Maybe My Soulmate! (GL)

”Second senior sister, I get that there may have been some conflict between the two of you but that doesn’t mean that you can just pretend not to know her! That’s too mean! And by the looks of it, it’s definitely you, second senior sister, who has done wrong! Look at senior sister Su, she is I’ll and can’t even walk properly!”

Bai Xuzhen continued to say all these things without caring to look at Mo Yuxin’s cold face and Mo Yuxin couldn’t even interrupt her and only looked at her with her increasingly cold eyes.

But Bai Xuzhen still said,

”Second senior sister, Master and all of us don’t reject your relationship outside. She even gave birth to your own daughter! You should really take a step down and admit your mistakes. You can’t become the same as the rumours, right?”

As Bai Xuzhen said all these, she felt more and more convinced of her own self righteousness and Mo Yuxin felt all the veins in her hands and face bulging from enduring the pure anger. Her entire being exuded a bone chilling coldness and Bai Xuzhen finally noticed Mo Yuxin’s stiff and cold face, she immediately shut up and hung her head down, without any intention of talking anymore.

At this point, Mo Yuxin finally reacted when she felt that she seemed to have heard Bai Xuzhen saying something about her daughter! She immediately couldn’t help but ask,

”What daughter? Whose daughter?”

Mo Yuxin frowned and thought hard and sorted out all the information in her mind but there was no such person in her mind. No Taoist companion nor any daughter!! Where did they come from?

Mo Yuxin felt that she couldn’t bear all these accusations made against her and wanted to just go back into seclusion for a hundred more years and maybe all this would not exist anymore.

Her temples throbbed from confusion and the feeling that she inexplicably had when meeting that strange woman made her feel a extreme sense of lost and longing again and again.

Mo Yuxin could only grip the handle of her sword tightly and exhale and inhale deeply a few times to calm her chaotic mind. She felt that she definitely needed to meet this soo called Taoist companion herself and make a judgement.

At this time, Bai Xuzhen was ignorant about all the twists and turns in her sister’s mind and suddenly heard Mo Yuxin asking,

”When did she come? What did master say? Have you checked the origins about this so called daughter of mine?”

Bai Xuzhen immediately answered,

”Almost two months ago. She brought a little girl of about 9 to 10 years old, claiming to be a casual cultivator who had the passed through the wuhuan battle pass and crossed thousands of mountains and finally came towards our Cangran Mountains with her extremely frail and sickly body. Master and senior sister recieved her themselves and even they said that the little girl looks exactly like you when you were a child, second Senior sister! When I saw that cute little girl, I almost couldn’t believe how similar she looked to you! Master even used the highest level bloodline divine tool from our treasury and found to all of our surprise that she really is your daughter, second senior sister.”

Mo Yuxin patiently heard all of Bai Xuzhen’s words and immediately denied while shaking her head,

”Impossible! I have been in seclusion for a hundred years! Even if I have a daughter, how can she be only 9 to 10 years old??”

Bai Xuzhen expected Mo Yuxin to ask this question and immediately said,

”Senior sister Su explained this. In the battle with the demon tribe a hundred years ago in the battle of Wuhan, she was severely injured and fell of a cliff. After that, she was trapped inside the secret realm of ’the cave of empriness’ and was trapped there for years. She could only come out after great difficulty and it has only been a little over ten years since she came out. You do know about the mythical ’Cave of Emptiness’ right? Time and space is completely distorted there and time is always still, without flowing which makes her body also stop growing. That’s why, after she came out of the cave of emptiness with severe injuries, the time of her body also started flowing and she could finally give birth to your child.”

After saying this, Bai Xuzhen looked at her second senior sister with a disappointed gaze as if she really was looking at a scumbag who could abandone her own wife and daughter!

Mo Yuxin felt as if her head was splitting open. She couldn’t make sense of anything! Her daughter was actually her own bloodline! That means that woman is not lying? Or maybe she has a magic weapon which can decieve the bloodline magic tool!

Mo Yuxin felt a little dizzy and even thought that maybe she was experiencing a heart demon! Yes... That could be it. Maybe she is still in seclusion and has encountered a difficult heart demons which is showing her this extremely realistic illusion!

Yes. That must be the case! Mo Yuxin felt that she has finally found the clue to her current situation and felt that she needed to quickly get rid of this heart demon and complete her seclusion perfectly.

Bai Xuzhen continued say a lot of things from how the mother and daughter came into the Cangran Mountains to what master said to how they felt. She even adviced Mo Yuxin to not let the past cloud her judgement and admit her mistake and not be scumbag who abandones her wife and daughter.

But Mo Yuxin was completely in a trance as she walked towards the Qingxuan peak where her master was leaning lazily against a mulberry tree with a wine gourd in her hands. She was dressed in a navy blue robe with black patterns all over it.

Mo Yuxin finally sobered up after seeing her master and the faint sense of relief that was brought after thinking that all this was the work of a heart demon was completely broken.

After all, her master is an extremely strong Cultivator. The faint sense of oppression and awe brought by her mere presence cannot be imitate by a mere heart demon, no matter how powerful it is.

Mo Yuxin slowly walked closer towards her master and Tan Qingxuan stuffed the wine gourd behind her and said without even looking up to see who it was that came,

”Out of seclusion?”

After saying this, she looked up towards her reliable disciple with a smile and before Mo Yuxin could feel the joy of seeing her master after hundreds years, her master suddenly waved her hand a long pile of paperwork as high as a whole human suddenly appeared before her and Mo Yuxin heard her master’s slightly relieved voice,

”Hurry up and deal with them. Your master was pestered by those old foggies until I couldn’t even rest properly. Sigh... The elders don’t even give me respect as the sect master and only wants my second disciple....”

Your journey continues on empire

Mo Yuxin felt a few black lines on her face after hearing her master’s carefree words and looked at the pile of documents and couldn’t help but ask,

”Did the affairs of the sect pile up so much in these hundred years.”

The moment Mo Yuxin asked this, Her master immediately waved her hand and another pile as large as the previous one was immediately put beside it and her unreliable master said with a smile,

”There’s a few more but don’t worry, I will deal with those. You just complete these.”

Mo Yuxin felt that’s he shouldn’t have asked this question but could only hold back her anger. After all, she was her master.

At this point, Bai Xuzhen suddenly said,

”Master! Second senior sister doesn’t want to recognise her daughter and wife anymore.”

The moment Mo Yuxin heard her say this, she immediately turned to look at her and was about to when did she say it but thinking that she really didn’t remember her wife and daughter, she could finally keep silent and stare at her master.

Tan Qingxuan made a face of being surprised and looked at Mo Yuxin up and down before saying,

”No, no ,no. My dear reliable disciple. You can’t do this. Even if there is trouble in your relationship, don’t worry, your master is here.”

Mo Yuxin stared at her master with a sceptical eyes and thought that her master herself never had any Taoist companion. How could she boast so confidently?

But Mo Yuxin calmed down this time and looked at her master seriously before saying,

”Master! I have never had a Taoist companion. Why did you let someone like her live in shanglong peak? ”

Tan Qingxuan seemed to be a little surprised after hearing Mo Yuxin’s words and laughed slightly before answering,

”How could you not have a Taoist companion? Isn’t she the one living in your... Ohh.. sorry.... Her shanglong peak?”

Mo Yuxin again felt dumbfounded by her master’s words and anxiously tried to explain,

”Master!!! I really don’t know them.”

Tan Qingxuan finally stopped playing with her adorable disciple after seeing her being anxious and even showing a bit of grievance in her eyes. She sighed slightly and said seriously,

”It’s okay. You may not remember her and that’s normal. After all, in the battle of Wuhuan, you were seriously injured and when I checked you, I found that a your sea of consciousness was damaged to some extent. Your memory loss may be related to that.”
