Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 1010: Chapter 620: The Might of the Doodle Dog

”Heliolisk has lost its ability to battle! Milotic wins!”

The referee raised the flag.

Amidst the excited cheers of countless spectators, the commentator shouted, ”Heliolisk’s movement was restricted by the icy field! Contestant Baimu takes the lead! Elma has five remaining Pokémon!”

In the field.

The limp Heliolisk’s eyes turned into spirals, and the altered-color Milotic swam back to the trainer’s side to observe its new opponent and hear the trainer’s instructions.

Elma silently recalled it, soothingly saying, ”You’ve worked hard, Heliolisk, rest easy now.”

He retrieved a new Pokeball, looked gravely at the altered-color Milotic and Baimu, and tossed it out.

”It’s up to you! Smeargle!”

Bang!

A bright white light flashed.

A white humanoid dog with hair resembling a painter’s hat and a tail dipped in green paint like a brush landed.

Unlike Heliolisk, Smeargle’s stance was very stable, seemingly unaffected by the icy surface.

”Elma acted quickly! He switched to Smeargle! What is he planning to do against Baimu’s Milotic?”

”Rapid Return!”

Baimu commanded without hesitation.

Bang!

A burst of water splashed like a wave hitting the shore, only to see azure waves surge beneath Milotic, propelling its body towards Smeargle!

Elma hurriedly shouted, ”Use Invisible Rock! Then dodge!”

”Woof!”

Smeargle barked, spinning its brush-like tail, leaving green paint suspended in mid-air, from which sharp rocks fell and scattered across the field.

After doing this, it quickly retreated to the ice rock cluster behind it.

Meanwhile.

Milotic, transformed into a raging wave, approached, rumbling loud amid surging currents, diving straight into the ice rock cluster where Smeargle hid.

Bang!

Countless shattered ice and water splashes flew everywhere, chilling white mist billowed, covering most of the field, and muffling Smeargle’s faint groans.

A red light shone in the hazy field.

Elma hesitated, is Milotic being withdrawn?

Impossible, right?

How did Baimu know where Milotic was positioned? Also, the white mist before dispersing would hinder the recall beam...

He wasn’t aware that ”Rapid Return” was the water version of ”Rapid Return”, he mistakenly thought it was ”Water Jet”.

The two looked very similar, with the difference being scale, long for one and short for the other.

”Smeargle!”

He shouted, thinking Milotic used some exchanging technique after the water jet.

A howl came from within the gradually dissipating white mist.

Then Smeargle’s figure was exposed, holding its dizzy head, shaking continuously, evidently failing to dodge and had been hit by the charging Milotic.

Seeing it unscathed, Elma relaxed a bit but felt more puzzled.

Unable to understand the exchange’s reason.

At least the goal was achieved.

Bang!

A bright white light flashed.

The altered-color Gengar re-emerged, this time seriously scanning the surroundings.

”Geng...”

Suddenly, glowing, sharp stone pillars emerged in the air, as if they had eyes and chased it.

Gengar tried to evade but the glowing pillars instantly burst, with shooting stones like raindrops hitting its body all over.

”Geng!” Gengar groaned.

”Contestant Baimu switched!”

The commentator’s surprised voice sounded, ”He’s sending out Gengar, which is unfavorable against the general attribute Smeargle! The Invisible Rock caused damage? Is he showcasing Gengar’s equally strong poison attribute?”

General and ghost attributes nullify each other, though Gengar has poison attribute, most trainers develop its ghost attribute, with poison being secondary.

Elma looked wary but remained confident in Smeargle.

The latter’s Sketching has copied many powerful techniques, dealing with any situation calmly.

”Mushroom Spores!”

”Woof!”

Smeargle twirled the brush above its head, a light mushroom doodle appeared, then burst into countless luminous green powder spreading forward.

In no time, it reached in front of Gengar.

Baimu squinted calmly, ”Strong Mental Will!”

”Geng!”

Gengar raised its claws, its eyes glowed purple-pink, brushing away all the luminous green powder like a wave.

It further stirred a mental storm, completely sending them out of the field.

Mushroom Spores might be a divine sleeping skill in the game, sleep left then right, but as a tangible substance, practical operation is still quite flexible.

However, using Strong Mental Will to dispel requires quite high Pokémon micro-operational technique with Spiritual Power.

Gengar’s micro-operational skill was excellent, second only to Blissey.

Elma regretted seeing Mushroom Spores easily countered, deep down thinking Baimu wasn’t easy to deal with.

He shifted his thoughts, continuing,

”Butterfly Dance!”

”Woof!”

Smeargle waved its brush, translucent butterflies appeared and danced around it.

An orange-red glow brightened, quickly boosting its special attack, special defense, and speed!

Shifting from abnormal to amplification tactics?

Really...

Each one is trickier than the last!

Seeing this scene, Baimu sighed inwardly, ordering, ”Hypnosis Techniques!”

When not restricted by the number of techniques held, restricting Smeargle’s use of Sketch to copy various techniques depends only on its memory.
