Dimensional Codex System: I'm really not a cultist!

Chapter 1517: Chapter 1515: It’s Actually Her?

Just like that, the program called ”Digital Pixie” was quickly modified by Nymph. Besides that, Fang Zheng had many other things to do.

After determining the situation in the new world, he decided to shape the new world into a realm similar to ”Pokémon”, basically a world centered around a game of animal and human ”Digital Pixies”. This required a series of constructions, such as planning new cities and various materials and resources.

In Fang Zheng’s vision, the cities in the new world, besides fulfilling necessary urban functions, should also have shops especially for Digital Pixies like the Dojos and Pokémon centers in Pokémon. These shops might sell decorative items, feed, small nests, and various pet supplies.

Only in this way, can the new world truly transform into a ”world changed by the game”.

Although these tasks are quite tedious, Fang Zheng didn’t mind. After all, he was only making suggestions, and others were the ones who would actually do the work. Currently, in the Heavenly Dao Palace, besides the little girls in charge of combat, many children had no jobs after graduation. Some chose to start their own businesses, while others stayed in school.

However, Fang Zheng knew this couldn’t go on. Currently, Heavenly Dao Palace does not have enough jobs for the little girls, but the development and construction of the new world is a great opportunity. It not only allows those already graduated to go to the new world to create their own cities but also creates plenty of job opportunities... Sigh, it seems the ruler of a world indeed has countless headaches.

Fortunately, many little girls were interested in pioneering the new world, and after viewing Fang Zheng’s introduction, approximately 150,000 had already signed up, eager to go and build and explore the new world.

In fact, even more people were interested, but because of the distant journey, many girls were worried. After all, even the Black World only required a teleportation gate to travel back and forth for the little girls. But in the Main World, due to unstable order, transport is currently only achievable through transport ships, taking one or two days each way.

For many children, this already felt like a ”distant journey”, and many were reluctant to leave the comfort of Heavenly Dao Palace.

Of course, the biggest barrier for them is that leaving Heavenly Dao Palace means leaving Fang Zheng. Although Fang Zheng didn’t often show up in Heavenly Dao Palace, everyone knew he was there, which was reassuring. But heading to the new world felt akin to children leaving their parents to travel far, inevitably causing some unease.

By the way, Fang Zheng also mentioned his idea to Aluco. Aluco seemed quite supportive of Fang Zheng’s thoughts, or rather, this little Star God couldn’t wait to see the change at the moment when the new world was altered.

After setting the goal, Fang Zheng left the remaining matters to others. According to Nymph’s estimate, it would take at least three months to complete the new world construction. Fang Zheng also decided that once the initial construction was done, he would immediately start the exploration work on the remaining three coordinate points.

As for now... Fang Zheng found himself in some trouble again, and it was with the Type Moon World.

Why is it always the Type Moon World... why are there so many troubles in this damn place?

Although Fang Zheng wanted to complain, upon seeing Fiore’s apologetic face, he had nothing more to say.

”So, what happened? Is there something you need my help with this time?”

”No... I’m very sorry, Lord Fang Zheng, this time I didn’t intend to trouble you. There’s just something I want to report to you.”

”Oh? What is it?”

”It’s like this.”

Hearing Fang Zheng’s inquiry, Fiore coughed slightly and handed over a letter.

”What is this?”

Fang Zheng casually took it, glancing at it.

”Grywinn Ashurban? Never heard of him.”

”He is the Clan Leader of the Ashurban Family and a very powerful magician, as well as a Restorer.”

”Restorer?”

”Yes, it’s rumored in private that he can repair broken Magic Circuits, which is quite renowned among magicians.”

”Oh...”

Fang Zheng responded indifferently. Repairing broken Magic Circuits might be significant for magicians in this world, but for Fang Zheng, as a Time Dragon, it was as simple as rewinding time.

”So... why did this Ashurban person send a letter? Does he want to join the World Tree of a Thousand Realms?”

”Not at all... actually, Mr. Ashurban died a month ago, and this invitation was sent by him personally before his death. The content is hoping we can inherit his estate...”

”Huh?”

Hearing this, Fang Zheng looked completely bewildered.

”Why would he want us to inherit his estate? We’re not some kind of charity organization.”

Though it’s heard that wealthy people would donate most of their estate to some foundations before they die, the World Tree of a Thousand Realms isn’t a public welfare Red Cross foundation.

”Logically, shouldn’t a magician choose his family to inherit his estate?”

”Mr. Ashurban didn’t have any direct relatives, so he contacted families he had ties with... and this gentleman had an old acquaintance with my father...”

”So you’re planning to inherit? Just right, we’re short on funds, the more the better.”

”The situation is not that simple, Lord Fang Zheng.”

Fiore smiled wryly at Fang Zheng’s words. Having attended the Amagi Brilliant Park gathering before, she knew Fang Zheng wasn’t from this world and thus provided him some background information.

”According to investigations, Mr. Ashurban sent letters to several families, and only one person can inherit his estate. Undoubtedly, even if you accept the invitation, there will be competition...”

”That complicated?”

Hearing this, Fang Zheng furrowed his brow.

”Though I feel like saying, if it’s so troublesome, don’t bother, but since you sought me out... you must have your own thoughts.”

”Yes, Master Fang Zheng.”

Facing Fang Zheng, Fiore finally showed a serious expression.

”Frankly speaking, our World Tree of a Thousand Realms does not have much interest in Mr. Ashurban’s inheritance, as currently we’re practicing the magecraft taught by you, Master.”

”Hmm, so?”

Fang Zheng nodded and continued to look at Fiore. As Fiore mentioned, the magicians in the World Tree of a Thousand Realms are now learning magecraft that Fang Zheng brought from the Main World. These magecraft theories are not particularly difficult for them, but require special learning to master. Moreover, unlike the Type Moon World’s magecraft, there is no concern of exposure with the Main World’s magecraft.

”However, I believe this is an opportunity.”

”Opportunity?”

”Yes, if you wish for our World Tree of a Thousand Realms not to remain secluded, but to officially stand out, this would be a great stage to do so. We can show our strength to other magicians and attract more magicians to join us...”

Saying this, Fiore paused for a moment and then pulled out a photo.

”According to my information, this gentleman will also participate.”

”Who is he?”

Fang Zheng picked up the photo and glanced at it, seeing a middle-aged man with long black hair who seemed to be suffering from chronic stomach issues.

”LORD El-Melloi II, serving in the Clock Tower’s Modern Magecraft Department, talented beyond measure. I’ve heard he will represent the House of El-Melloi, hence we also hope to communicate and connect with him. Of course, if we could bring the House of El-Melloi into the World Tree, that would be great.”

”I see. To officially stand out, huh? That sounds quite interesting.”

Fang Zheng stroked his chin. Indeed, if it’s simply about inheriting some legacy, he wouldn’t be the least bit interested. But to officially declare their presence to the Mage’s Association and openly poach members from the Clock Tower, that would be far more intriguing to Fang Zheng.

The mere Mage’s Association is nothing to Fang Zheng; the Clock Tower, Atlas Institute, Wandering Sea, in his view, could all be easily burned down with a casual fire.

If poaching members is possible, then of course that would be wonderful...

Since there’s nothing else occupying his time now, playing with the Mage’s Association wouldn’t be too bad.

If the Sanctuary Church dares to cause trouble, just take them down as well.

However...

”Hmm, I’m not quite suited to directly step forward...”

Fang Zheng, being recognized as the Third Magician, if he personally stepped forward, it would be akin to a millionaire personally snatching money from a middle-class family’s purse - absurd and laughable, and it would only make others think the World Tree is relying solely on the mage to get by.

”Of course, I do not intend for you, Master, to personally go. In fact, the person chosen to represent our World Tree has already been decided - a very smart and capable child. However...”

”However?”

”I am somewhat worried about her safety, so... Master Fang Zheng, do you think a magical girl who calls herself ’Red Ponytail’ would suffice?”

”......”

Upon hearing this, Fang Zheng’s eyelid twitched slightly.

”Ah, she is one of mine... What’s the matter?”

Speaking of which, if it weren’t for Fiore’s inquiry, Fang Zheng would have forgotten that he’d used the identity of Red Ponytail a few times to con people in the Type Moon World... Speaking of which, Aoko also knows the connection between Red Ponytail and the World Tree of a Thousand Realms...

”If possible, I’d like to request her as an escort to accompany the child on the trip...”

”Alright then...”

Faced with Fiore’s request, Fang Zheng hesitated for a moment, then nodded.

”It’s fine.”

After all, it’s Red Ponytail stepping forward; what does it have to do with me, Fang Zheng?

”But speaking of which, who do you plan to send as the representative of the World Tree of a Thousand Realms this time? Coles?”

”My brother is not suitable.”

In response to Fang Zheng’s inquiry, Fiore smiled bitterly and then reached out to pick up the information placed on the desk next to her.

”Please take a look, this is the child I’ve chosen.”

”Oh?”

Fang Zheng curiously took the information, and upon seeing the photo and name on it, his eyebrows immediately raised, and he whistled.

”This is interesting...”

Who would have thought, it turned out to be her?
