Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 1045: Chapter 634: Quasi-God Humbled (Part 3)

It moved step by step toward the position where Steelix was located.

Just as the commentator in the studio was about to voice praise.

Suddenly.

”Release!”

An overwhelming Sandstorm Tornado roared and exhausted.

The sudden disappearance of resistance made Dragonite difficult to control its momentum, skimming past Steelix’s side at extreme speed.

It wasn’t until it frantically flapped its wings that it managed to stop.

Alice was stunned, her expression changing drastically, ”Not good! Dragonite, turn around quickly—”

Baimu shouted suddenly, ”The chance is here! Frozen Fang!”

”Ha-geng!”

Steelix opened its pitch-black mouth, cold air pouring out and transforming into an illusory ice-blue fang, biting towards Dragonite which was turning mid-air and swinging its fist!

Bang!

The alternation of hot and cold, two opposing attribute energies exploded.

The air instantly boiled, gray-white fog rolling and spreading in all directions, the huge temperature difference caused air currents to expand and contract, forming a terrifying hurricane!

Alice instinctively extended her hand to block, as the hurricane was mixed with the grit from the rock field.

She hadn’t anticipated that this Sandstorm was also part of Baimu’s strategy.

It’s like a tug of war on both sides, both focused and exerting all their strength to maintain the stalemate, suddenly one side chooses to let go, naturally causing the other side to lose control and topple.

Another trap!

And she had unknowingly jumped right into it again.

Alice felt herself like a foolish Magikarp, never learning, always falling into Baimu’s traps no matter how many times.

On the other side.

Baimu brushed the dust off his shoulder, marveling that Dragonite indeed had rich combat experience.

Under normal circumstances, how could a Pokémon react so promptly?

As for traps and such...

In Pokémon battles, factors to master never only entail the opponent’s Pokémon; the opponent themselves are crucial in determining the result.

Adjusting strategies based on the opponent’s personality.

It’s one result from his short week as Gym Leader; previously this concept was somewhat vague to him, only subconsciously used before.

But the identity as Gym Leader quickly gave him insight into how different trainers’ personalities impact Pokémon and tactics.

Alice, skilled in straightforward, fierce advancements.

Normally, she rarely uses transformation techniques against an opponent, her perpetual attacking is habitual, causing many to be breathless.

This battle against him employed so many transformation techniques, showing her desire for self-change isn’t hard to grasp.

Yet habits don’t change easily.

When the battle entered a stalemate, Alice seldom chooses to retreat and adopt other methods to attack; this was even more true when Dragonite appeared.

What’s Dragonite’s personality?

Even if it started obeying Alice’s commands, its inherently fierce nature wouldn’t abandon the clash phase it excels in and loves.

The smoke in the field dissipated.

One could see Dragonite’s body covered with a layer of frost, its face full of agony.

While the towering Steelix before it stood like a mountain without a breath, casting a shadow over it, appearing exceptionally terrifying.

The clash between Flame Fist and Frozen Fang resulted in Dragonite’s defeat.

No chance.

Multi-Scale Trait broken by the Sandstorm, it couldn’t withstand it no matter how much it wanted to resist, and this was a quadruple effect!

Alice decisively pulled out a Pokeball.

Baimu had already sent out a Garchomp earlier; how could he let Dragonite have the chance to step down again, commanding:

”Tie Tight!”

Giant Steelix agilely wrapped around Dragonite, the latter flapped its wings trying to flee but without using Divine Speed, it was slower in the Magic Space.

Ka-ka—

Dragonite was firmly bound by Steelix’s stout tail!

Recapturing beams of red were shot onto it but bounced off; the Tie Tight technique includes the additional state of [Binding], unable to step off without using forced replacement or certain spinning techniques.

”Dragonite! Use Jet Flame!”

Alice shouted anxiously.

Being close is actually a chance; Steelix’s horizontal steel structure couldn’t turn, making it difficult to block the Jet Flame attack.

Unfortunately, bound and in pain, Dragonite could only manage to howl.

”Dragon Breath!”

Steelix expelled a azure breath right downward!

Bang!

Smoke billowed.

”Dragonite...”

Alice gritted her silver teeth, lowering her head helplessly sighing.

Beep!

The referee waved the flag the instant the smoke cleared, ”Dragonite is unable to battle! Steelix wins!”
