Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 1035: Chapter 630: Rainy Day Dragon King (Part 2)

Now is the time to verify what Aggron has paid for!

”The Water Cannon and Dragon’s Pulse triggered a Big Explosion! Aggron’s technique is incredibly fierce! Even in unfavorable conditions, it refuses to back down!”

The commentator’s passionate voice faltered as the mist dissipated.

In the water-rippled field, Aggron on the circular platform suddenly disappeared without a trace—very odd.

The audience was collectively surprised and gradually became noisy.

”Gone?”

”Aggron disappeared! Maybe it’s recalled into the Pokeball for a swap?”

”Could it be in the water?”

”What are you joking about? Aggron has a Weak Water Attribute! Moreover, how can it swim underwater? Wouldn’t it just sink?”

”Little do you know, it can learn to surf...”

There was a flurry of discussions among the crowd, with all sorts of opinions.

Leon’s face looked grim because he discovered through Kingdra that Aggron indeed sank to the bottom and was rapidly approaching it—

How is this possible!

Baimu’s Aggron can swim? And even dive?

No way.

Now is not the time to consider this.

”Use Tide Spin to bind it!”

He gritted his teeth and gave the order, firmly believing that Aggron couldn’t stay underwater for long; Kingdra’s Tide Spin might be able to capture it.

Even if it seems unlikely, it must be tried!

The opponent is preparing an ambush; can he just sit and wait?

”Do!”

Kingdra decisively plunged into the water.

Influenced by the trainer’s emotions, it was filled with indignation and resolve, and upon seeing Aggron wagging its tail approaching, its speed increased with Free and Easy, blowing out a milky white vortex from its barrel-like long snout!

Glug glug glug!

The turbulent water was overwhelmingly fierce, terrifyingly powerful under the rain’s enhancement, drawing Aggron, hindered by its size and unable to dodge, into the whirlpool with a strong spiral force.

Boom!

A loud sound!

In the spectators’ view, the originally surging Water Field in the middle suddenly sank.

The swirling water flow manifested into a huge fluorescent blue vortex, continuously emanating terrible rumbling sounds.

Looking deeper.

The releaser, Kingdra, was located at the bottom of the vortex, lowering its head to insert its long snout into the water, controlling the whirlpool’s rotation speed.

Rain fell and merged in.

Aggron’s figure appeared at the middle position of the Tide Spin, rotating back and forth with the flow; its exaggerated weight seemed unable to resist the strong twisting force.

From this point, one can see the terrifying aspect of Kingdra under the rain.

The commentator shouted: ”Aggron’s diving operation failed spectacularly! Trapped by Kingdra’s Tide Spin—wait! It’s not bound by the Tide Spin! Aggron is using the vortex’s rotational force to escape from underwater!”

The astonished cries drew the audience’s attention to observe the situation closely.

They saw Aggron within the Tide Spin adopting a swimming posture, its tail flicking rhythmically, rapidly spiraling up from the midsection to near the water’s surface.

A trainer living by the sea was enlightened.

”It’s surfing!”

”This is definitely a surfing board posture! It makes me want to step on it!”

Indeed.

At this moment, Aggron’s posture was exactly what Baimu once used at the beach in Martial Arts Town, as he stood on its back, both with Telepathy confronting the waves.

Later in the Glazed Gym, during repeated battles with Mikoli and Adam, he also used this technique.

Leon felt a moment of dread in his heart; he had a bad premonition.

”Raise your head! Attack with Water Cannon!”

The words fell.

Aggron had already reached the apex of the Tide Spin, but instead of returning to the platform, it flipped like a swimming expert, kicking the supporting platform’s cylindrical column with its lower limbs vigorously!

Bang!

A sound echoed.

It directly escaped the whirlpool, leaping to confront Kingdra at the bottom.

The latter’s mouth was accumulating a substantial amount of azure Water Attribute Energy, and upon seeing it, without hesitation, it sprayed out!

”Do!”

Rumble!

The fierce water flow shot straight to the sky!

Who would have thought Aggron seemingly anticipated it, crossing its claws in front of it, a honeycomb-like Spherical Light Shield forcibly endured the sudden blast of water!

The light flashed bright!

Many spectators instinctively avoided looking, but even more stared nervously at the violently shaking and vibrating light shield.

Kingdra’s Water Cannon was too fierce, and Defend seemed unable to withstand it, about to shatter!

Leon clenched his fist, watching Aggron get closer to Kingdra, knowing full well that once in close proximity to Baimu’s Pokémon, it would be hard to avoid again.

Please, you must shatter it!

No way.

Even though the hovering Aggron is less than two meters from the bottom of the Tide Spin, its Defend just keeps shaking without any sign of collapse.

”Quick, dodge!”

He can no longer hold back, shouting with all his effort.

Kingdra shudders violently, spraying the last bit of water without hesitation and darts into the nearby stream, attempting to escape with Free and Easy.

”Metal Sound.”

Baimu’s gaze is calm.

Beep——!!

Aggron’s dual horns glow, silver ripples ignored the water flow and rushed toward the fleeing Kingdra, who didn’t get far and was ensnared by the sound waves, showing a pained expression.

Boom!

The massive body of the Metal Giant Beast is blown back into the water again, sending up a towering splash.

But it didn’t mind any of that, just seized the moment to wave its thick tail, pulling Kingdra out of the water at the final second of the Metal Sound!

”Doh!”

Even without using a technique, Aggron’s mighty tail whip caused the opponent to feel as if their entire bones were shattered.

Leon’s pupils dilate, roaring, ”Quick, use Smoke Screen!”

Too late.

Kingdra, startled awake by the pain, realized it was airborne and instinctively spat out a small tuft of smoke, while Aggron in the water raised its head and opened its mouth, forming a terrifying Dragon Flame.

”Roar!!”

The roaring Energy Flying Dragon charged directly toward the falling Kingdra!

Bang!

Smoke and dust spread across the sky.

The commentator excitedly shouted, ”Attack and defend reversed! Dragon’s Pulse hits! Can Kingdra, whose Special Defense has been weakened by Metal Sound, endure!?”

Attack and defend reversed.

Meaning originally the lower Kingdra came to the top, and the upper Aggron switched to the bottom.

The pace of the attack was instantly shifted to the latter.

Under the curtain of rain, the smoke dissipates quickly.

The audience searched everywhere, soon spotting the unconscious Kingdra behind a circular platform, its half body exposed above the water, its heroic eyes turned into spirals.

”Kingdra is unable to battle! Aggron wins! Leon has one remaining Pokémon!”

The referee shouted, raising the flag.

Upon hearing the words, Leon felt as if he had plunged into an ice pit, his limbs cold.

Again, a failure.

The situation was so promising, yet it was overturned by Baimu’s Aggron!

He dejectedly covered his head, his fighting spirit nearly gone, his mind blank with no strategy for the final round.

Truly.

Kingdra was already very strong and tried hard.

If not for Aggron riding the tide to leap airborne when Kingdra’s Water Cannon shot powerfully, causing the latter to reflexively open its shield to block, the match would have ended sooner.

If it had been a second slower, it would have faced Dragon Dive.

Alas, Free and Easy is indeed a trait that enhances speed in all aspects on rainy days, making Aggron take a roundabout approach.

Of course.

Taking the Water Cannon and using Metal Explosion is also a strategy, but considering there’s another opponent, it doesn’t want to waste too much energy.

Fighting opponents weaker than oneself requires stability.

Aggron climbed back onto the circular platform, suddenly looking up at the sky, seeing the dense clouds slowly dissipating.

The rain is about to stop.

This time, as Baimu expected, the duration was considerably shortened due to the intensity of the rain.

”Groar~”

It casually flicked its tail.

On the other side.

Feeling the weather about to disappear, Leon’s face turned pale as misfortune compounded by continuous ”rain”; he retrieved Kingdra, his arms trembling, unable to release his final Pokémon.

The referee saw this and asked, ”Leon! It’s time to send out the last Pokémon!”

There are three reminders, and if after the third reminder he doesn’t release a Pokémon, it’s immediately judged as loss of fighting spirit, ending the match.

This prompted Leon to hurriedly throw out the last Pokeball.

Bang!

”Loong-pa-pa!”

Like a golden pineapple, Ludicolo jumped onto the platform.

It raised its head, suddenly saw Aggron on the opposite side shoot an icy blue lightning toward the Water Field!

Crack!

Crack, crack!

In an instant, the entire Water Field transformed into an Ice Field!
