Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 1024: Chapter 625: The Z-Move Appears! (Part 2)

The audience was abuzz with discussion.

Many believed that Eevee could not possibly be a match for Mega Mawile, but those familiar with Elma knew that Eevee was his first Pokémon and had been raised since Elma was very young.

Absolutely not weak.

Elma believed in various ways to become stronger without evolving and hoped Eevee would remain as it is.

This aligned with Ash Ketchum’s philosophy, and thus he received praise from the latter in Sun and Moon.

Of course, Elma’s Eevee wasn’t as powerful as Ash Ketchum’s Pikachu; usually, it couldn’t pull off a Steel Tail comparable to Giant Beast Slash.

It was indeed something to be reckoned with.

Previously, it partnered with Smeargle during the Gym challenge and defeated a careless Galarian Corsola, its speed was as unruly as the Pikachu from the No Seal version.

When first encountered, it startled him.

Luckily, it was taken down by Shared Fate.

Contestant Baimu quickly strategized and shouted, ”Taunt!”

”Baby-Doll Eyes!”

Elma’s command came simultaneously.

Mega Mawile looked at the petite Eevee and didn’t underestimate it because of its size, diving down with a serious expression.

Unexpectedly, Eevee’s movement seemed even quicker, its round eyes sparkling behind.

The next moment.

A blue light indicating decreased ability shone upon it.

Mega Mawile didn’t mind, casually beckoning it over as it approached.

”Chiddo~”

”Bui!”

Eevee scrunched its little face, quickly falling into the Taunt state.

The commentator shouted, ”Mawile’s attack power has decreased! Eevee was Taunted by Mawile! It’s now difficult for it to use transformation techniques! Contestant Baimu’s strategy is extremely meticulous! Not planning to give Contestant Elma any chance to retaliate!”

Seeing this, Elma called out again, ”Lightning Flash to create distance! Avoid head-on clashes with it!”

He had observed for a long time, believing Mega Mawile’s weak point might be speed, thus preparing to keep Eevee at a certain distance from Mega Mawile, relying on maneuverability to fight.

Just right, Eevee’s trait is Adaptability, effectively boosting the power of general attribute techniques.

”Eevee!”

Eevee saw Mega Mawile diving straight at it and immediately dashed off, transforming into a white streak, vanishing from its original spot in a blink.

Faster than before!

Baimu was moved, shouting, ”Chase with Rush!”

The follow-up Rush couldn’t damage Eevee, but Baimu was looking to utilize the speed-up effect during Rush’s release.

Mega Mawile landed, pivoting lightly on tiptoe.

Boom!

The ground trembled.

A whirl of black energy formed around it, rapidly spinning into a visible mini tornado, roaring towards Eevee!

What a fast burst of speed!

Elma did not expect Mega Mawile to nearly catch up with Eevee and immediately said, ”Increase speed and change course! Run erratically!”

”Bui Eevee!”

Eevee accelerated its running speed again, almost becoming an eye-straining white afterimage, instantly moving across the field to near the large hole.

Its previous action seemed to jump directly into the pit Mega Mawile had made, but as it was about to jump, its rear foot kicked back, changing direction.

Whoosh!

This creature was as agile as a wild rabbit, zigzagging to the other side of the field.

Mega Mawile thus missed its target.

Bang!

Sand and dust flew.

Its instant burst made changing direction too difficult; before, it could use rock to change course, but now it only pulverized stones when kicking, how could it redirect?

The black airflow dissipated.

”Get back to the sky!”

Baimu stopped wasting effort; since on the ground he couldn’t catch this ridiculously fast guy, he decided to seize an opportunity from the sky.

Sooner or later, you won’t be able to escape!

Mega Mawile didn’t hesitate to fly skyward, suddenly trailing a few crimson card-like energy planes behind.

”Ace!”

Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh!

The card-like energy cut through the air, surrounded by numerous crimson energies from the source Eevee.

This was a move that increased in power the more it was used, tied to the remaining energy of the user’s attribute energy, currently in its weakest phase.

Heading straight for the sky, Mega Mawile, without turning its head, had its twin Giant Jaws behind its head reach out, crunching and shattering the card-like energy.

The commentator said, ”The ace was shattered by Mega Mawile! It’s returned to the sky! Is the powerful Iron Head about to reappear?”

In reality, it cannot reappear.

Eevee’s opening Baby-Doll Eyes was quite effective, significantly reducing Mega Mawile’s output ability.

Unless...

”Sword Dance!”

Baimu didn’t hesitate; Eevee is currently restrained by the Taunt technique, unable to perform transformation. If not now, when will it enhance its attack?

The battlefield is only so large; where can you run?

Fight both you and the field together!

”Tchido~”

Mega Mawile gracefully danced in the air, phantom-like swords spun around it like a curtain of light, exuding an endless chilling sharpness.

In the blink of an eye.

Orange-yellow light soared from its body, its aura rising to a terrifying degree.

Elma frowned deeply; he initially wanted to weaken Mega Mawile as much as possible and then counterattack with his trump card.

Helplessly, Mega Mawile raised its attack power with Sword Dance again; dragging on any longer might result in no opportunity!

”Come on! Eevee! At this moment, surpass the sky and the earth!”

Under the watchful eyes of all, he crossed his hands, started moving as if dancing.

Dazzling light shone from the wristband on his wrist, becoming brighter with his fluid movements.

Then.

Light started to shine from Eevee’s body as well!

”Ee-vee-ee!”

”It’s finally here!”

Baimu’s attention was drawn to Elma, surprised that the latter’s movements were incredibly quick, unlike the sluggish portrayals in animation.

He shouted, ”No matter what Eevee is planning! Go for it! With all your might!”

”Tchido!”

Mega Mawile sensed a continuous surge of energy flowing into Eevee, a high-energy wave enough to put it on alert.

If so, this blow will decide the winner!

”Tch—”

It suddenly clenched its fists, exploding with intense blinding flash!

Boom!

The air emitted a muffled roar, shuddering and twisting as if ready to split open.

The two giant jaws behind its head erupted like flamethrowers, spewing colorful light streams, shaking the air while bursting with vibrant stars, dazzlingly beautiful.

Charging complete.

Mega Mawile looked down at Eevee from above; the energy within Eevee seemed to have been fully infused as well.

Equally powerful energy waves surged, and strange ascending arrow patterns appeared in front of Eevee, seemingly symbolizing a special meaning, inexplicably unsettling.

Elma and Baimu locked eyes.

Eevee and Mega Mawile also locked eyes.

For a moment, the air went silent.

Then.

Both Pokémon shouted in concord:

”Ultimate Invincible Charge / Ee-vee-ee!!”

”Playful / Tchido!”

As the words ended.

Mega Mawile fiercely charged downwards; its entire colorful light concentrated into its right fist, forming a shining pink cross star!

Eevee on the ground erupted like a rocket, terrifying natural forces transforming it into a small sun!

The next moment.

The twin stars collided!

Boom——!!

Unprecedented bright flash engulfed the entire venue, then energy detonated in a storm-like shockwave, threatening to destroy everything, reverberating throughout the arena, spreading in all directions!

Many spectators felt a shudder in their hearts as a thunderous boom rattled their ears, rendering everything invisible.

Someone screamed, but the explosion’s roar drowned it out.

The brilliance from the energy surge was unbearable for human eyes!

The ground and seating inside the venue shook crazily.

Defense devices activated early, dutifully protecting every spectator.

Surrounding the arena, the water body surged with waves, the ground rumbling incessantly.

Many watching from outside were shocked as they raised their heads to see a mushroom cloud in the sky above the arena, combining pink and gold!

”Incredible...”

”What technique is that? Eevee is just too strong!”

”If only we could watch inside the arena.”

”Forget it; it’s probably just as blurry inside. Both Baimu and Elma have the potential to win the championship!”

”You’re overthinking! How can Elma compare to Baimu? Their Pokémon are on different levels!”

”That’s not what I meant; stop arguing fruitlessly!”

Amongst the crowd there was chaos, while Pokémon mostly appeared jittery; they were more sensitive to energy waves, the residual waves alone made them sweat profusely.

If possible.

They would never wish to face those two monsters inside!
