Maybe My Soulmate! (GL)

”What wife and daughter! Don’t blame me for the work of someone else. How can you be mistaken about my own identity??”

Mo Yuxin felt a headache just by listening to all the absurd rumors about about her being discussed among all the disciples in the hongmen order but thinking that all this is the work of her dear old junior sister gave her her even more of a headache.

At this time, Bai Xuzhen couldn’t help but again defend herself in a low voice,

Find adventures at empire

”I... I had to do this, second sister. After yo went into seclusion, the burden of making money for the entire sect fell onto my poor and delicate little shoulders. Wuwuwuwu.... You also know that our sect has been getting more and more poor in the past hundred years and master was even about to sell her old scriptures for money...”

Bai Xuzhen tried to appear as pitiful as possible and even pretended to cry as she wiped her eyes with a pretentious gesture, thinking that her second sister would be soft hearted after seeing her like this and choose to forgive her this time.

But her wishful thoughts were completely broken when she heard her second sister snort coldly and she could even feel second sister’s increasingly cold eyes and her little head lowered more and more from guilt and fear.

Mo Yuxin just looked at the pretentious girl who was already married with her eldest sister as her Taoist partner but even after hundreds of years, she still seems to have not grown at all.

Mo Yuxin felt quite ridiculous at her words and immediately exposed Bai Xuzhen’s shamelessness without giving her any face,

”Tsk.. what burden? You have already grown up and married but still don’t want to take responsibilities for your own sect? And don’t give me those pathetic excuses. You are making money with such outrageous methods and aren’t you always spending it on eldest sister, you dear Taoist companion?”

Bai Xuzhen immediately felt a little embarrassed after her actions were exposed but she also has thicker skin and immediately smiled like a silly fool and persuaded Mo Yuxin,

”Second sister, you still think it’s a rumor?” After saying this, Bai Xuzhen looked at Mo Yuxin’s cold face with a little helplessness and said,

”You didn’t go back to your Shanglong peak after coming out of your seclusion, have you? I really have to say, second sister but it’s very irresponsible of you.”

Mo Yuxin heard her absurd words and how this shameless junior sister called her irresponsible after making rumors about her and Mo Yuxin felt a little speechless and her anger seemed to almost burst out but she held herself back and looked at Bai Xuzhen with a calm look, waiting to hear what more ridiculous nonsense she will say.

Bai Xuzhen expected to see some reaction after mentioning this but saw that second sister’s face has grown even colder and if looks could kill, Bai Xuzhen felt second sister would have already killed her a thousand times by now. But she still mustered up her courage and said to Mo Yuxin with a determined gaze,

”Second sister! If you don’t believe me, I will go to the shanglong peak with you to let you see that what I said was definitely not just a rumor!”

Bai Xuzhen was still talking loudly with a rightous expression but feeling the current temperature dropping to a freezing point as well as the gradually darknening sky with thunders flashing with murderous intent, Bai Xuzhen’s entire moment was blown into nothing and like a deflated ballon, she immediately came closer towards Mo Yuxin and knelt down in a pretentious manner, grabbed her white robe and started sobbing like hypocrite and said,

”Wuwuwuwu.... Second sister. Don’t be angry please. Let’s just go to your Shanglong peak once and we will know whether I’m really as guilty as you think.”

Mo Yuxin felt speechless by her shamelessness and she could only sigh helplessly as her anger also subsided a lot.

After all, all four of these sisters are her own sisters and Mo Yuxin has always regarded them as her own little sister and always thought of them as family. No matter what they did, as long as it was not something immoral, Mo Yuxin would never truly be angry with them, much less just because of a few rumors.

She suddenly looked down at the crying Bai Xuzhen and gently used her spiritua power to shake her off of her robe and said while turning back and sheathing her sword,

”Fine. Let’s go and see what this is all about.”

Mo Yuxin had no impression of the so called wife and daughter. She has always been clean and pure without any emotional distraction and there was not even a little animal around her, much less a human.

Even after hearing Bai Xuzhen’s words, Mo Yuxin was still thinking that Bai Xuzhen was just mistaken or that she was lying just to make more money and didn’t want to admit it.

But these thoughts completely disappeared when Mo Yuxin stepped into the Shanglong peak. As they came closer towards the formation surrounding the Shanglong peak and Mo Yuxin expected to enter without any problem as before but the moment she was about to pass through the formation, Mo Yuxin found to her surprise that she couldn’t actually control the formation of her own peak!!! The formation didn’t even seem to recognise her as its master and only regarded her as an outsider and simply blocked her from entry!!!

Mo Yuxin was completely dumbfounded and even felt that maybe a hundred years of absence has made the formation not recognise her for a moment but no matter how hard she tried to establish a connection with the formation, she couldn’t!! She looked ahead in disbelief and turned to glare at Bai Xuzhen beside her with her cold eyes causing the latter to immediately shiver in silence.

Bai Xuzhen immediately took a step back and cautiously started explaining her innocence,

”Second senior sister. Please stop glaring at me, you are scaring me! This matter has nothing to do with me. We can all enter the shanglong peak, could it be that your wife is upset that you haven’t visited her first after coming out of your seclusion?”

Mo Yuxin heard her ridiculous words and her coldness increased by a few more points and she said through gritted teeth,

”What nonsense!!”

At this time when Mo Yuxin and Bai Xuzhen were talking back and forth, a slender figure clad in a vermillion robe walked down the mountain path of shanglong peak from inside the formation.

The figure coming towards them seemed to have been ill for a long time. Her originally charming and graceful eyes and eyebrows now looked sick and decadent with a clear hint of sickness between them. Her extreme pale face gave others the feeling of meeting a flower which was about to either in the cold wind of winter, making people feel an instinctive urge to protect her in their palms!

Bai Xuzhen immediately stopped talking to Mo Yuxin and even blatantly ignored her I’m the middle of Mo Yuxin’s words and turned to look at the delicate beauty and spoke in a sweet tone,

”Senior sister Su!”

The sick female beauty didn’t even seem to hold Mo Yuxin in her eyes and completely ignored her existence as she walked towards Bai Xuzhen before nodding at her and just when Bai Xuzhen thought that Senior sister Su would say something, She passed by her like a gust of wind and came closer towards Mo Yuxin within a moment!

She stood right infront of Mo Yuxin with just a little distance between them, and seeing the still stunned Mo Yuxin, she raised her hand and caressed Mo Yuxin’s fair cheeks bringing the latter back from her trance almost immediately! Mo Yuxin immediately reacted and stepped back a back a step and was about to say something when the woman who just touched her again ignored her like a stray dog and passed by them without even looking back!!

Mo Yuxin was again stunned and couldn’t understand anything about the current situation.

Seeing her like this, Bai Xuzhen raised her hand and nudged Mo Yuxin slightly and whispered in a low voice,

”Second senior sister! Why are you so dumbfounded? You haven’t seen each other for a hundred years!! Don’t you have anything to say? Go and coax your wife!”

Mo Yuxin was still stunned by the action of this strange woman and hadn’t yet recovered when she heard Bai Xuzhen’s words and couldn’t help but retort in a low voice,

”... I don’t know her!!” Even though Mo Yuxin felt a weird feeling in her heart the moment she saw the woman but she still didn’t have any impression of her in her memories!! She definitely didn’t know her. How could she have a Taoist companion?

Mo Yuxin thought for a moment and turned to ask Bai Xuzhen,

”Are you sure, you have checked this woman? Didn’t master say anything? How could a liar enter our sect right under our nose?”

Mo Yuxin knew that her sisters were all unreliable and even her master was not as reliable but she didn’t expect that a strange woman would take over her own peak and her own formation would not recognise her! It felt as if she was the outsider and that woman is the true owner!

At this point, Bai Xuzhen was still thinking that her second senior sister was just being stubborn because there may have been some conflict between the two of them and second senior sister with her rigid personality would definitely not be flexible towards her and didn’t want to recognise her!!
