Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 1028: Chapter 627: Rainy Day Brothers (Part 2)

”Gwa~”

In the sky above the field, wispy white clouds began to gather rapidly at a visible speed.

Many spectators looked up and saw drizzle pour down from the rain clouds surrounding the battle field, gradually soaking the Hydreigon and Politoed.

[Rain] Trait.

Baimu glanced at the trainer seats half drenched in rain, feeling a slight stir in his heart.

Weather team!

Undoubtedly, Leon is a competitor with a complete weather team system.

At the same time, he excels in rainy weather, and many of his Pokémon develop their strength centered around rain.

One could say his team configuration is closest to that of a game player.

But unfortunately, while Leon has a relatively mature team, his Pokémon’s individual strength is too ”weak.”

It’s hard to say how much the Hydreigon rain team’s many strategies can be truly effective.

Hopefully, it won’t be worse than Elma.

As Baimu pondered, the referee outside saw both Pokémon had appeared and resolutely waved the flag.

”The match begins!”

Deng!

The urgent sound of the prompt was deafening.

Both parties ordered decisively.

”Try Again!”

”Evil Fluctuation!”

Just as Leon spoke first, the Politoed also swiftly sprang into action.

With extraordinary bounce, it leaped with effort, instantly spanning over twenty meters across the field, greatly closing the distance with Hydreigon.

Pa!

It lightly clapped its hands, sending a special white energy surging forward!

The Hydreigon focused on attacking without dodging, allowing the white light to envelop it, as it opened three large mouths to condense three black rings.

The next moment.

Countless jet-black light balls shot out from them, charging at Politoed like a machine gun!

Bang bang bang bang!

The grass scattered, dust flying everywhere! Politoed just landed back on the ground, unable to dodge in time, when the terrifying shower of jet-black light balls arrived, completely engulfing it in smoke.

”Politoed!”

Leon was panic-stricken, guessing that Baimu would let Hydreigon use transformation techniques to start, thus planning to imprison it with [Try Again].

Who would have thought it would be an attack technique opening!

This wasn’t the rhythm of when you battled with Elma!

The smoke soon dispersed under the rain, fortunately, Politoed’s special defense was quite good, and it wasn’t defeated by Hydreigon in one blow.

But at this moment, it was also dispirited and squatting in the grass pile panting heavily.

The commentator shouted hoarsely: ”Evil Fluctuation is very effective! This hit seems quite effective! Can Politoed still hold on!?”

”Quick, come back!”

Leon didn’t wait for Hydreigon to launch the next attack and eagerly took out a Pokeball to retrieve Politoed, preventing it from exiting the match.

The second Pokeball was thrown.

”It’s up to you, Scizor!”

Pang.

The Scizor, all red, landed in the grass; it raised its head trying to observe its opponent, only to see Hydreigon opening its three mouths, spraying countless jet-black spheres from the three ripple-like black rings!

Swish swish swish!

A hail of Evil Attribute energy scattered through the air!

”Dodge backward!”

”Ha sa!”

Scizor’s pupils contracted as its insect wings suddenly flapped behind it, bringing urgent buzzing sounds; drenched in rain, it leapt backward.

Bang bang bang bang—

Only continuous explosion noises were heard, countless grass fragments flew wildly, and the dust rose only to be washed clean by the rainwater.

The commentator: ”Quick reflexes! The Evil Fluctuation all missed! Hydreigon is affected by Try Again and cannot use other techniques!”

”Sara?”

Hydreigon was somewhat surprised to see Scizor flapping its insect wings moving backward; it had aimed for the landing point to strike.

Yet it still didn’t hit? What a reaction!

Baimu was equally surprised; he had long known Leon’s Scizor had quick reflexes and burst speed, but he hadn’t expected it to perform better than video materials showed.

In such good shape?

Almost able to compare with Mawile.

Baimu waved his hand: ”Again!”

Leon commanded: ”High-speed Movement! Dive into the grass to evade!”

He seemed quite confident in Scizor’s speed.

And it did not disappoint him; the semi-transparent insect wings behind Scizor flapped rapidly, producing a dull buzzing sound, suddenly transforming into a black shadow disappearing from its original spot.

The rustling sound mixed with rain came from the grass all over the field.

”Sasa!”

Hydreigon roared upwards, three heads aiming at different positions, dispersing the originally concentrated Evil Fluctuation.

Bang bang bang—

The widely covering black light balls, like a machine gun barrage, continuously shattered the waist-high grass and blasted the moist soil below.

Despite Scizor’s rapid movements, it couldn’t help being hit in the back by the random scattered shots.

Boom!

”Ha sa!”

It groaned, forced to reveal its form.

Leon wanted to counterattack when Hydreigon was weary, yet it was his side that got exposed first!

Baimu pointed to where Scizor was, ”There it is! Full power release Evil Fluctuation!”

The fourth Evil Fluctuation, also the last Evil Fluctuation.

Hydreigon swiftly adjusted the direction of its three heads, and the three black rings in front of its mouths suddenly enlarged, with Evil Attribute energy gushing out frenziedly like cannonballs!

”Defend!”

Leon shouted anxiously.

Boom boom boom!

The grass was baptized by a destructive storm of light balls!

The commentator’s voice was high-pitched: ”The continuous Evil Fluctuation momentum is fierce! The prolonged, unrelenting offensive makes Scizor exposed! Can it withstand this ferocious attack!?”

Smoke billowed.

The rain continued to fall, showing no sign of stopping.
