Dimensional Codex System: I'm really not a cultist!

Approaching dawn.

It was the darkest moment, the red combat aircraft roared through the sky, and the Red Ponytail in the cockpit appeared calm. She gripped the control stick and stared at the pitch-black night sky before her.

Still...... it feels a bit off just going into battle like this.

Thinking this, Red Ponytail reached out and turned on the music switch in her aircraft, lifting it up.

Soon, majestic and powerful music sounded, followed by a female voice matching the upbeat BGM resonating within the cockpit.

”Just as Rika blossoms across the horizon, a soft veil drifts over the river; Katyusha standing on the steep bank, her song bright like the spring light......”

This is the way it should be!

Listening to the familiar song, Red Ponytail slapped the control stick, then piloted the aircraft swiftly forward.

For the Albion soldiers, they still hadn’t realized that their doom was upon them.

”Those officials are really insane, calling us out for patrols in the middle of the night...... patrol what patrol!”

A soldier riding on a Flying Dragon struggled to keep his eyes wide open, peering into the pitch-dark night while complaining. He was previously sleeping snugly in bed, only to be rudely awakened, and to discover it was the senior officials requiring them to patrol...... what kind of joke is that?

”Alright, stop complaining. Everyone is tense recently, aren’t they?”

”That’s what you say, but these officials are way too neurotic, aren’t they? The Tolisstin army hasn’t reached us yet, right? Even at their speed, it would take at least a week for them to reach Albion if they set off immediately, what’s the point of throwing us out now? I’m telling you, those guys are scared out of their wits!”

”But I heard Tolisstin has assistance from an Otherworldly Deity......”

”Humph, how could there be an Otherworldly Deity? It must be some kind of devil! Tolisstin must be partnering with some evil entity, otherwise, how could our mighty Albion fleet be annihilated by Tolisstin?”

”Oh, whether it’s a devil or a deity...... even the First Fleet of Albion has been defeated, do you think we can hold out for long?”

”............”

Hearing this topic, the other soldier lost interest in talking as well. As his comrade indicated, regardless of whether Tolisstin sought help from devils or deities, their adversary now possessed immensely powerful strength. In such circumstances, could Albion still secure victory?

Even Albion’s Expedition Army failed, relying on these soldiers left behind, what good would it do?

”Hmm?”

At this moment, the soldier in front raised his head, looked skyward, and rubbed his eyes.

”What’s that flashing red dot?”

”What red dot?”

The other soldier also looked up, and then he saw a flashing red dot in the sky—was it moving?

It looked like a star, but are there red stars? Moreover, typical stars don’t move, right?

What is it?

A few people were riding on Flying Dragons, eyes wide with curiosity, someone even took out a telescope to observe, but they quickly realized the red star was approaching them closer and closer......

No, that’s not a star!

”———————!!”

Under the pitch-black night, the group couldn’t see anything, they only felt a violent air current suddenly sweep overhead, followed by a strong wind pressure mixed with a sonic boom that lifted the soldiers from their Flying Dragons. It was like an invisible giant hand swatted them away, like swatting flies, blowing these unfortunate soldiers and their Flying Dragons away. These soldiers didn’t even get a chance to scream before disappearing into the vast night.

Meanwhile, in the cockpit, Red Ponytail was still shaking her head to the nostalgic song.

”Arise, mighty nation. Engage in decisive battle. To obliterate the fascist menace and annihilate the vile criminals! Let noble fury surge like waves. Engage in the people’s war, the holy war ———!”

”Here we are! Get ready to act!”

While humming the song, Red Ponytail fiercely pulled the control stick, and the next moment, the aircraft swiftly spiraled downward, swooping toward the fortress cloaked in night. Soon, markers appeared on the screen before Red Ponytail. After confirming all targets were locked, Red Ponytail smiled slightly, then pressed the button.

”Fire all missiles!”

Hundreds of miniature tracking missiles erupted from behind the aircraft like Sanhua, rapidly racing toward the targets ahead. They descended from the sky with trails of smoke, hitting the fortress ahead.

The next instant, a series of fiery explosions erupted from left to right, forming a beautiful wall of flames, illuminating the sky.

”The first wave of attacks is complete, next is Boson Jump preparation!”

Red Ponytail maneuvered the aircraft in a circle above the fortress, checking her achievement with satisfaction. Then she activated auto-pilot mode, reached out her hands, and soon, the power of time materialized once more in Red Ponytail’s hand, trembling before transforming into a small Light Orb.

Red Ponytail opened the cockpit door, casually tossing the small Light Orb out as if discarding trash on a highway.

If this was Earth, a penalty fine would be unavoidable.

As the Light Orb was thrown out, it immediately began to expand, then extended as a thin line toward the distance. This process lasted less than five seconds, and then there was a pulse in the air, followed by a large group of warships appearing behind the fortress!

”We made it?!”

Looking at the ”brightly lit” fortress not far away, the Tolisstin General was extremely excited. Of course, he heard Red Ponytail’s plan—the plan was ”I go first, then pull you over, then I play boss, and you deal damage”...... well, even if half of this he didn’t quite understand, the gist was clear enough.

Certainly, upon hearing the plan, the General was somewhat skeptical. Because under regular speed, even a forced march would require a week to reach Albion. But the General didn’t ask further questions, as Red Ponytail was a Divine Envoy, perhaps she had special means to teleport the entire fleet?

To be honest, even the General himself felt this was a joke. Teleportation Spell is already an Advanced Spell, ordinary Mages don’t even learn it. Not to mention, there are over forty thousand people here......

However, what he didn’t expect was that just a moment ago, he only felt the warship tremble slightly, and the next moment he saw the fortress below engulfed in flames!

It’s truly a miracle!!

”The deity blesses us, this is the power of the Divine Envoy!”

The General couldn’t help but shout at this moment.

”Everyone, the deity stands with us, victory is ours!!”

”Oh oh oh oh!!!”

Hearing the General’s shout, the soldiers also raised their hands in cheers. Although many of them were boarding the warship for the first time and might have felt fear and unease before, now, discovering they had crossed mountains and rivers in an instant and arrived in front of the enemy, these soldiers were filled with courage and excitement.

Tolisstin is a nation blessed by the deity, we can never fail!

”Lower altitude, bombard the fortress, prepare for a ground assault!”

The General gave the order fiercely.

”Albion will pay for how it humiliated us!”

[No need to go through such trouble]

However, just as the General’s order was issued, the voice of the Red Ponytail echoed in his mind. Hearing Red Ponytail’s voice, the General was stunned.

”Your meaning is......”

[I have a better plan. After ensuring control of this area, you only need to leave a division behind. The rest will continue with me to suppress another fortress, then we will head directly to the King’s City of Albion]

Red Ponytail smiled slightly when saying this.

[Before dawn, we shall plant the flag of Tolisstin on Albion’s King’s City!]

”This.........”

Hearing Red Ponytail’s command, the General instinctively wanted to say it was impossible, but suddenly stopped.

Right, why not?

Although, according to common sense, taking Albion in just one night...... no, just a few hours indeed seems like daydreaming. Even in dreams, no one dares to dream of such a thing, but is the current situation ordinary?

No!

They have a Divine Envoy leading them, and the deity’s blessing!

Under the deity’s protection, nothing is impossible!

Thinking of this, the General’s entire body trembled in excitement. Looking across the entire continent’s history, there’s never been a conquest of an enemy country in just one day. Even with the addition of a Divine Envoy or the protection of the deity, the one commanding the troops is still himself! If they succeed, his name would surely be etched in heavy ink in the continent’s history!

Moreover, this record might never be broken!

Such an opportunity, for hundreds of years past and future, might never come again!

”Yes!!”

After thinking it through, the General made a decisive decision. He was no fool and naturally wasn’t stupid enough to ask Red Ponytail why not directly take the King’s City. While capturing the king before dealing with thieves is logical, under current circumstances, the so-called king had long been overthrown by Albion’s Noble Council, and the Noble Council has yet to appoint a new ruler. In such a situation, even if they directly occupied the King’s City, it might instead give other Albion nobles a chance to exploit.

But now, if they directly occupy the two eastern and western fortresses, they essentially eliminate all of Albion’s combat power. Then, by suppressing the King’s City’s Noble Council, those nobles can’t stir up much trouble.

So, under the leadership of Red Ponytail, Tolisstin’s fleet advanced with unstoppable momentum. They conquered the eastern fortress to the tune of ”Holy War” and the western fortress to ”Moscow Nights.” The Chief of the Noble Council hadn’t even had time to wash his face and brush his teeth and had just listened to the reports of the invasion when Tolisstin’s fleet appeared over the King’s City and surrounded them.

”H-how can this be?”

The nobility stared out the window at the fleet in disbelief, speechless. They were already shocked upon receiving reports of the fortresses under attack, as intelligence indicated Tolisstin’s fleet had set sail only yesterday. By no means could it have reached Albion so quickly.

Yet facts speak for themselves. Although some suspected the warships were mere illusions created as a diversion by the enemy, and others foolishly ordered a counterattack, once the fleet swiftly destroyed those who dared to fire back, others fell silent.

”Sur-surrender! Surrender! Surrender immediately!!”

The Noble Council lacked the courage of Prince of Wales to drag others into death with them. Almost instantly, they decided to surrender.

But just at this moment......

”No, you cannot surrender.”

A figure clad entirely in a Black Robe silently appeared behind the Chief of the Noble Council, speaking in a low voice. Upon hearing her voice, the Chief shuddered.

”But, but.........”

”No buts.”

A finger pressed against the back of the Chief’s head, and in the next moment, his eyes filled entirely with void.

”This is your final task.”
