Dimensional Codex System: I'm really not a cultist!

Chapter 1462: Chapter 1461: I Don’t Really Care (A Bunch of People Came to My House Today)

Fang Zheng walked in the passage, his face serious and solemn.

The Holy Grail War in the parallel world had ended, and now that he had returned to the Main World, he naturally no longer took on the twintail form.

The chaos in the Main World is indeed annoying, but that’s only for the magicians of the Type Moon World. For Fang Zheng, simply burning the Holy Grail, Greater Holy Grail, and chaos—along with the mountain behind—solved it thoroughly.

Of course, it resulted in creating a volcano in the backyard of Ryudou Temple... but considering the consequences of the continued erosion by chaos, this was already a pretty good ending.

After that, just as Fang Zheng had discussed in the outline with Illya before, they took action directly, helping Irisviel to snatch another Illya back from the Einzbern Family, then Emiya Kiritsugu and Irisviel settled down with their daughter in Fuyuki City. Naturally, Fang Zheng also entrusted Matou Sakura to them, to which both Emiya Kiritsugu and Irisviel had no objections.

By the way, Tohsaka Toki eventually died in the ICU, reportedly due to some intracranial infection... no matter how good a magician is, there’s nothing they can do about such problems.

”Creak...”

The heavy metal door slowly opened, and then the sound of ”mmm ahhh” came from inside.

Hearing this sound, Fang Zheng raised an eyebrow and continued inside. The Goddess of Order was sitting cross-legged in the void, resting her chin in her hands, her eyes wide and glowing as she looked at the wall in front of her.

Seeing Fang Zheng come in, the Goddess of Order’s expression changed, and she hurriedly reached out to shake her hand, soon stopping the ”mmm ahhh” sound that filled the space originally.

”I have something to ask.”

Fang Zheng glanced at the wall where two ragged men were doing unspeakable things before quickly looking away.

Women liking to watch BL isn’t anything strange; he had seen many female colleagues privately pairing popular bands and reading BL literature when he was at the company.

Of course, Fang Zheng never cared about it. After all, fujoshis are a major source of top-up motivation—just by putting a few handsome guys and adding some ambiguous emotional descriptions, the loyalty of fujoshis to top-up is much higher than that of male otakus.

After all, male otakus also have freeloaders, while fujoshis won’t rest until they’ve drawn the handsome guy.

Fang Zheng remained calm, but the Goddess of Order was a bit embarrassed. She first waved her hand to turn off the image on the wall and then changed her expression—from a blushing, excited fujoshi to an intelligent young woman wearing glasses with golden rims.

”What’s the problem?”

”Earlier, I went to another world, and that world was eroded by chaos.”

Fang Zheng briefly told of his encounters in the parallel world and then asked.

”Is this kind of situation normal?”

”Normal.”

Hearing Fang Zheng’s question, the Goddess of Order adjusted her glasses.

”Chaos is everywhere; it affects not only the Main World but also other worlds in the same way. In fact, the Goddess’s kin tried to control and eliminate chaos for this reason, ensuring the stable operation of each world...”

”Oh, got it.”

Facing the explanation from the Goddess of Order, Fang Zheng nodded, not saying anything more.

Seeing his calm expression, the Goddess of Order became curious.

”You’re not concerned?”

”Why should I be concerned?”

Fang Zheng looked curiously at the Goddess of Order, who frowned in response.

”You know, the harm of chaos can be great or small, but generally in the end, it will destroy a world.”

”I’m very aware.”

Fang Zheng had seen future timelines from Gaia; if he didn’t intervene, the parallel worlds would entangle together and then completely shatter. But Fang Zheng eradicated it directly when chaos just began to sprout, so naturally, the threat was also eliminated.

”Aren’t you worried?”

”Worried, yes, but once I know this is a normal situation, I’m not worried.”

Fang Zheng understood the Goddess of Order’s intent, but he still had his own view.

Unlike the Goddess of Order clan, Fang Zheng didn’t follow a binary view of chaos as either black or white, whereas the Goddess of Order clan adhered to this. Chaos is bad; order is good. So they sought to eliminate chaos when discovered and maintain order when found.

Perhaps since the Goddess of Order clan was immensely powerful from birth and believed they could change everything, their tolerance for unknown chaos was very low. But for Fang Zheng, a mortal, this tolerance was very high.

In fact, it’s just like ordinary life.

Everyone hopes to smoothly live out their life—get good grades at school, find a good job after graduating, then find a good wife, have good children, a full house, and happiness all life.

This is very orderly, with a clear direction.

But in reality, it won’t be that orderly. You might find you’re not good at studying, or even if you get good grades, you can’t find a good job. Or maybe you get a good job but have no luck with women, or you have woman luck but find the child isn’t yours...

A person’s life is a battle against various sudden situations.

Everyone hopes for peace, but accidents are bound to happen; maybe one day while following your usual school route, a beautiful girl falls from the sky onto you.

Of course, it could also be a fat lady.

These accidents are unpredictable and unavoidable.

But you can react.

If it’s a beautiful girl, just hold on tight.

If it’s a fat lady, just dodge.

It’s not a troublesome matter.

The reason Fang Zheng came to the Goddess of Order was to confirm whether this was normal or abnormal.

If it’s normal, then there’s no need to worry.

Just like someone getting cancer, there are many reasons, and while the odds are low, it’s normal for people to get cancer.

Conversely, if someone turns into a tentacle monster, that’s abnormal, and Fang Zheng would have to find out why.

After all, people aren’t supposed to turn into tentacle monsters.

Now that Fang Zheng confirmed the Moon World’s situation was the former and not the latter, he felt relieved. He didn’t want to face so many troublesome things after leaving the Main World.

However...

”Once the barrier is strengthened, the probability of a chaos invasion will decrease, right.”

”Yes.”

It seems that repairing the order barrier in the outer star system must also be scheduled.

Thinking of this, Fang Zheng made a decision, then turned and left, not forgetting to gesture to the Goddess of Order.

”Don’t mind me, continue.”

”Okay.”

Facing Fang Zheng’s answer, the Goddess of Order waved her hand, turning from the wise appearance with gold-framed glasses to a wall-staring, gleeful fujoshi.

Soon, strings of ”mmhm aah” sounds echoed again.

And Fang Zheng shook his head, intending to leave.

”...Help...”

Hmm?

At that moment, a barely audible voice suddenly appeared in Fang Zheng’s ear, but it was drowned out by the ”mmhm aah” sounds played by the Goddess of Order, leaving him unable to hear clearly.

”Did you just say something?”

Fang Zheng turned his head, curiously looking at the Goddess of Order, who was engrossed in her show and was startled, pausing her broadcast.

”No, did I say something?”

”Nothing, maybe I misheard.”

Fang Zheng listened quietly for a moment, confirming no other sounds, then shook his head, turned, and left.

Back at the Heavenly Dao Palace, there was still a mountain of things for Fang Zheng to handle.

First was Amagi Brilliant Park, which has now become the most popular attraction among the little girls in Heavenly Dao Palace. Therefore, after discussing with Latifa, Fang Zheng decided to cancel the entrance fee and only keep the charges for each entertainment facility. This was a conclusion he had drawn from many parks in his own world. After all, for places like parks and amusement parks, the flow of people is always the most important.

Conversely, once inside, it’s impossible not to spend money. At the very least, you’ll need to buy a bottle of cola when thirsty, or a croquette when hungry.

And so, after this back and forth, the money spent would surpass the entrance fee.

People’s psychology is quite peculiar; if you set an entrance fee, even if it’s just ten bucks, they’ll feel it’s expensive and raise their expectations.

After all, since they spent ten bucks, they expect to get their money’s worth in experiences.

If the attractions inside charge money again, it would be even more frustrating.

It’s like with video games; if you purchase a game and then the company imposes charges for items, players would cuss out the unscrupulous company.

On the flip side, if you offer a free mobile game and implement a top-up card draw system, players would just pump money into it without a second thought.

No one feels they’re being ripped off.

They only believe the company lost billions.

Of course, Fang Zheng didn’t forget to ”reward” his cute sister. After all, Sora mostly handles the amusement park affairs on behalf of Fang Zheng.

”Huff...huff...”

Sprawling on Fang Zheng’s chest, Sora’s face was slightly flushed, breathing softly, radiating satisfaction.

”Brother...seems even more intense than before...”

”It’s to reward you. You’re doing a great job, after all.”

While stroking Sora’s little head, Fang Zheng smiled and spoke. Hearing Fang Zheng’s words, Sora lifted her head, showing a stubborn expression.

”Of course, I’m my brother’s sister, can’t be outdone by others.”

Since that dimensional world gathering, after meeting Fang Zheng’s other ”sisters,” Sora has been motivated to improve herself. It’s no joke; among Fang Zheng’s ”sisters,” Tilia is one of the managers of Heavenly Dao Palace, His Majesty rules the Chinese Federation, and yet they are all ”adoptive sisters,” whereas she’s the ”real sister.”

She definitely can’t be outdone by them!

But Sora knew her limitations; she understood she lacked potent skills or unique knowledge, so she aimed to start with Amagi Brilliant Park to assist Fang Zheng. For this reason, she works quite hard, even though Sora isn’t inherently good at interpersonal communication.

But...comparing to a certain stiff individual, Sora found herself surprisingly astute in understanding people...

Thinking of this, Sora straightened up, pressed closely to Fang Zheng, and wrapped her arms around his neck.

”...I...”

”Hmm? What did you say?”

At this moment, Fang Zheng seemed to hear another barely noticeable voice, causing him to curiously turn his head towards Sora, whose face reddened slightly.

”Nothing, I meant...let’s go another round...”

”Certainly...”

Hearing Sora’s response, Fang Zheng smiled slightly.

Outside the infirmary, Chito Isuzu stood with a flushed face at the door, listening to the intermittent, faint moans coming from inside, her body rigid.

”Miss Isuzu?”

Suddenly, a gentle voice rang from behind Chito Isuzu, startling her. She quickly turned around to see Latifa standing there, smiling curiously at her.

”What are you doing?”

”Ah, no, I’m looking for Lord Fang Zheng and Miss Sora, I have some documents that need their confirmation...”

”Are they inside? Is someone sick?”

Speaking, Latifa curiously approached, reaching out to push the door.

”Ah, Your Highness!”

At this moment, Chito Isuzu quickly reached out to grab Latifa’s hand. But with Latifa’s motion, the infirmary door still opened slightly.

And seeing the situation inside through the gap, Latifa’s and Chito Isuzu’s actions immediately halted.
