Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 1033: Chapter 629: The Advantage Is Mine! (Part 2)

Baimu wiped his damp face and looked at Pelipper with some surprise: ”Is it the same rain trait, but this seems a bit stronger?”

If Politoed’s rain is a medium-small rain, then Pelipper’s rain is definitely a heavy rain.

The two scales are different, so the duration should also differ.

He looked up at the sky.

The rain in the first half lasted a very long time, and only when Hydreigon used Meteor Shower did it show signs of stopping. He’s unsure what the conditions will be in the second half.

The referee’s view swept over the two trainers in position, and the flag waved.

”The match begins!”

”With the Wind!”

”With the Wind!”

Orders were shouted from both sides, surprisingly with the exact same command.

As Hydreigon and Pelipper each flapped their wings, invoking a visible breeze, both realized they had chosen the same opening move.

Leon snorted lightly, shouting: ”Speed up? Strike first! Gale!”

The guy, seeing the computer randomly selecting the Water Field, acted as if he was invigorated, forgetting all the sluggishness of the first half.

However, it greatly reduced the chances of emotional interference causing issues for him.

Baimu, unhurriedly, waved his hand: ”Dragon Dive!”

”Sasha!”

Hydreigon roared fiercely, channeling the resentment of being robbed by the opponent in the first half onto that Pelipper, the blazing Dragon Flame instantly enveloping its entire body.

Boom!

The menacing three Energy Dragon Heads roared upward, stretching its pair of massive wings over the sky.

Under the shrouding darkness, it resembled a world-devastating evil dragon!

”Peli!”

Pelipper gazed at the enormous Energy Three-headed Dragon, feeling like it’s locked onto by a terrifying killing intent, making its whole body feel as if about to plummet into an icy abyss.

Yet it dared not relax, its wings flapped vigorously stirring the water in the Water Field below.

Rumble!

Like the rumble of thunder, a terrifying Water Spout suddenly formed, rushing skyward!

Meanwhile.

That giant Energy Flying Dragon came charging as well, appearing completely fearless of the Gale-created Water Spout.

Roar——!!

The invisible long howl shook the air.

”Don’t stop! Speed up your wing flapping!”

Leon shouted, guiding his Pokémon, not because he’s too excited, but the wind was too loud to shout instructions clearly to Pelipper.

Fortunately, there was still a certain degree of tacit understanding between them, Pelipper flapped its wings desperately, causing a second ”resonance” with the Water Field.

Another stream of water surged up, becoming part of the Water Spout.

Faced with the increasing scale of the technique, the giant Energy Three-headed Dragon showed no hesitation, charging head-on towards the towering Water Spout!

”Sasha!”

The wind almost drowned out Hydreigon’s cries.

Bam!

The formidable Water Spout reaching the heavens instantly collapsed in the middle under the fierce collision, seemingly unable to withstand the impact.

However, before the audience could cheer, its midpoint quickly reformed along with the stronger storm invoked by Pelipper’s wing flapping.

The giant Energy Three-headed Dragon, unable to break through in time, was trapped within.

As if imprisoned by the storm.

”Roar——”

The giant Energy Three-headed Dragon inside the storm let out a roar, yet continually failed to break free.

The commentator couldn’t help but shout: ”Hydreigon is caught by the combination of water flow and storm! Pelipper’s Gale is quite powerful!”

Leon showed delight: ”Well done!”

Indeed, it’s the most powerful Special Attack technique among Flying Attributes, with the rain enhancing its aggregation speed. It managed to equalize with Hydreigon’s attack!

— No, wait.

It has the advantage!

He observed the unharmed Pelipper and the restrained Hydreigon, feeling increasingly excited, ”When it comes out, use Water Cannon—”

Crash!

Before the words finished, the entire Water Spout exploded from top to bottom, alongside the blue Dragon Flame turning into all-encompassing water mist!

Pelipper was unable to reform in time, as the shockwave mixed with mist engulfed it.

Leon was stunned, and his heart suddenly skipped a beat.

”Pelipper! Fly out quickly!”

What a pity.

It was a bit late to react at that moment. Hydreigon had already used Dragon Dive and the explosion from Water Spout’s shockwave, rushing toward Pelipper like an arrow leaving the bow.

Already empowered by With the Wind, plus the acceleration from the shockwave, Hydreigon had turned into a barely discernible shadow!

Whew!

A strong gale blew!

Unable to dodge, Pelipper was rammed straight into Hydreigon’s mouth. The fierce impact caused both to fly out of the arena, passing over Leon’s head and crashing toward the edge of the field near the stands.

”Pelipper! Use Rapid Return to come back!”

Leon, his face suddenly changed, retrieved the Pokeball, but the Recycling Beam could only reach Hydreigon at that moment, forcing him to attempt to switch the techniques to bring his Pokémon back.

But it wasn’t that easy.

Both Pokémon rolled out of the field and fell below the stands, where Aerial Rotom clearly captured the scene of Hydreigon’s central head completely inside Pelipper’s beak.

Buzz!

The stands were in an uproar.

The commentator shouted excitedly: ”The third close combat! Every time Hydreigon aims to take down its opponent, it chooses to suppress with its powerful physique! Is this its special battle strategy?”

Baimu’s expression remained unchanged. At this distance, even if he shouted, Hydreigon wouldn’t hear him.

But that’s okay.

Hydreigon had long internalized the techniques to use next, so it wouldn’t waste any opportunity, attacking aggressively to defeat the opponent without needing orders.

Leon wasn’t as calm, constantly seeking an opportunity to retrieve Pelipper, with sweat mixed with rain dripping from his forehead, yet he dared not blink.

The troubling thing was that Hydreigon’s position was too strategic, preventing him from leaving the trainer’s seat or finding another angle.

Edge of the arena.

Not hearing the trainer’s command, Pelipper decided to give Hydreigon a point-blank Water Cannon, making it realize it couldn’t recklessly intrude everywhere.

However.

As the attacker, Hydreigon’s speed in offense was far greater than this big-mouthed seagull.

Its left and right heads fiercely bit into Pelipper’s wings, and the flashing electric current immediately flowed through its teeth into the opponent.

”Pelipper!?”

Just as Pelipper began to mobilize its energy, it was stunned by the electricity, and impulsively attempted to spit Hydreigon out.

Hydreigon was unwilling.

Though its primary head’s position was dangerous, it was also the optimal attack spot. Seeing Thunder Fang couldn’t paralyze the opponent, it spat a Dragon Flame directly inside!

”Pele—”

Pelipper’s eyes widened as a blue glow flashed in its mouth!

Bang!

Thick smoke billowed from its mouth, accompanied by a head covered in soot.

”Snsr...”

Hydreigon’s primary head also emitted smoke, as using high-power techniques in tight spaces would likely cause mutual harm akin to throwing a grenade at the enemy’s feet just a meter away.

He might be fatally wounded, you wouldn’t fare well either.

But Hydreigon’s stamina was excellent and it had reserved some strength, recovering once the smoke cleared.

Meanwhile, Pelipper inevitably fainted on the spot, as the energy explosion impact mostly confined to its beak area was enough to knock it out.

The referee, confirmed by Aerial Rotom, quickly raised the flag and declared:

”Pelipper is unable to battle! Hydreigon wins!”

”Leading in the second half! What a powerful Dragon-type Pokémon! It has defeated three opponents, and this seems not to be its limit yet!”

The commentator’s voice incited many nearly frenzied cheers from the audience.

Hydreigon flew back to the field.

Raindrops fell on its body, moistening its six wings again, but its flying ability remained unaffected. After all, its flight mainly relied on the trait Levitate.

However.

Leon’s heart had already turned cold.

He hurriedly took back the fainted Pelipper, feeling a deep sense of gloom.

He had actually believed the field would provide an overwhelming advantage to turn the tide, almost getting carried away, even though he had experienced the opponent’s formidable strength in the first half...

Completely failed to learn from the lesson!

Leon agonizingly self-reflected, realizing that rather than winning the match, he should consider whether he could defeat Hydreigon.

...What a bleak thought.

He sighed, suddenly noticing that Baimu had withdrawn Hydreigon.

”Hmm?”
