Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 1016: Chapter 622: Mega Kangaskhan (Part 3)

This guy...

Baimu rubbed his temples.

As the saying goes, a qualified Trainer has to learn to respect a Pokémon’s wishes. As long as it’s not something totally outrageous, you should do your best to fulfill them.

To be honest, Gengar wasn’t the type that had to be on the field and would throw a tantrum if it wasn’t. It was just making a request.

All right then.

While there’s still some room for error.

Let’s fight it out to the very last second! Gengar! This is the path you chose yourself!

He shouted, ”Curse!”

Right now it was very necessary to bet that Elma would order a Rush, since Mega Kangaskhan had lost its Trait ”Gutsiness” and turned into the Trait Parent-child Love.

Parent-child Love was indeed insanely strong, but against Gengar it still needed Recognize to let its core Technique, Enhanced Fist, connect.

Baimu didn’t plan on giving Mega Kangaskhan the chance to use Recognize.

Sure enough.

As Gengar flew forward, the Technique Mega Kangaskhan and Little Kangaskhan were preparing to use was indeed Rush, but the blood-red glow gathering on their claws shattered and dispersed just as it formed.

”Gen!”

Gengar’s blood-red eyes flared, and it suddenly vanished from where it stood.

What’s this?

Elma froze for a split second, never expecting Baimu to break pattern, change his attack habits, and bring back Transformation Techniques. He hurriedly shouted, ”Shadow Claw!”

”Garu!”

”Garu ii!”

The big and small Kangaskhan each looked in a different direction, their claws just about to gleam with a faint purple light when Gengar appeared behind them with a creepy laugh.

The shadow beneath it spilled out a chilling black radiance, and an especially eerie phantom rose up.

”Ah—”

The phantom let out a hoarse scream as it lunged at Mega Kangaskhan.

Elma tried to call out a warning but it was too late. The phantom instantly drilled into Mega Kangaskhan’s body, like a Black Mist shrouding it from head to toe, bringing intense pain.

Mega Kangaskhan let out a muffled groan, then suddenly twisted to the side.

Gengar didn’t understand at first, then saw Little Kangaskhan Fierce Dive over, its ghostly purple claws raking hard across its body.

”Garu ii!”

Swish!

A puff of smoke burst open.

”Gen!”

Gengar rolled backward several times like a gourd rolling on the ground.

Little Kangaskhan’s attack might only be a portion of Mega Kangaskhan’s, but the power was still terrifying.

The commentator exclaimed, ”Little Kangaskhan’s Shadow Claw hits! Parent-child Love is so incredible—it’s given Little Kangaskhan the strength to fight on its own!”

Gengar clutched its belly as it got up. It hadn’t expected that after hitting the mom, the kid would still be this fierce. The Trainer clearly said before that if they attacked Mega Kangaskhan from behind, Little Kangaskhan would most likely be at a loss!

”...”

Baimu was also surprised by how bloodthirsty Little Kangaskhan was, but when he saw Elma’s expression, he immediately understood that these guys had already gone all in.

Back to a head‑on slugfest this fast?

”Avoid the front! True Qi Bullet!”

”Shattering Bite!”

The two Trainers spoke almost at the same time.

Gengar slipped back into the shadows again. One advantage of the Grass Terrain for it was that with the Sun shining down, the lush grass cast plenty of shadows, letting it fully utilize its shadow‑slinking ability.

Mega Kangaskhan’s cheek twitched slightly, proof that the Curse was constantly sapping its stamina, but its focus never wavered as it kept a close watch on its surroundings.

Little Kangaskhan was standing on its mom’s shoulder. It was so short that some of the taller grass around them was enough to block its line of sight.

The field went utterly quiet.

Then suddenly.

Something unknown burst through the grass a short distance away.

Mega Kangaskhan and Little Kangaskhan turned toward the sound!

Elma shouted, ”Don’t fall for it! It’s behind you!”

”Garu!”

Mega Kangaskhan spun around and bit without hesitation, black energy condensing in front of it into a set of jagged black energy fangs!

Little Kangaskhan jumped straight up into the air, overlooking the battlefield from above, and indeed spotted Gengar behind them.

A massive azure wave of energy had already gathered between its claws!

In that instant.

The black fangs and the azure wave of light collided!

Boom!

The explosion roared!

Unlike the previous clash between Rush and True Qi Bullet, this time the Mega Kangaskhan empowered by Super Evolution already possessed offensive power surpassing Gengar’s, biting straight through the smoke toward the backward‑flying Gengar.

”Garu!”

At the same moment.

Little Kangaskhan, falling from the sky, also opened its mouth, condensing a set of black fangs!

”Garu ii!”

Pure power overwhelming everything!

After Gengar had dominated their two teammates in the first half, at the start of the second half, Mega Kangaskhan and Little Kangaskhan used the exact same way to press it back!

The two sets of energy‑formed black fangs bit hard into Gengar, which couldn’t dodge in time.

Its expression slowly shifted from shock to ferocity—

Bang!

Smoke and dust billowed.

The commentator was stunned for a second, then shouted, ”Shattering Bite hits twice! Gengar can’t hold on! Mega Kangaskhan’s offensive power is terrifying!”
