Maybe My Soulmate! (GL)

As the bright red light faded away and the dust settled, Mo Yuxin’s figure suddenly appeared in the field of vision of Su Yubing and the child.

The child kept looking at the oncoming figure with a slight vigilance in her eyes but because her mother already said that whoever came wasn’t any outsider, she was still much relaxed.

Su Yubing didn’t seem to be surprised at all and didn’t even look at Mo Yuxin’s figure but continued to rock back and forth on the rocking chair with a leisurely look on her face.

Mo Yuxin came inside after breaking through the protective formation of her Shanglong peak and immediately sensed the breath of two figures beside the pond.

Mo Yuxin put away her sword in her sheath, combed her slightly messy hair and smoothed her slightly wrinkled sleeves and then she walked towards her so called ’wife and daughter’ with light and steady steps.

Mo Yuxin felt extremely uncomfortable, and a weird feeling continuously surged in her heart making her steps become heavier and heavier as she walked closer towards them.

At this time, she heard a very sweet and innocent yet mature voice coming from the little girl who is supposed to be her daughter, and she said to her mother,

”Who is that? Mother?” As she said that, she came closer towards Su Yubing and stood beside her with a confused look in her mind.

Su Yubing was calm from the beginning to the end with seemingly normal emotional fluctuations in her heart and immediately said with a smile,

”It’s your mother.”

Mo Yuxin could clearly hear their conversation even from her position and she suddenly faltered in her steps when she heard the woman mentioning her as mother to the child.

Her heart was stirred violently by these words, and she couldn’t help thinking whether she really has lost her memories but she immediately suppressed those thoughts and her face returned to its usual coldness as she continued walking towards them and had already walked onto the small bridge leading to the pavilion built in the middle of the pond, where Su Yubing and the child were.

Mo Yuxin quickly walked into the pavilion and walked towards Su Yubing and the child and looked down at the child’s face.

The child was also looking at her curiously with a mixture of emotions.

Her face was extremely cold as she looked towards Mo Yuxin but beneath those pair of cold eyes, a deep sense of longing and yearning for her mother was hidden.

Mo Yuxin felt extremely overwhelmed by the little girl’s feelings and also felt that it was not wonder that her master allowed them to stay in her shanglong peak.

After all, Mo Yuxin herself felt extremely incredible at how similar the child looked to her own younger self!

Mo Yuxin suddenly became a mother but obviously shouldn’t have any feelings for the child and should be extremely cold towards her, but she just couldn’t do it.

Even though she didn’t feel any extreme sense of longing or love when seeing the child who is supposed to be her daughter, but she also didn’t seem to hate her.

In fact, it would be a lie to say that she didn’t like her.

At this time, Mo Yuxin looked at Su Yubing who was rocking back and forth on the mahogany chair with her eyes closed and even when seeing that extremely beautiful and pale face, no memories surfaced in Mo Yuxin’s mind making her feel even more puzzled.

Mo Yuxin tried hard to remember something, but she couldn’t!

She has no impression of this woman in her memories at all!

But Mo Yuxin also couldn’t deny the existence of a very strange and strong feelings in her heart when she saw the woman before her, but Mo Yuxin immediately suppressed those strange feelings to the deepest parts of her heart from the sheer panic.

After all, in her memories, she has never encountered such situations and the woman before her always made her inexplicably nervous and panic as if she held her entire being in the palm of her hand!

At this time, Su Yubing also opened her eyes and looked up towards Mo Yuxin causing Mo Yuxin to feel a little weird.

After all, this ’Taoist Companion’ didn’t seem to have any emotional fluctuations when seeing her own ’wife’? Not even any sense of intense love or deep hatred or anything else could be seen in those calm eyes!

At this time, Su Yubing suddenly spoke with a clear and cold voice which seemed to ring inside of Mo Yuxin’s ears like a melody, almost making her feel dizzy,

”Her name is ’Su Yuxin’s but I like to call her ’Lu Wuqi’. That’s her nick name. You can also call her that.”

As she said that, she stood up from the chair but immediately stumbled to keep her balance and was almost about to fall down when Mo Yuxin extended her arms almost instinctively and immediately held her petite figure in her arms.

Mo Yuxin felt a burning sensation spread throughout every single part of her body when she touched Su Yubing’s soft body, but her thoughts were immediately broken when a violent coughing sound sounded from the woman.

Su Yubing suddenly started coughing and her coughings were so intense that it seemed as if her lungs were about to tear apart!

She covered her lips with one hand and pushed away Mo Yuxin, but a bright streak of blood started flowing down from the corner of her mouth, making Mo Yuxin feel a sudden sense of anxiousness.

Even though, she was pushed away by Su Yubing but she immediately took a step forward and held the frail Su Yubing in her arms.

She injected her spiritual power in her body in an extremely gentle way but the moment her spiritual power flowed inside Su Yubing’s body; Mo Yuxin was extremely surprised to find that all the meridians in Su Yubing’s body were almost on the verge of breaking apart!!

Mo Yuxin felt a mixture of emotions when she saw the state of Su Yubing’s body and she didn’t even dare to think about the fact that Su Yubing truly seemed on the verge of death.

Mo Yuxin felt extremely cold in her heart, and she couldn’t even think further but at this time, she suddenly heard a cautious voice of a little girl beside her,

”Is there still hope?”

The one who asked this was the little girl. Even though her words seemed extremely harsh and cold, but her tone was filled with tears and her clear almond eyes were completely red from holding back her tears.

Su Yubing took a moment to stabilize her body and gently patted her daughter’s head and said weakly,

”Don’t worry. Your mother won’t die so easily.”

There was a wild and wanton smile on Su Yubing’s face which seemed to have a captivating power and Mo Yuxin immediately felt as if her heart strings were getting pulled by a gentle yet overbearing force making her want to indulge in some unspeakable feelings.

But at this time, Su Yubing suddenly fainted after saying these words and Mo Yuxin immediately panicked and quickly carried her to the dharma pavilion on shanglong peak.

The moment Mo Yuxin entered the very familiar dharma pavilion, she was hit with a nostalgic feeling of returning to her abode after a hundred years of seclusion, but she didn’t waste time to enjoy this feeling and immediately carried Su Yubing and placed her on a large and soft cushion made with the fur of a thousand-year-old northern reindeer.

After placing Su Yubing onto the cushion, Mo Yuxin immediately took hold of her wrist and gently spread her gentle spiritual energy through her body, Soothing the chaotic mess of spiritual energy in her broken meridians.

After continuously doing this treatment for two hours, Su Yubing’s face finally regained a bit more clarity and the deathly aura around her also disappeared.

At this point, Mo Yuxin was about to stand up when she again heard the little girl’s soft voice,

”Are you, my mother? Why did you abandon mother for all these years?”

Mo Yuxin heard her words, but she couldn’t say anything. After all, she has been in seclusion for hundreds of years without knowing anything.

But the little girl continued,

”My mother traveled so long, crossing hundreds of mountains and rivers and came into Cangran from the Wuhan battle pass with her sickly body just to give me a place to belong to and not live as an orphan on the streets while begging for food.”

Mo Yuxin heard her words and felt a little cold in her heart, but she still forced a smile and said,

”Indeed. The distance from wuhuan battle pass to Cangran is truly long.”

The little girl heard her mother’s words and continued again,

”You are my mother. I respect you but I don’t like you for abandoning my mother like this.

I hope that you will be a responsible person and cure your Taoist companion and bring her back to health. Only then, I will forgive you for being an irresponsible mother.”

Mo Yuxin was waiting to hear what the little girl would say but hearing her words, Mo Yuxin couldn’t help but be surprised by her filial piety and also at how emotionally mature and smart she was!

And even though she said that she didn’t like Mo Yuxin but Mo Yuxin could already see the deep longing in her pure eyes and no matter how hard the child tried to hide it, how could she hide it from her who has lived for hundreds of years!
