which are related to modern knowledge (teleportation), Rin concludes that the heroes she summoned are from the future.

However, she noticed one of his abilities his father’s servant ability... which made her think of an idea. Naturally, when she was a kid, she met Gilgamesh and also saw the famous Gate of Babylon owned by him.

...

”By the way, why do you have Gilgamesh’s noble phantasm?! Are you perhaps... Gilgamesh bastard son?!”

”Bruh...”

Hearing the accusation given by Rin, Kaito reflexively facepalmed his head. In the Naruto world, he was already thought to be the bastard son of the 4th Hokage, and it seemed that in this world Kaito would be accused of being a descendant of Gilgamesh because of his abilities and blonde hair.

Kaito did not expect his blonde hair to give him problems when traveling to another world, making him think about changing his hairstyle later.

...

”Answer me, Kaito! Are you a hero from the future, or are you a descendant of the hero king, Gilgamesh?”

”The answer is no to both of them, master.” Kaito rolled his eyes and corrected her patiently, ”I am sorry, but I came from another world.”

”Another world? Parallel world?”

”No.” Kaito shook his head and then explained, ”I came from a different universe. A not parallel world like the second magic user has.”

”I see. No wonder I have never heard you, or why your name is so generic. Like, Kaito a one of the generic names for teenagers in Japan.”

”...I am not sure whether I should be angry because you mocked me... but whatever master.”

Seeing how messy her servant’s abilities are, Kaito’s identity as a hero from another world is still acceptable to Rin. More importantly, after seeing how many abilities he has, Rin who was initially not confident became convinced that she had a chance to win this holy grail war!

”Although your parameter is just average, the amount of ability you own is quite scary! Now, I wonder if you are getting into the wrong class.”

”Well, I can still act as an archer if you want to, master,” Kaito responded while wryly smiling.

Although Kaito cannot shoot projectiles or elements, Using the Gate of Babylon, Kaito can shoot all the unique weapons he has created as Gilgamesh did.

”Well, I don’t care about that. But now,  thanks to you! I have the confidence to win this war, Kaito!”

Rin felt that summoning Kaito was the luckiest thing that ever happened to her and she believed 100% she had a chance in this year’s holy grail war!

”Yeah. Just leave it to me.” Kaito commented with a reassuring tone, ignoring Rin calling his name immediately.

Although Gilgamesh might be the biggest problem in this holy grail, with all the items he prepared and the chat group point, Kaito was confident that he could win this holy grail war easily too!

With that in mind, Kaito then remembered his promise to broadcast in the chat group when he arrived in this world.

However, when Kaito tried to open the chat group interface, his face was immediately stunned and then quickly changed tohorrified.

====

[Access Denied.]

[All chat group functions cease to exist until you complete the personal task]

====

’Fuck...’

Seeing this short yet deadly notification, Kaito realized why this task was marked very hard...

Because he couldn’t use the chat group function to help him at all on this task... he couldn’t use rent abilities, access the store, chat in chat groups, or even carry out daily missions.

And not only that, the more Kaito tried to use other functions, the more he realized how dangerous the task he was doing this time was.

Because he also couldn’t access the inventory... where 2/3 of the props items he had prepared were in it!

Not only that, Kaito also realized that the Noble Phantasm ability he got from the system was useless! Because to summon members from another world, they also have to go through the system!

Most of his trump cards become useless and even most of his creations can’t be accessed either! The only good thing is that Est isn’t inventory since Kaito wants to mimic Gilgamesh putting EA, the most powerful weapon in his arsenal inside the Gate of Babylon.

Also, Kaito realized that he was getting the opposite treatment from what happened in the SAO.

In the Sword Art Online world, their ability can’t be used, but the chat group is still working properly to help them. Now, in this moon world, Kaito can use all of his abilities, but the chat group can’t be used at all!

If he wants to choose between these options, he would rather have a chat group accompany him. After all, all of his tasks have been smooth so far, thanks to the chat group point system’s help in critical situations.

For example, when Kaito faced Miya back then, he used chat group points to help him fool Miya... or when he faced Cao Cao in high school DxD, he was only able to get away because he bought a teleport ability to escape at the time.

’Forget about very hard difficulty tasks... Is this a hell of a difficult task?!’ Kaito cursed in his mind.

Now, he is genuinely scared about what the system wants him to do in the optional task. Although an optional task can be skipped, with expectation from all chat group members, Kaito needs to complete it.

After all, it’s a matter of his position as the leader.

...

”What’s wrong?” Rin who looked at Kaito frowning on his own asked, ”Is there anything in your mind, Kaito?”

”...Nevermind. I think this holy grail war wouldn’t be easy at all.”

”I never said it would be easy though???”

Realizing he should acting weird in front of Rin, Kaito decides to take a peek at the task panel later. Who knows, if he would react strongly after seeing it, and make himself look like a fool in front of Rin.

”Anyway, Kaito. One of your abilities is... creation, right?” Rin curiously asked.

”Yeah.”

”Then, Can you create gold, jewel, or magic jewel?”

”That would be very easy for me to do. My creation is only limited to my energy and process thought.” Kaito answered confidently.

In Naruto’s world, he was used to making various types of gem materials and precious metals, thanks to Aika who made him work very hard every day. Compared to making weapons with special attributes, making jewels was something he could do without special concentration.

”Is it temporary or permanent?”

”Well... it’s permanent... wait-- don’t tell me, master!”

”I changed my mind about you!” Hearing his answer halfway, Rin looked at Kaito excitedly, with a literal star in her eyes, ”Kaito! You are the perfect servant for me!”

”Ah... God damn it. Just my luck, huh?”

Seeing Rin’s eyes filled with greed and remembering Rin’s money-strapped situation, Kaito who isn’t stupid knew what his master wanted to do. He thought, that if he ran away to another world doing personal tasks, he wouldn’t be enslaved by Aika to work making items with his creation cheat ability-- but unfortunately, his bad luck struck again and let him connected to someone who probably would overwork him more than Rin.

After that, Kaito was then ordered by Rin to make a lot of precious metals late at night, and this would become routine until the holy grail war was over.

In Rin’s eyes, summoning Kaito was one of the luckiest things she had ever experienced, but for Kaito himself, his current situation was one of the situations where he had the worst luck ever.
