Maybe My Soulmate! (GL)

”Sigh.. I don’t have any idea.”

Tianji Yuan said with a frown, looking distressed. She had been developing elixirs for years, yet nothing seemed to work on her. In Cangran, even a young cultivator could manage on his own—how could someone like Lili, who never seems to grow up, be so different?

Su Yubing replied slowly, ”Maybe it’s not the pill’s fault.”

”Hmm?” Tianji Yuan echoed, tilting her head.

After a thoughtful pause, Su Yubing continued, ”She appeared on Yuan Peak hundred years ago, didn’t she? I heard that the whiteswan also vanished around that time.”

Tianji Yuan’s eyes widened instantly, and she sprang to her feet. ”If Xiao Hua in whiteswan… then things will be dire!” she exclaimed. ”Demon world holds dear those demons who are clever enough to transform. The demon lord even started the ’Battle of wuhuan’ for the weaker demons. Although that war ended a century ago, the clans in the human world still dare not openly raise demons.”

Anxiously, Tianji Yuan asked, ”Senior Sister Su, where did you get this news?”

Su Yubing replied calmly, ”Mo Yuxin told me.” Then, softening her tone, she added, ”Junior Sister Tian, don’t worry. Even if demon world comes to our door, they will only settle matters with that Jiang Sang.”

Hearing her say this, Tianji Yuan was slightly relieved but she then again asked with a hint of worry in her voice,

”But, how is it that the whiteswan as in Xiao Hua was able to stay in Cangran for so many years without getting discovered? After all, the entire cangran is in the hands of master and grandmaster, and with their unfathomable cultivation, wouldn’t it have been possible for them to have discovered it?”

Su Yubing was thoughtful for a moment before she raised her eyes and smiled slightly before saying,

”Junior sister, have you heard about the mythical treasure, ”The myriad due world connector’?”

Tianji Yuan was thoughtful for a moment as she felt that she seems to have read about this treasure somewhere but couldn’t exactly point out what it was.

Just then, a particularly calm and soft voice seemed to come from through the northern wind as the next second, a very beautiful figure, clad in a cyan blue robe appeared beside Tianji Yuan and very familiarly held her hands.

”It’s the mythical treasure belonging to the demon world. The previous demon lord, saintess Freya used this treasure, ’The myriad due world connector’ as the basis and used up her own life force to transfer the demon clan from jizhou to Suzhao which is known as the demon world now. It was before the battle of wuhuan, the first major disaster that befell the world and caused the most vicious bloodbath between humans and demons who used to live in peace and together at some point and suddenly became the most mortal of enemies.”

Tianji Yuan who has already noticed this particular presence of her wife immediately became happy and hearing her long and knowledgeable explanation, she hugged her sideways, her eyes seemed to be overflowing with the sweetness of love as she said,

”My wife is so smart!”

Bai Lingshu who heard her wife’s doting words was obviously a little embarrassed with her red ears as she glared at her and then ignored her while turning her attention to Su Yubing,

”Greetings, Senior sister Su.”

Su Yubing looked at them with a soft smile, quite different from her usual aloof self as she replied,

”Welcome, fifth junior sister.”

At this time, Tianji Yuan who was ignored by her wife immediately looked at the latter with her aggrieved eyes but Bai Lingshu continued ignoring her and said,

”The first disaster, the great war, also known as the battle of Chinmeitan became the dividing point between humans and demons and the world became what it is now. That’s why it’s known to all that the mythical treasure is not just a simple treasure but the axis that balances the world itself. You cannot own this treasure. Only the direct blood of the demon lords of the demon world can use their spiritual power to leave an imprint of their soul on this treasure which allows them to borrow the power of the treasure to use it for their own. But it has severe limitations.”

”And the previous demon lord used the last bit of her life to cast a spell with this treasure that ensured a form of protection to all the true demons in the demon world. That’s why, I think that the whiteswan, being a true demon which can transform itself into her human form naturally received the blessing of the treasure which could mask it’s demon breath and let it live without any problem in the cangran for so many years.”

Hearing her long explanation, Tianji Yuan’s eyes seemed to spill the word admiration as her heart pounded with the desire to kiss her wife but her rational told her hold back as Senior sister Su was still present.

Su Yubing naturally smiled after hearing her thoughtful explanation and said,

”You are right. Though it doesn’t mean that master or grandmaster didn’t know about it.”

Hearing her words, Tianji Yuan and Bai Lingshu both fell silent for a moment before asking at the same time,

”Then.. why?”

Su Yubing smiled slightly before giving a vague answer,

”Some things are predetermined. Fate exits and whiteswan’s fate was already decided as well the role she will play in this complicated and distorted world.”

Both of them were a little confused after hearing Su Yubing’s words but felt that Su Yubing must know something profound that they have no clue about.

A serene silence permeated between the three of them before Tianji Yuan broke it by asking,

”Then, Senior sister, Why is Jiang Sang so concerned with this whiteswan and is the connection between her and the eldest son of Hua has something to with it?”

At this moment, when Su Yubing was about to answer, a clear and particularly heroic voice broke through the air, taking away the attention of Bai Lingshu and Tianji Yuan.

”Let me give you the answer.”

They saw a flying figure coming towards them from the horizon. There were two of them and as they grew closer towards the Yuan peak, Tianji Yuan and Bai Lingshu both finally saw who these two were,

Both of them immediately stood up and greeted with a hint of intimacy and familial feeling,

”Greetings, Elder sister, Welcome Fourth Junior sister/Fourth senior sister.”

As Xu Xian and Bai Xuzhen descended on the Yuan together with their hands clasped, they quickly greeted each other before sitting down beside Su Yubing.

At this time, Bai Xuzhen looked at Xu Xian with a smile and said,

”The direct bloodline of the Hua family all has the privilege to master their secret technique, the one eyed dove. This secret eye technique allows them to look through any hiding techniques and find out whether someone is a demon or not.”

Su Yubing then continued with a cold voice’

”A huge conspiracy is playing in this world. To truly find out what is going on, We would have to first kidnap that eldest son of Hua. He is still in the immortal town down the cangran mountains.”

Tianji Yuan looked at Su Yubing in surprise: ”Isn’t this... not good?”

Su Yubing persuaded: ”What’s wrong with it? He has a grudge against master, and he is also scheming something like this, it’s natural that we take some advanced measures ; As the saying goes, ’When there is trouble, the disciple will do the work’. This can not only avenge the past, but also solve the doubts of this conspiracy.”

Tianji Yuan always felt something was wrong. She shook her head which was full of paste: ”What did Second Senior Sister say?”

Su Yubing lowered her eyes and smiled shyly: ”Mo Yuxin will listen to me.”

Tianji Yuan looked at Su Yubing suspiciously: ”Really?” Not to mention that her Second Senior Sister had lost her memory, even if she remembered the past, she was not the kind of person who indulged her lover and had no principles, right?

Su Yubing nodded seriously, ”Of course it is like that. I broke the precious things in her peak before, but she didn’t do anything to me, right? And now she’s even in seclusion refining equipment for me.” Seeing that Tianji Yuan’s expression relaxed, she said, ”Mo Yuxin respects her teacher and has long wanted to vent her anger for her master. It would be fine if the young master of the Hua family was still in the Hua clan, but he chose to appear in Cangran. Isn’t this a deliberate humiliation of Canran?”

Tianji Yuan: ”Okay, it seems so.”

”That’s it!” Su Yubing slapped the table, ”Whatever Mo Yuxin wants to do, I will do it for her!”

The square wooden table was covered with spider-web-like cracks under Su Yubing’s slap. Tianji Yuan was quick-witted and caught the teapot and cups with a flick of his sleeves, thus saving her possessions. She looked up at Su Yubing, whose face was rosy and eyes were shining, and seemed to want to say something but stopped herself.

”Sorry.” There were gleams in Su Yubing’s eyes. She covered her lips and coughed a few times, ”I was emotional for a moment.”

”It’s okay.” Tianji Yuan looked at Su Yubing and thought to herself, Senior Sister Su is really deeply in love with Second Senior Sister. Look at what she has done for Second Senior Sister. It’s a pity that Second Senior Sister is just a wooden person who doesn’t understand romance. She came to complain to her a while ago. It was difficult to connect those messy things together, and Tianji Yuan only remembered the four words ”deal with the enemy”.

At this point, Xu Xian said,

”Don’t worry, Junior sister Su. Leave this matter to me.”

Su Yubing looked over with a faint smile and said,

”Then, I can only thank you, senior sister.”

At this moment, Mo Yuxin was diligently refining the ”Eight-Turns Divine Pill Auto-Furnace”. The recipe for the elixir in the emerald scroll is extremely detailed and exquisite, and the inlaid formation cannot allow any mistakes. Once one of the formation patterns changes, the pill that comes out may be a poisonous pill. Since it concerns Su Yubing’s life and death, Mo Yuxin has to be extremely cautious. She changed the array patterns and repaired the enchanted implements again and again, making the refined medicine close to perfection, but in the end, there were still some aspects that she was not satisfied with. There is no other reason. What the Eight-Turns Divine Pill produces from the furnace is not pills, but a pool of elixir cakes.

Mo Yuxin cannot present such a ”failure”.

In the Serenity Hall of Shanglong peak

Su Yubing sat cross-legged on the couch, tilting her head to look at the active ”Zenith True Flame”.

”Let’s see how they dance.” Su Yubing gave an order to the Zenith True Flame. Looking at the flame that burned everything twisting strangely, Su Yubing laughed heartily. She took out an emerald bottle from her bosom, poured out a pill and threw it into her mouth. When the pain in her meridians eased a little, she took out a flask of ancient wine like a magic trick.

There were wine stains on her clothes and Su Yubing looked casual.

The drifting blossoms outside the window fell on the couch and clothes. Su Yubing stretched out her pale and thin hands and stepped over the scattered blossoms bit by bit, enjoying it very much.

After a long time, she seemed to remember something, slapped her head and exclaimed, ”Ah! I forgot to give Mo Yuxin the ’Pill Mastery Technique’!”

At this time, Mo Yuxin who was racking her brain thinking that the failures must be because her own comprehension is not enough didn’t know that it was all because her lazy taoist companion forgot something extremely basic about this whole process!
