The Misfortune Adventure Of Dimensional Chat Group Owner

After going back to the village, Kaito immediately drags Obito into his room and ties him to a chair with a rope as if he has been kidnapped (he does). Kaito also throws his ’mask’ out, since he doesn’t feel like talking with him while still wearing a mask.

On top of that, both the chair and rope have indestructible properties so Obito can’t just rip it off to escape while the room itself has been sealed to make sure Obito can’t escape.

Before deciding to wake up Obito, Kaito who already had a concise plan in his mind used this time to ask the system for confirmation.

’System, If I want to revive someone in this world. How much point it would cost me?’

Since the system already explained how broken and universal the point is, Kaito believes there’s no problem for them to revive someone from death... when countless methods of reviving someone exist in different worlds. Sure enough, the system didn’t disappoint him as the answer almost came out instantly.

*DING*

=====

[To answer the host question, it depends on how strong the person you want to revive, how long he has been dead, and how the death and life law work in the subjective world]

=====

’I want to revive a person in this world who has died a long time ago, Nohara Rin. Can it be done?’

*DING*

=====

[Yes, but it would cost a lot of points at disposal depending on strength.]

=====

Since he plans to make Obito his subordinate, Kaito who knows Obito’s obsession naturally wants to prepare the bargain chip that he can’t refuse.

Not to mention he also fancied his Kamui ability, which would be a great addition to his peerage members.

Kaito also quite pitied Obito’s experience who has been wronged, and is willing to give a chance as long he wants to change for the better.

As for his past sins? Kaito doesn’t care. Anyway, not everyone in the chat group is a good person either, like Crocodile and Kayaba.

’How much point it would cost?’

=====

[To revive Nohara Rin with 3* strength evaluation at full health condition including the world law condition, it would cost you 1.050.000 points. With your privilege, the cost has been cut in half which means you need 525.000 to revive character Nohara Rin.]

=====

’Is there any way to cut the cost down?’

=====

[No.]

=====

”Sigh... I guess I will make him work a lot to pay his debt later.”

Seeing the costs involved, Kaito felt reluctant because it would reduce his points so much and he knew how important points were in emergencies.

=====

[Point Amount: 643.800]

======

Even so, Kaito was willing to revive Nohara Rin, if Obito did agree to work under him.

Anyway, with his privileges and daily tasks, Kaito only needs a few months to get his points back even without doing anything.

With his ’owner privilege’, he could earn 5000-9000 points per day without doing anything, depending on whether the group members doing the daily task or not.

After preparing himself, Kaito who can’t wait for too long decides to wake up Obito with the help of the system.

The moment he did, Obito immediately immediately became conscious, as he tried to open his eyes.

”Ah, you finally wake up, Akatsuki member, Uchiha Obito.” Kaito greeted him with a smile, trying to give a good impression ”Good evening, by the way.”

”You... The leader of the new village, son of yellow flash!”

Hearing what he said, Kaito who starts in a good mood can’t help but complain again, ”C’mon... You know there is no way your sensei has another son!”

While Kaito complained about his reaction, Obito immediately tried to activate his Kamui but unsurprisingly he couldn’t even activate his Sharingan or control his chakra at all.

”Where is this? Why I can’t use any chakra here?!”

Guessing his action, Kaito quickly retorted, ”I have put anti supernatural barrier on this area, so anyone in this area can’t control any chakra including opening Sharingan too.”

”Of course, it wouldn’t affect me. After all, I am the one who set this barrier.”

Hearing Kaito’s explanation, Obito was quite impressed while also terrified, since as Kaito just said, he really couldn’t muster any chakra no matter how hard he tried. He also can’t rip the rope that tied him to the chair too, making him realize Kaito probably already anticipated his attempt to escape.

”...As expected of sensei son. Your mastery of sealing jutsu can’t be underestimated.”

”Are you trying to piss me off?!”

Hearing his comment, Kaito rolled his eyes and then pulled a chair to sit closely in front of him.

”Whatever...”

”Anyway, Let’s make a deal, Uchiha Obito.”

”Deal?” Obito raised his eyebrow in confusion, ”What kind of deal?”

Obito was expecting himself to be tortured and asked about Akatsuki, but making a deal is not something he expect at all.

”I know what is your obsession and I can fulfill your wish as long you agree to work for me.”

”Work for me? Fulfill my wish?”

”Yeah.” Kaito nodded and then explained, ”In a short story, sell your soul to me and I will revive Nohara Rin for you.”

”What did you say?!”

”By the way, it’s not an Edo Tensei but a real resurrection.”

”How do you know her?! Who are you?!”

Hearing Kaito just say to him, to say Obito was shocked is an understatement. Not to mention his actual name, Kaito seems to even know his hidden ambition and his history.

On the other hand, looking at panicked Obito, Kaito just shrugged, already expecting his reaction, and continued to negotiate with him.

...

”It’s a long story to say what I am, but I am just a guy who likes the save others from tragedy.”

”... Tragedy?”

”Well, isn’t your life kinda tragedy? Anyway, I will also send you the memories about the original trajectory in this world which would reveal the truth of Nohara Rin’s death, alongside the truth of the Infinite Tsukuyomi plan you have with Madara.”

”Ah, I will also include a short explanation about my identity and my friend too so you can understand where I came from.”

”???”

Once again, Obito was surprised at what Kaito said... but before he was able to react, a huge amount of memory suddenly invaded his brain which forced him to stop thinking for a short time.

”What... is this... memory...?”

Right now, with the help of the chat group system, Kaito can send all related memories about Naruto World to Obito even though he is not a chat group member, with a cost of 2500 points.

Although it was expensive, anyway there was no way Kaito wanted to spend an entire night explaining everything to him, and the transfer method would convince more that he is not lying regarding his identity.

>>>>>

After waiting a few minutes, Obito, who had finished digesting the memory he just got, opened his eyes and looked at Kaito in a daze. In his eyes, it was clear that sadness, anger, and annoyance were mixed, but what was certain was that Obito also looked lost about what he should do.

”Kaito...”

”I assume you have done sort that memory since you know my name and there is not much hostility anymore.”

*Sip*

”What do you think about what have you done to this world?” Kaito asked him calmly while drinking a coffee, which was created using his creation ability.

”...Is it the real truth? All those memories including the future?” Obito muttered weakly. Obviously, after knowing the truth, Obito quite feels depressed since everything he has done is basically against Rin’s wishes for him.

”I don’t need to lie to you. You can decide whether all that information was a lie.”

”Infinite Tsukuyomi plan, Rin sacrifice, Madara ambition, so it was all conspiracy from Black Zetsu?”

”Yeah, what a shocker, right?”

Mobu commented, amused by his reaction, ”Honestly, it’s quite impressive that Zetsu managed to fool you and Madara without none of you being suspicious about his plan.”

”...I am going to kill him! And then kill Madara too! After that, then I will kill myself!”

Hearing Kaito’s confirmation, Obito felt very annoyed with Zetsu-- especially when remembering everything he had done.

*Sip*

”Hey... Calm down, Obito. I know you are very angry right now, but what can you do? Are you trying to catch a man who can hide himself on any surface?”

”Even Madara himself is currently dead, and you can’t kill someone already dead.”

”Instead of thinking about revenge, how about you think about the offer I made to you?”

Hearing Kaito’s question, Obito’s eyes suddenly lit up, and firmly answered, ”Then!! As long you resurrect Rin for real, I want to be your subordinate and follow all your orders.”

...!!!

”That’s quite fast.”

Didn’t expect Obito to change his mind fast, Kaito quickly put his coffee down and commented, ”You are surprisingly easy to handle, Obito.”

”...After knowing the truth, I don’t feel like working as a Zetsu puppet anymore.”

Obito answered firmly and stared into Kaito’s eyes with determination and a glimmer of hope, ”Besides, your origin alone coming from another world made me believe that you are truly able to revive Rin.”

Hearing his answer, Kaito quickly understood his reasoning and nodded in agreement. Apart from the original Naruto plot, Kaito also sends information about the identities of chat group members who mostly come from outside the world, with the mission of making peace and connecting this world with their world.

Regarding the existence of the chat group itself, Kaito hasn’t informed him yet, since he doesn’t trust Obito until it was proved he could trust him.

”Of course, as long as you agree, I will bring Nohara Rin back to life.”

*Slash*

Realizing the plan going so well, Kaito quickly freed Obito by cutting the ropes that tied his hands and feet. After that, he took out the contract magic paper that he had prepared for this moment so that neither party felt disadvantaged and trusted each other with their agreement.

”Well... If you agree, first, sign this contract. I don’t want to get scammed after all.”

Kaito then offered him the contract paper (made with points and can be understood in all languages) which Obito quickly accepted.

”Devil contract? Joining your peerage for Rin’s resurrection? What does this mean?”

Reading the contract Kaito gave, Obito can’t help but become confused. Even though Kaito had introduced all the chat group members’ identities through memory transfer, in it he did not explain his identity as a devil and the peerage system.

In this case, Kaito could only blame himself for not anticipating this situation properly.

”Hmm... Where I should start explaining?”

Because he thought consuming points to answer Obito’s questions was too wasteful, Kaito then patiently explained his identity as a devil and how the peerage system worked.

Fortunately, at the end of the explanation Obito still agreed to join his peerage, marking the first step of his plan to change this world successfully.
