Reincarnation Paradise Park

Chapter 983: Chapter 71: Riot

First layer of the Demon Castle.

Space-time power surged, ripples spread, Su Xiao appeared out of nowhere.

Boom!

A loud noise echoed in his ears, Su Xiao instinctively drew the long knife from his waist, his eyes scanning the surroundings.

Boom, boom, boom...

Loud noises emanated from various places on the first layer, coming from the wooden doors on either side. These wooden doors were being hit by varying degrees of force, and the ones hitting them were the tenants behind the doors, namely Alice’s prisoners.

Su Xiao’s gaze turned to the room where Sha was located, the door in front of that room was being hit the hardest. The door was covered in large light patterns, and as Sha hit the door from behind, the patterns flickered uncertainly.

The first layer of the Demon Castle was in upheaval, for unknown reasons, those tenants had started madly hitting the doors imprisoning them.

In the past, these tenants could open the doors but couldn’t leave the rooms. Now, all the doors were locked, and those tenants seemed mad, hitting the doors non-stop.

”Alice, you too have your day, hahahaha.”

A defiant laugh mixed with the pounding.

”Hope she dies outside the castle.”

”Quick, we have a chance to escape before she returns.”

”Thanks to the wolf steward, the puppet actually retrieved those erased memories. I’d love to see his expression at that moment, and the scene of him stabbing Alice in the back.”

The tenants of the first layer shouted and vented their hatred and anger.

From their dialogue, Su Xiao gathered several pieces of information.

1. Something might have happened to Alice, and she wasn’t in the Demon Castle.

2. The wolf steward betrayed Alice for unknown reasons and stabbed her in the back.

3. The Demon Castle’s first to fourth layers were now sealed.

From these scraps, Su Xiao deduced one main point: the Demon Castle was now very dangerous.

Loud bangs echoed, and Sha wasn’t the only strong figure in the first layer. If they broke Alice’s seal, these people were beyond Su Xiao’s ability to handle. Some of them were even stronger than Alice; they were trapped by the castle itself, not Alice’s powers.

If they got out and saw Su Xiao, what would happen? A harmonious and friendly conversation? No kidding, these tenants might get angry at Su Xiao, having been locked up for so long. Now that hope was within reach, they were almost losing their sanity.

”It doesn’t look good.”

As Su Xiao spoke, a spatial fluctuation appeared, and a dark silhouette emerged.

Upon seeing the figure, Su Xiao’s first thought was: what kind of demon is this!

Upon closer inspection, the coal-black silhouette turned out to be Bubu Wang, now shaking its fur as it trotted towards Su Xiao, its eyes saying, ”Master, is there any water? I urgently need a bath.”

”So you went and dealt in coal after all.”

Su Xiao didn’t take out any water; the current situation didn’t allow time for a bath.

Bubu Wang grinned, showing its white teeth, made unusually bright by the black dust on its fur.

From Bubu Wang’s expression, it seemed to really have gone into the coal business, leaving Su Xiao speechless for a while. It had been at the auction for three days, only to end up dealing in coal.

Bubu Wang dashed behind Su Xiao, also sensing the unusual situation.

The upheaval continued on the first layer, tenants impulsively kept hitting the wooden doors, displaying a determination to either break them down or die trying.

After pondering a while, Su Xiao headed towards Sha’s room; he wasn’t familiar with other tenants, but he had negotiated with Sha, and stayed in her room for two days.

The situation was clear: if Alice didn’t return to the castle, the tenants sooner or later would break out, and the first layer wasn’t as crucial compared to the dangers in the fourth layer’s Forest of the Strong.

Even if the tenants escaped, they would merely flee from the castle, unable to cause any substantial harm. However, creatures from the fourth layer were different—such as the Parasitic Star Crab, or some entities supplying energy to the entire castle, or the original owner of Demon Castle, a demon betrayed by friends.

These beings were far more dangerous than the guests on the first layer. If they broke free, Alice wouldn’t need to return to the castle; fleeing might offer a glimmer of hope.

This was why the first layer’s tenants might succeed in smashing the doors imprisoning them; when that happened, Su Xiao, trapped in the layer, would be affected too. Normally, he needed to obtain the ’Game Winner’s Badge’, proving he had passed the Demon Castle’s challenge, to return to Reincarnation Paradise.

Thinking it through, Su Xiao decided to ally with one tenant to penetrate the tenants’ circle; he had quite a good plan.

Su Xiao quickly reached the wooden door where Sha was, raised his hand, and knocked.

Upon hearing it, the pounding door went silent, and Sha inside stopped hitting it.

”Who?”

”Bai Ye.”

”Oh?”

Sha pressed her body against the door, a grin on her face, both excited and a bit twisted.

”Help me get out, I can give you anything you want.”

”Not needed.”

Hearing Su Xiao’s words, Sha’s face darkened.

”I can help you out, but...”

Su Xiao whispered to Sha, leaving her stunned. ℴ

”You have a grudge against Alice?”

”She tried to kill me over ten times.”

”Deal!”

Sha promptly agreed to Su Xiao’s proposal, as he approached the door to study the light pattern on it. This internal destruction was tough, but external destruction was quite simple. It was a kind of enhancement alchemy magic pattern, substantially enhancing the door’s strength.

Su Xiao took several materials from the storage space, simply mixed them, and poured the light yellow liquid on the door.

Sizzle~

Blue smoke rose; Su Xiao’s concoction was an alchemy reagent similar to strong acid but much more corrosive.

”Keep damaging the door.”

”Rushing Fist!”

A roar came from Sha, then she punched the door.

Bang!

The light patterns on the door quickly dimmed. Sensing this, Sha began frantically destroying it from inside.

With a snap, the door shattered, and Sha, in a punching stance, burst out yet froze in place.

”Haha, hahaha, hahahahaha!”

Sha laughed maniacally, revealing her daring personality.

”I’m out!!!”

Sha’s roar brought a deathly silence to the pounding layer suddenly, then it surged with excitement.

”Let me out.”

”Someone succeeded, it was that woman Sha.”

”Sha, get me out, I’m the Blood Marquis.”

”I have a treasure house on Blue Sea Star, it’s my life’s wealth. Help me out, it’s all yours.”

Loud shouts erupted from various rooms.

”Don’t worry, I’ll get you out for sure. We’re cellmates, after all.”

Sha stepped towards a nearby door, but was she that kind-hearted? Of course not; it was the condition Su Xiao set upon releasing her.
