Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 1007: Chapter 618: Detonate the Hype_2

Why is it only fermenting now?

Until he saw the source, those who stood up as callers—

The Gym Leaders from the Hoenn Region united by Mikoli and Adam, the Master of the Gorgeous Competition Affairs Bureau, Miss Joy from the Pokémon Centers in various cities, and idols led by Liu Lai and Liuqia.

They stood up like it had been premeditated, calling people to pay attention to that unnoticed corner of the world.

Seeing those faces, whether familiar or unfamiliar.

The emotion in Baimu’s heart was beyond compare.

He remembered the night he won the festival, Mikoli jokingly said he wanted to give him a surprise gift, he laughed and declined, not taking it seriously.

Never did he imagine that Mikoli kept it in mind and really presented an unimaginable grand gift.

In terms of world influence, Mikoli is undoubtedly at the pinnacle, his status as the first Master of the Gorgeous Competition gives him fans all over the world.

Plus so many others with equally strong influence.

Not causing a stir would be strange.

In essence.

Entrepreneurs in the mainstream regions have quite a social responsibility, unlike Ergin’s kind of charity conference where you pay ”protection fees” indirectly.

These people are genuinely doing charity.

After all, with the stable management by each region’s Alliance, while villain organizations are dispersing, collapsing, or hiding, everyone lives in a peaceful and happy society.

What to do when there are places that are not so peaceful and happy?

Definitely make them peaceful and happy.

The support activities for the Ore Region naturally gradually expanded.

As for whether any corresponding benefits can be gained during the support process, that’s another matter, anyway, it’s not only the Hoenn people who realize that the Ore Region is a virgin land worth developing.

This incident also introduced more people to Baimu, with more eyes on the Ever Grande Conference.

For a time.

The Ever Grande Conference had unprecedented popularity on blogs.

Someone ranked the probability of winning the championship based on the performance of the remaining eight contestants—

Baimu stood proudly at the top of the list.

The battle record so far is seen by all, who wouldn’t praise it?

As a result, more and more audiences support him, the voice of ”double victory” grows louder and louder, everyone is expecting him to achieve victory in the conference.

The other contestants have virtually become foils in some sense.

Afternoon.

The new patch disk sent by Dr. Akihabara arrived.

The eagerly awaiting Baimu hurriedly asked Porygon II to try installing it.

Ding!

A popup jumped out on the phone.

”A special version of Porygon II for Pokémon technique [Angularization] – [Thousand Transformations], that changes the flaw of Angularization requiring edges and corners, curves can also transform, reducing stamina consumption, increasing preset transforming shapes that can directly change according to drawings—exclusive to Porygon II.”

Baimu fell into deep thought.

Compared to the bug-like Porygon version of [Substitute], this Porygon II version of [Angularization] isn’t exaggerated, it just supplements some original flaws or restrictions.

From this, it’s not hard to see that Dr. Akihabara is determined to let Porygon surpass Rotom’s appliance-inhabiting transforming ability.

To say there is no improvement on Porygon II is impossible, but to say how much improvement... actually isn’t much.

This guy hasn’t yet fought a battle where it’s unable to sustain its transforming ability.

”Better to have than not.”

Baimu relaxed, turning to look at the data on various opponents.

The finals tournament adopts a full battle system, in other words, six vs. six.

Where the venue is determined by a roulette, if one side has three Pokémon unable to battle, then a mid-match break occurs, the venue will be replaced randomly again.

To achieve ultimate victory, one must win three consecutive full battles.

A severe challenge for the Pokémon of the contestants, if not managing energy distribution and recovery work well, it’s easy to win matches but end up with no Pokémon to send out.

Ash Ketchum’s opponent at the Silver Conference—Ye Yue, exhausted the stamina in the battle of his ace Pokémon Blaziken against Charizard, causing him to lose to his opponent in the semifinals due to difficulty in playing.

Quite a pity.

Fortunately, Baimu’s pool of Pokémon is quite deep, unlikely to encounter such a situation.

He browsed through the data, suddenly reaching to stop the sneaky Altered-color Gengar trying to peek, saying, ”Don’t worry, I won’t forget you.”

So far on this journey, only Altered-color Milotic, Mawile, and Altered-color Gengar haven’t appeared onstage.

The former two don’t need mention, they definitely have opportunities to get onstage with their strength.

The Altered-color Gengar felt it joined the team too late, its strength also somewhere in the mid-lower level, making it hard to appear in the decisive matches having missed earlier rounds.

So it secretly came over to check the opponent’s specific strength, trying to guess if it could have a chance to appear onstage.

Unexpectedly, its Trainer directly decided it should.

”Geng?”

It couldn’t believe it.

Baimu tapped its head, ”Starting next game, adjust your state tonight, can you do it?”

”Geng!?”

The Altered-color Gengar wore a shocked expression, didn’t anticipate the Trainer’s decision to be so sudden, instinctively felt anxious, hesitated and looked towards its companions behind.

Hm?

Why are they so excited?

It gradually realized they were waiting for its refusal to get their chance to appear.

Right.

Why was it anxious? Isn’t this the result it wanted? Everyone wants to be onstage to battle, even if Sun Coral was told, it wouldn’t refuse!

The Altered-color Gengar rekindled its confidence, nodded to the waiting Trainer affirmatively and said:

”Geng!”

It’s going to present its best state to face the opponent!

Defeat the opponent!

Baimu saw this and smiled pinching its ear, while the other surrounding Pokémon all showed regretful expressions, everyone had the strength to push the team directly, which led to so few opportunities to appear onstage.

Too hard to handle too many people for so little soup.

Didn’t get a good enough fight!

——

Clear sky.

The Holy Fire burned brightly.

In the vast main arena, tens of thousands of spectators cheered and shouted to welcome the eight contestants.

And in the center of the arena, was a super-large battle ground based on a trapezoidal high platform, capable of accommodating Pokémon like Onix and Wailord, allowing them limited range activities.

”Welcome to the event site! The finals of the Hoenn Alliance’s Ever Grande Conference is about to begin!”

The commentator’s voice spread throughout the arena, ”There are eight Trainers who can battle here, which contestant can stand at the highest peak? Let’s wait and see!”

Buzz!

The audience was in an uproar.

In the preparation room.

Baimu, Alice, Elma, and the others arrived one after another, looking at each other with either vigilance or curiosity.

”Long time no see! Hall Master Baimu... no, I should call you Contestant Baimu now.”

A charming peach-eyed, youth with pink hair very similar to Alice’s complexion stepped forward to greet.

He smiled and said: ”It’s been a long time, Elma, it seems you’re not surprised to see me here.”

”Because Mr. Sebastian told me before.”

Elma recalled the scene back then, couldn’t help but feel helpless, ”Actually, the first time I heard you were participating I was really surprised.”

For a Gym Leader who serves as one of the ”referees” for obtaining entry to the tournament, this kind of thing is unheard of.

It’s not too much to say it’s unconventional.

”Hahaha, I’m looking forward to battling you, let’s both do our best.”

He extended his fist.

Elma was momentarily stunned, then reached out to lightly bump, confidently said: ”Alright! This time I definitely won’t lose to you again!”

And after he walked away.

Alice quietly approached and asked in a low voice: ”Baimu, you two know each other? How come you never mentioned it before?”

”Just met once.”

Baimu briefly explained the process of knowing Elma.

Alice was surprised: ”You also served as a Gym Leader?”

”Only temporarily, nothing worth mentioning.” He waved his hand, and added, ”But I must warn you, Elma is very strong, underestimating him will cost you.”

While speaking.

Not far away on the TV, eight portraits scrambled randomly, finally paired two by two.

Baimu and Elma were surprisingly the opponents for the first round.

”Ha, white said.”

He laughed, looked at the other side’s spirited Elma, softly said: ”Looks like you won’t have the chance to meet him, at least not in this Ever Grande Conference.”
