Dimensional Codex System: I'm really not a cultist!

For a moment, the entire battlefield seemed to freeze.

The massive red dragon descending from the sky was so gigantic that even Albion’s prideful warships seemed no larger than old mice in its presence. Just the brilliant eyes of that giant red dragon were brighter than the two moons of this continent!

Watching the dragon descend from the sky, everyone was stricken with terror, and the soldiers of the Albion fleet collapsed to the ground in fright. The unrestrained Dragon Might covered the land, forcing all living beings to kneel in submission.

Then, the dragon slowly opened its arms, revealing Louise standing there between its claws.

”It’s your turn next.”

”...”

”Louise?”

”Eh? Ah?”

”What are you staring blankly at? Get moving! Pretending to be a fool just looks absurd, I’m telling you!”

Hearing the complaint from the red ponytail in her mind, Louise finally relaxed. In truth, ever since the red ponytail transformed into this red dragon and flew her into the sky, Louise’s mind had been in a daze. Although she had already accepted that her summoned familiar was a divine envoy, as the red ponytail said, only by truly witnessing such a colossal dragon could she truly understand what kind of existence she had summoned.

However, thankfully, it seemed her familiar hadn’t changed even in dragon form.

This fact seemed to give Louise some reassurance, and she closed her eyes, beginning to chant the spell. Soon, under Louise’s chant, the void’s power began to condense. Louise raised her magic wand and pointed forward.

The radiant, scorching sunlight reappeared.

At this moment, the dazzling sunlight enveloped the entire battlefield, transforming into a massive light orb that expanded gradually. Albion’s fleet was completely defenseless before this mysterious and powerful force; they could only watch in despair as the light orb grew larger and larger.

And then...

”——————!”

No sound.

At this moment, all sound seemed to have been erased from the world. The soldiers on the ground from Tolisstin shouted loudly, but nothing could be heard. Then, in the next moment, an unparalleled explosion suddenly emerged. Violent air currents swept across the battlefield. Whether Albion or Tolisstin, all soldiers were blown to the ground, caught off guard. The Tolisstin stationed in defense far away fared better, but the Albion soldiers comparatively closer to the explosion suffered much worse. They were directly swept into the air by the wind, screaming as they flew into the sky and then fell heavily to the ground.

Even the dragon knights protecting the fleet couldn’t resist the force of such a storm. Before being consumed by the explosion’s flames, the dragon knights of Albion and the wind dragons they rode were torn into fragments by the storm.

The dazzling light at this moment even outshone the sun, as Albion’s fleet burned with flames, falling to the ground like meteors.

”A miracle...”

The first to come to his senses was the Minister of Military Affairs standing behind the Princess. He stared intensely at the scene before him and then shouted.

”Look, the enemy fleet has been annihilated, wiped out by the Divine Dragon!”

”Oh, oh, oh, oh!!”

At this moment, hearing the Minister of Military Affairs’ shout, others came to their senses as well, raising their hands and cheering excitedly.

”Long live Tolisstin! Long live the Divine Dragon!”

”All forces, attack!”

Henrietta also came to her senses at this moment; she raised her scepter decisively and pointed forward.

”Attack!!”

The battle lasted less than two hours to conclude.

After the Divine Dragon’s appearance crushed Albion’s fleet, the remaining Albion army on the ground was directly routed. Although they vastly outnumbered Tolisstin, faced with the spirited Tolisstin troops, the Albion people offered no resistance, opting instead to flee—and yet, just as they stepped forward, they saw a wall of flames rising from the ground blocking them.

This time, the Albion army had no choice but to surrender.

Thus, the actual fighting took less than twenty minutes, but gathering the captives took more time—after all, too many captives could be problematic.

After everything ended, Henrietta finally breathed a sigh of relief, when suddenly a soldier beside her shouted.

”Look, the Divine Dragon, the Divine Dragon is coming!”

Hearing this, everyone stared in surprise, and saw the Divine Dragon descending from the sky, approaching them. Watching the giant red dragon come near, the soldiers began trembling again, not knowing what to do while clutching their weapons nervously. Though in rationale, the dragon had saved them, facing such a massive entity, human instinctive fear was still unconquerable.

”Stand down immediately!”

Witnessing this scene, Henrietta frowned and commanded, then stepped forward a few steps to meet the Divine Dragon.

Then, under everyone’s watchful eyes, the Divine Dragon extended its hand, and Louise gently descended from the sky, kneeling respectfully before the Princess.

”Your Royal Highness, mission accomplished.”

”Ah, Louise... Truly thanks to you...”

Henrietta quickly stepped forward, grabbed Louise’s hand tightly, pulling her up. Meanwhile, the giant red dragon suddenly shook itself and swiftly shrank, turning back into the form of the red ponytail.

”Hah... Is it over? Let’s go home and sleep.”

Ignoring the amazed gazes of the soldiers around, the red ponytail yawned and stretched as she spoke.

And witnessing this scene, everyone was stunned.

Albion’s conspiracy thus collapsed, but things did not end here. On the contrary, for some people...

”This is just the beginning!”

Red Ponytail slapped the table.

”Next, what we need to do is build up our military and then capture the whole of Albion!”

”Excuse me, Divine Envoy.”

Looking at Red Ponytail in front of him, the Minister of Military Affairs also spoke.

”You know the current situation of our country, Albion is far stronger than us. Although we’ve defeated their vanguard force, however...”

”Haven’t Albion’s warships already been completely destroyed?”

”Our fleet is also completely destroyed...”

At this point, the Minister of Military Affairs also smiled helplessly.

”To be honest, we currently only have half of a reserve fleet left, the rest are civilian ships...”

”Oh, that’s no problem. Just keep the wreckage of the fleets that were previously destroyed for me. Any other problems?”

”Then, forgive my rudeness.”

At this moment, the Minister of Military Affairs’ expression suddenly turned serious. He looked deeply at Henrietta, then turned to Red Ponytail.

”Divine Envoy... you are the messenger of the Foreign God, right?”

”That’s correct.”

”I heard you don’t intend to change the national religion?”

”No plans for that, freedom of belief is important, right? Everyone has the freedom to believe or not believe, to believe this religion or that religion...”

”Then, do you need to build a church to let priests spread the deity’s fame?”

”What do I need that for?”

”Eh?”

Hearing this, everyone present was stunned, even Henrietta looked at Red Ponytail in surprise.

”Um... Miss Divine Envoy, I originally hoped to build a church to praise the deity’s achievements...”

”No need to waste money. If you want to make a memorial, just make a statue and put it in the square. It can also serve as a tourist attraction to draw some visitors.”

”But, don’t you need believers?”

”Oh, they’re needed, but you can’t help.”

”Eh?”

”My master is the God of Magical Girls. Simply put, my master protects those girls who are born with special powers and suffer because of it. And my master came here after hearing Louise’s prayers...”

As she spoke, Red Ponytail pointed to Louise sitting next to her.

”...So she sent me here, and after that, your Princess requested me to save her country, so I came to help. But old man, you neither have special powers, nor are you a girl, so even if your faith is devout, we can’t help you.”

Saying this, Red Ponytail grinned and spread her hands.

”So, our way of spreading belief is different from yours. In short, we want people to know there’s such a deity who will help those suffering girls, but other than that... it’s not needed.”

”But, but...”

Listening to Red Ponytail’s answer, the Minister of Military Affairs felt like his decades-old worldview was about to shatter.

”Isn’t it said that God loves the world...”

”Oh, go talk nonsense somewhere else. When they say God loves the world, that means loving everyone, which really means loving no one, right? You do good deeds and respect the deity with sincere faith every day, and yet in your deity’s eyes, you’re not above a criminal who commits heinous acts with no belief at all. Doesn’t that make you uncomfortable?”

”Uh, this...”

Faced with these words, the Minister of Military Affairs was completely speechless.

She’s so reasonable, I have nothing to say...

”Alright, no more nonsense, there’s indeed a lot of things that need you to do.”

As she spoke, Red Ponytail took out a plan and placed it on the table.

”Henrietta’s wish is for the country to become strong, without having to look at others’ expressions. I’ve also made a plan, take a look and tell me if there are any issues.”

”Yes, forgive me for my rudeness.”

Looking at the plan in front of him, the Minister of Military Affairs felt a bit strange. This was completely different from what he expected when talking to a Divine Envoy... is it because this Foreign God behaves unusually? Or are all deities actually like this?

With this thought in mind, the Minister of Military Affairs also picked up the plan and began to read it.

And with one glance, his face changed dramatically!
