Dimensional Codex System: I'm really not a cultist!

Red Ponytail stood with immense pride at the border, while Henrietta and Tabasa watched her with a mix of emotions.

It wasn’t for any other reason; the truth was that Red Ponytail’s attire was too bizarre right now...

She wore a long white coat that reached the ground. Her head was wrapped in a bright red headband, and as the wind blew, Red Ponytail’s coat fluttered, revealing several pitch-black large characters subtly moving on the back.

At the top of the coat, it was written ”Shonan” in big letters, followed by ”The Strongest Ever, Rampaging Angel, Aira Buyu, First Generation Chief of Special Attack.” On both sleeves were the words ”Demon Explosion Arrives, Flare-up Supreme”...

Well, although Henrietta and the others didn’t understand anyway.

”Really, wearing such weird clothes.”

Not far away, Louise watched the scene, grumbling, while her gaze at Henrietta and Tabasa carried a hint of jealousy. After all, Saber was supposed to be her familiar, so why did Saber sign a contract with Henrietta and Tabasa and not transform her into a magical girl?

I am your master!

At this moment, Red Ponytail paid no attention to the complex glances from the others. She squatted on the ground in the ”Asia Squat” pose, chewing on a grass root...

Well, no matter what, she definitely didn’t look like a holy divine envoy.

Soon, on the other side of the horizon, pitch-black shadows gradually appeared.

”Here they come.”

Watching the Gaul’s grand army appear from afar, Henrietta couldn’t help but feel nervous. Although Red Ponytail promised to handle it, seeing the seventy-thousand strong army firsthand made her anxious. They only had four people; despite the divine envoy’s unparalleled power ensuring no danger, if a battle truly ensued... would Tolisstin have to face war again?

Thinking of this, Henrietta turned towards Tabasa. Though Tabasa’s expression remained unchanged, the sweat on her brow was proof that her heart wasn’t as calm as her appearance suggested.

”Phew.”

As she saw the army approach, Red Ponytail spat out the grass root she was chewing, stood up, hefted the bright red greatsword onto her shoulder, and spoke.

”Listen, Gaul army, I am the divine envoy of the God of Magical Girls, Red Ponytail the righteous magical girl. The daughter of the former King’s successor, Charlotte Eleanor Orlea, has already signed a contract with my lord to become a magical girl. Any threat against her is a provocation against my lord and all magical girls! I demand you halt immediately and return, or else face annihilation!”

Red Ponytail’s voice wasn’t loud, yet it resonated clearly in everyone’s ears. Hearing Red Ponytail’s words, the Gaul troops were perplexed, as such outrageous demands were unheard of. Normally, they’d dismiss it as insane ramblings.

But now, despite being so far away that even binoculars showed only a tiny dot, her voice echoed clearly in everyone’s ears?

This couldn’t be explained merely by magic.

Considering Tolisstin’s divine protection, many grew uneasy.

”Your majesty, what do you think...?”

Aboard the flagship, the commander looked uneasily towards the Gaul King reclining on the sofa, who then gave a stoic command.

”Continue forward.”

”Understood... continue forward.”

Soon, the Gaul army advanced once more.

”Divine envoy...”

Seeing this, Henrietta grew increasingly tense, but Red Ponytail waved her hand dismissively.

”No worries. People won’t cry until they see the coffin. It’s normal. Just show them a glimpse, and they’ll understand.”

As she spoke, Red Ponytail raised her bright red greatsword.

Then she swung it forcefully forward.

”----------------”

With Red Ponytail’s movement, the entire world seemed to constrict, followed by...

”Boom!!”

A deafening roar sounded, as from Red Ponytail’s point onward, the earth cracked instantly, as if an invisible blade of thousands of meters had descended from the heavens, slicing the earth like a cake. The abyss stretched ahead, and witnessing this, the Gaul troops on the ground scrambled chaotically to avoid the bottomless chasm.

In no time, the orderly troops descended into chaos.

The airborne Gaul fleet didn’t fare better; the sweeping sword qi turned into a massive tornado, launching a warship caught in its path skyward, while others swayed like being sucked into a vortex, forcing captains to retreat from the airspace to stabilize.

The fissure extended to the horizon, and with a thunderous boom, the distant mountains crumbled.

”...........”

Everyone was dumbfounded.

”Phew...”

With one swing, Red Ponytail exhaled and looked ahead.

”Anyone else—!?”

”..............”

No one spoke.

No one dared speak.

Even Henrietta, Tabasa, and Louise were stunned. The power of Red Ponytail’s strike exceeded their imagination. This wasn’t a realm attainable by magic; a single strike could split the earth, and the raging winds—the realm of deities!

This was a miracle!!

At this moment, Red Ponytail turned and pointed at Tabasa.

”Such a cute girl, and your king killed her father, and now sends seventy thousand troops to capture her? Is there still justice? Is there still law?”

”......”

”Now, let’s see who dares to take half a step forward! I’ll take his life!”

This time, the seventy thousand strong army halted once more.

Not because of orders, but instinct---the instinct for survival, just as when facing an abyss, the human body ignores the will and forces a stop.

”Your, Your Majesty?”

This time, the Commander again looked back at the King of Gaul, yet what he saw was the king’s unfaltering calmness.

”Attack.”

”Your Majesty? What are you saying?! We can’t do it!”

Hearing this command from the King of Gaul, the Commander was stunned. Leaving aside the terrifying power of the adversary’s attack, just by range, they weren’t even within firing distance yet. Even if they launched an attack from here, it couldn’t reach the vicinity of that Red Ponytail girl.

Let alone that she’s a Divine Envoy!

No one doubted Red Ponytail’s true identity now; just one strike was enough to bring terrifying destruction to this land, something only a deity could do.

”Attack!”

However, the King of Gaul showed not a trace of fear; instead, his eyes glowed, as if he’d found some amusing toy.

”But, this......”

The Commander wanted to say more, but when he lifted his head and looked into the eyes of the King of Gaul, his whole body suddenly trembled.

What a pair of mad eyes......

”Attack, or die here now.”

”......Yes, Your Majesty.”

The Commander lowered his head, responding uneasily.

But as the order was given, chaos erupted within the army.

”What? Attack? Assault the Divine Envoy? The king’s gone mad?”

”She’s still far off in the distance; if she attacks again, we’re all doomed!!”

And among them......

”I refuse to execute the order!”

The Captain stood up, face grim.

”That inept king killed his own brother to take the throne, and now he wants to kill that respected one’s child! I cannot tolerate such madness any longer! Moreover, that Princess has already gained divine favor, clearly proving she is the true heir to the throne!”

At this, the Captain gave a command.

”Pass the order, from now on, the Phoenix Ship will defect from the royal army; we will fight for Her Royal Highness Princess Charlotte!”

Soon, the Captain’s order was executed, and then everyone saw a warship breaking ranks, moving toward their side. Shortly after, a voice rang out.

”This is Captain Rolnd Seleit of the ’Phoenix Ship’, we officially declare our defection from the royal army to fight for Her Royal Highness Princess Charlotte. Those willing to follow, please break ranks with me!”

What?

Hearing this, Henrietta and the Gaulian troops were equally shocked; such a battlefield defection... they had never seen before.

But indeed, the Captain of the Phoenix Ship spoke truthfully.

Soon......

”This is the White Eagle, we too will follow Her Royal Highness Princess Charlotte!”

”The Second Guard Division swears to serve Her Royal Highness fervently, long live Her Royal Highness!!”

Soon, the ranks began to devolve into chaos. A large batch of units led by the Phoenix Ship defected directly, leaving other troops stunned, unsure of what to do.

However, those who said they wanted to protect the King of Gaul were very few.

After all, the current king ascended by killing his brother, and frankly, within the country, his brother’s reputation was originally much better. Because of this, many have harbored dissatisfaction towards this inept king, and given the situation, they certainly wouldn’t risk their lives for a usurper who killed his own brother.

Let alone, opposite them stood a divine envoy!

”This......”

Seeing this, both Henrietta and Tabasa were completely stunned.

They never imagined that just by wielding a sword and uttering a few words, Red Ponytail could cause the whole Gaulian army to fall apart?

”Alright, it’s settled.”

Watching the chaotic military formation in the distance, Red Ponytail nodded in satisfaction, then turned to Tabasa.

”Go, Tabasa, the person you’re looking for is right there, end this with your own hands.”

Hearing Red Ponytail’s words, Tabasa’s once bewildered eyes suddenly became clear, and she looked at Red Ponytail, nodding firmly.

”......Yes!”
