Dimensional Codex System: I'm really not a cultist!

Chapter 1510: Chapter 1509: Two Choices (Finally Back on the Mountain)

Under the efforts of the Azure Fleet and the girls, the beast’s attack was successfully repelled, and the beasts hovering in this area were completely annihilated.

Since one of his objectives had been achieved, Fang Zheng naturally did not hesitate any longer. He took Aluco with him to the Second Floating Island, where he finally met the one revered as the Sage, Swan Candler, as well as one of the Three Terrestrial Gods, Lord Black Candle.

”Oh, Aluco!!!”

The Lord Black Candle, who had once destroyed humanity, was now reduced to a giant black skull head. Yet, even so, upon seeing Aluco, it shouted excitedly, bouncing its enormous and comical skull head up and down to express its excitement.

”I’m here too, Lord Black Candle!”

”Red Lake Duke!!”

Compared to Lord Black Candle, Red Lake Duke was in a more miserable state. It didn’t even have a body to inhabit, reduced to a mere spirit lingering around Aluco. It was only after Fang Zheng revived Aluco that Red Lake Duke was awakened as well.

Of course, in Fang Zheng’s view, the Three Terrestrial Gods were essentially protective protocol systems for the Order Coordinates.

Unfortunately, they failed to fulfill their mission.

”Alright, now we can finally have a proper talk.”

Fang Zheng withdrew his gaze from Aluco, who was chatting with Lord Black Candle, and looked at the old man in front of him.

”What would you like to discuss with me, Star God?”

The old man was somewhat nervous facing Fang Zheng, evidently regarding him as akin to Aluco—a perspective not entirely wrong, as Aluco and her kind were called Star Gods precisely because they were divine beings from the stars...

And so was Fang Zheng’s identity.

So Fang Zheng just acknowledged it. Strictly speaking, his current status was higher than that of Aluco and her kind, but still lower than the Goddess of Order.

At least, he was considered a lower-tier blue-collar member.

”About the future of this world.”

Fang Zheng crossed his hands, looking coldly at the elderly man before him.

”To be honest, I really, really, really dislike you all. Whether it’s the extinct humans or the current orcs, in my eyes, you’re all foolish and detestable, not to mention your past crimes.”

At this, Fang Zheng glanced at Aluco again.

”But you’ve already received the punishment you deserved; those humans are extinct. That counts as an end.”

”............”

Hearing this, the Old Sage’s expression turned somewhat gloomy, yet Fang Zheng didn’t care.

”I can understand the decision you made, looking at the fate of this world now. Even though I don’t like it, I can understand it, so I’ll give you two choices.”

”Ch-Ch-Choice?”

The Old Sage seemed bewildered by Fang Zheng’s words, while Fang Zheng nodded and continued.

”The first choice is migration. I will relocate all the indigenous inhabitants of this world to another world...you can look at it that way. There, I’ll give you a piece of land where you can live freely without worry of beast attacks.”

Naturally, Fang Zheng was referring to the Main World. With so many Chaos Lands needing development there, resources were abundant but manpower was scarce, and human reproduction takes time. Moreover, with the power ranks of the Main World, Fang Zheng didn’t think these orcs could stir up any trouble.

After all, there were too many entities on the Main World continent that could eliminate them with a flick of the finger.

”And the other choice?”

”You can stay on this planet, but you must protect Aluco—she really likes you and this world, which is why I haven’t taken action against you. But to be honest, I don’t like you at all. Also, from my investigations in this world so far, it’s hard to be sure that you won’t repeat past mistakes. So I must make it clear—Aluco’s existence is very important to us. If she is threatened again, I will completely annihilate you...understood? This time, you won’t have the chance to linger for another five hundred years.”

”............”

Upon hearing Fang Zheng’s words, the Old Sage’s face immediately turned ashen. To be honest, he didn’t like either option. The former required leaving home—though most people in this world might wish for a piece of peace, this was still his homeland.

While the latter seemed less challenging, the Old Sage knew it wasn’t easy. He understood why Fang Zheng spoke this way—because not long ago, he’d received news from the Lizard Officer about the Kingdom of Elpes recklessly using the Golden Fairy for modifications.

Although he was also angry at the time, he hadn’t expected it to escalate to the current situation.

But what could the Old Sage say?

Five hundred years ago, they had attempted to kill Star Gods to let humanity continue, and now they were caught experimenting with Soul Fragments of the Star God.

Even if he swore to ”absolutely protect Master Aluco,” the other side might only look at him with a ”Do you take me for a fool?” expression.

So, the Old Sage couldn’t guarantee anything.

But this increased the risk significantly.

If someone courted death...they would pay with the lives of everyone in this world. From the tone of this young man in front, it was clear he wouldn’t give them a second chance.

As for the reason...the Old Sage knew it well.

Five hundred years ago, the sins they committed, they have to swallow them with tears.

However, the Old Sage knows very well that no matter what choices they make, they’ve lost the most precious thing.

Freedom.

Once they choose to migrate, it’s possible they indeed get a beautiful and peaceful life, but in return, they will no longer have independence, and will only be able to live under someone else’s wings.

But even if they stay here, they would still be under the watch of this group of Star Gods... unless they resist.

However...

The Old Sage silently glanced at the metal warship outside, which was even bigger than his own floating island, and immediately dismissed the idea.

The opponent only needs a single shot to blow the floating island into fragments.

”Let me think about it.”

In the end, the Old Sage could only give such a powerless answer.

Fang Zheng didn’t care about the Old Sage’s answer. After finishing the conversation with the Old Sage, he walked to the other side—right now Raphtalia, Nobiru, Fumie Busei, and Natsuse, even Little Hei and Illya were surrounding Katori and others, curiously greeting them and asking questions.

And just as Fang Zheng approached, he happened to hear Little Hei asking Neflen a question.

”What’s your relationship with big brother?”

”.........”

Upon hearing Little Hei’s question, Neflen was silent for a moment, seemingly thinking, then she tilted her head.

”Pet.”

”........Eh?”

”Is that possible?”

Upon hearing Neflen’s answer, both Little Hei and Illya were stunned, but Nobiru and Tina’s eyes lit up, as if they got some inspiration.

”Ahem ahem!”

Upon hearing this, Fang Zheng hurriedly coughed to interrupt the conversation. Just kidding, he didn’t know when he accepted Neflen as a pet. Although this silver-haired twin-tailed, always silent child indeed always followed him, but........hm?

Come to think of it, it does seem like it.

”Katori, Neflen, come here for a moment.”

While talking, Fang Zheng inserted himself into the group and beckoned to the group of Golden Fairies.

”I just talked to the Sage. It’s likely they will move to another world, so I’m here to ask your thoughts.”

”Our thoughts?”

Faced with Fang Zheng’s inquiry, Katori couldn’t help but be taken aback, while Landoruko frowned.

”What does that mean?”

”It’s about the future arrangements for the Golden Fairies.”

Fang Zheng glanced at Landoruko, then continued.

”You Golden Fairies once fought for this world, but now, the threat to this world is about to be eliminated, so I said... you can consider your future. I have two proposals, the first is you can follow me back to the Heavenly Dao Palace, where you can live the life you want. If you don’t know what to do, you can also study at the Heavenly Dao Palace, receive an education, and look more at the outside world before making a decision.”

”What’s the second one?”

”You can stay here, I’ll tell you secretly, I’m going to reconstruct this world to make it suitable for living. After that, I will build new cities on this land. Aluco and the Three Terrestrial Gods will stay here, she likes you, so if you’re willing to stay, you can also build your home from scratch here.”

When conversing with the Old Sage, Fang Zheng deliberately concealed this point, which is the reason he was confident enough to migrate these guys to the Main World. After all, the resources on the floating island are limited, and if they can’t return to the land, the resources on the floating island will eventually run out.

But the land at this moment is already completely dead.

If Fang Zheng didn’t possess planet modification technology, he would also be powerless with this planet.

But now it’s different.

For Fang Zheng, being able to have a planet in the Main World is invaluable. You must know that he has always been developing on a planet in the Main World, but that planet ultimately isn’t Fang Zheng’s. But this planet is different; Fang Zheng can completely redevelop it according to his own will.

He can turn this planet into whatever he wants it to be.

More importantly, with this planet, Fang Zheng has one more stronghold to resist Chaos and a———sanctuary.

After all, a wise rabbit has three burrows, and Fang Zheng has considered what if the Main World couldn’t hold out, would he have to find another place to take refuge. Before, he had no choice, but now... Fang Zheng just wants to be a real estate developer.
