Dimensional Codex System: I'm really not a cultist!

Chapter 1706: Chapter 1704: First Evangelism

Red Ponytail naturally didn’t care about Henrietta’s thoughts; after introducing her ”product,” she returned to the academy with Louise. However, at that moment, Louise seemed somewhat distracted.

”What’s wrong, Louise?”

”Well, um...SABER?”

”Hmm?”

”Could you tell me about yourself?”

”About myself?”

”That’s right.”

Saying this, Louise also nodded, looking at Red Ponytail with increasingly serious eyes.

”Speaking of which, I’ve summoned you for quite a while now, and I still don’t know who you really are or where you’re from...”

”I’m quite interested in that myself.”

However, before Louise could finish her sentence, Kuruk poked his head in from outside, interrupting her.

”Kuruk, you’re eavesdropping again!”

”Who told you not to use Shizune Magic! Serves you right!”

”You...”

Generally speaking, when nobles have conversations, they specifically use magic to block sound and prevent eavesdropping. But Louise can’t use such magic. Although she’s started using Void Ethereal Energy under Red Ponytail’s guidance, in strict terms, Void Ethereal Energy is considered a superpower rather than magic...

After all, there are differences between the two.

Kuruk is obviously quite skilled too; she quickly pulled Tabasa in and occupied Louise’s table before Louise could even speak, skillfully setting out various snacks... By the time Louise wanted to speak, the two were already sitting there ready to hear the gossip.

Seeing this, Louise rolled her eyes helplessly, said no more, and plopped down in another empty seat, waiting for Red Ponytail to start talking.

”Alright, let’s start with a story...”

Seeing the scene before her, Red Ponytail casually pulled out the Wake Wood and slapped it on the table.

”Jia Baoyu’s first test of wind and rain affection, Granny Liu’s first visit to Rongguo Mansion.”

”........???”

”It was said that when Xi Ren reached out to tie his pants, she unknowingly extended her hand to his thigh, feeling the chill and dampness of it... Xi Ren was a clever girl, two years older than Baoyu, and had recently begun to understand the ways of the world...”

”........???”

Seeing the three girls’ big eyes staring at small eyes, Red Ponytail awkwardly coughed.

”Can’t understand, huh? Then forget it...”

Or maybe ”Wily Pan flirted behind the curtain, Old Wangwoman discussed skills at the teahouse”?

Forget it, let’s not get off track.

Thinking this, Red Ponytail put away the Wake Wood and sat back down.

”My identity...well, strictly speaking, I’m a Divine Envoy.”

”Divine...Envoy?”

”A messenger of the deity, does that make it clearer?”

”Huh? Huhhuhhuh!!?”

Hearing this, both Louise and Kuruk exclaimed in surprise.

”Really?”

”You’re actually a messenger of the deity, so which deity are you a messenger of?”

”Uh........”

Hearing Kuruk’s question, Red Ponytail’s face darkened.

”......God of Magical Girls.”

”......Doesn’t seem like I’ve heard of this deity...”

In response to Red Ponytail’s answer, the three exchanged looks and shook their heads, while Red Ponytail sighed helplessly.

”That’s quite normal because the God of Magical Girls isn’t a deity in your world.”

Although Red Ponytail herself didn’t want to say it, she had to, because the ”God Name” of deities is extremely important.

For example, names like Moon God, Sun God, and God of Wisdom—of course, you might not know the names that follow, but at least when you hear the God Name, you know what they’re in charge of. This way, a ”two-way connection” can be established between believers and deities.

Just like how many species fall under the God of Magical Girls’ protection, such as fairies from the Immortal Sword and magical girls from the Magical Girl World. But during that time, they couldn’t provide Fang Zheng with faith and divine power because neither party knew of the other’s existence.

It’s a bit like paying taxes; you need to know there’s a national tax department and understand your obligation to pay taxes. Otherwise, if you don’t know, you can’t just voluntarily hand over your money, right?

Unlike that, deities and believers don’t need such clarity, but without announcing existence under a specific name, the power of faith has no place to be sent to, thus failing to gather power of faith.

In that relationship, deities are generally in a dominant position, and believers are passive. Just like Aya before, and now Louise, their prayers were received by Fang Zheng because they met the criteria, thus Fang Zheng became aware of their existence. If Fang Zheng responded to their prayers, then the pathway for mutual understanding is established, but if Fang Zheng doesn’t respond, then naturally they wouldn’t know of this being’s existence.

Currently, Red Ponytail’s identity is as an incarnation and envoy of the God of Magical Girls, so... although it’s quite embarrassing, she has to say it!

After all, that’s her job.

”Speaking of which, are you really from another world?”

”Of course, this world is vast. It’s not just this continent you know; there are many different worlds and civilizations in places unknown to you...”

Introducing these worlds was something Red Ponytail had gotten used to; after all, she had to talk about this every time she went somewhere, so she adeptly opened her personal terminal.

The first image that appeared was a photo of Fumie Busei wrapped in a towel after a bath, with her wet white hair sticking to her slender neck, looking unusually...

Red Ponytail quickly closed it.

”What’s wrong? SABER?”

”Cough cough, nothing much, let’s continue watching then.”

Red Ponytail nonchalantly coughed a few times, then opened the video. To handle such situations, she had already prepared several introduction videos, including ones about the Mech World and Game World, and recently added one featuring Emilia and her friends’ world. All were pre-shot materials; she just needed to cut out the revealing, bathing, or undressing parts to use the rest for promotional videos.

And looking at the moving pictures before them, the three girls showed considerable interest. It must be said that the Supernatural World, whether Immortal Hero or Magicland, had a high acceptance of unknown things; even projection wasn’t an issue and was easily understood.

However, in the Sci-Fi World, acceptance of the unknown was low, as was the case in both the Game World and Mech World.

Perhaps this was because the Supernatural World didn’t concern itself with the causes of occurrences but focused more on outcomes, whereas the Sci-Fi World emphasized understanding why such phenomena occurred?

For the three of them, the ”promotional videos” of the Game World and Mech World were clearly more interesting.

”Amazing...”

”People in that world actually live on such a big sphere?”

”They can actually ride such enormous ships flying in the sky?”

Watching the video, Red Ponytail felt like she was facing three customers watching a Maldives travel promotional video while discussing travel routes to the Maldives...

”SABER, what standard does our world meet?”

After watching these world promotional videos, Louise couldn’t wait to ask, while Red Ponytail shrugged her shoulders.

”Honestly? It’s a Low Magic World.”

”Low Magic World? What do you mean?”

”A world of Low Magic.”

”Is our world really that weak?”

Louise was instantly dissatisfied upon hearing this, but Red Ponytail just chuckled.

”Pretty much. Based on my observations, your world currently only ranks at low magic level.”

”So, with a Low Magic World, does that mean there’s a High Magic World too?”

At this moment, Tabasa, who had remained silent, suddenly focused her eyes on Red Ponytail and asked. Red Ponytail nodded.

”Precisely, what you saw in the last video is considered a High Magic World. The people in it have powerful strength... Um, far surpassing the strong magical powers of your world. I know a girl who is younger than Louise and only knows one magic called ’Burst Magic,’ but this Burst Magic is enough to level the entire academy in an instant.”

Although she could only use it once a day.

”Level the entire academy in an instant?”

At this point, the three were stunned. You know, Tolisstin Magic Academy’s grounds are quite large. To say that leveling the entire academy in an instant was possible, even the powerful mages probably couldn’t do it.

And in that world, could a fourteen-year-old girl accomplish this?

Is that world really so terrifying?

”Then, does that world have methods for healing?”

At this point, Tabasa suddenly spoke up again, causing Kuruk and Louise to look at her in confusion, because Tabasa has always been quiet, often alone. Had it not been for Kuruk dragging her along, she probably wouldn’t have come. But now, Tabasa was suddenly proactive, and her usually emotionless face was showing hints of anxiety and unease.

”Healing? Of course, generally speaking, no disease is a problem, and sometimes even resurrecting the dead is possible. However, it depends on the conditions.”

”Really?!”

Upon hearing this, Tabasa stood up abruptly, staring intensely at Red Ponytail.

”So, so...!”

She opened her mouth as if wanting to say something, but couldn’t for a long time. Nonetheless, her face clearly showed hesitation and inner conflict.

”What’s wrong, Tabasa?”

Kuruk looked at her friend worriedly.

”Is something the matter?”

”.........”

Upon hearing Kuruk’s words, Tabasa was silent for a moment before sitting back down.

”Sorry, let me think about it.”

”.......?”

Facing Tabasa’s response, Louise and Kuruk exchanged puzzled glances, while Red Ponytail looked at Tabasa without saying a word. She could guess that Tabasa wanted to ask her for something, but... Since Tabasa didn’t speak, Red Ponytail decided to wait for now.

Let’s talk later.

Developing believers isn’t something to rush.
