Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 1019: Chapter 623: Self-Sacrifice to Save Others (Part 3)

The thin and long whiskers reached out, and under its incredulous gaze, they precisely found its ticklish spot and quickly poked around.

Smeargle’s expression quickly turned fierce and twisted, struggling instinctively and becoming increasingly locked in place: ”Ugh—”

The announcer shouted: ”Instant Movement has been interrupted! Smeargle can’t break free from Milotic’s Tight Binding, and if it can’t use its technique, will it fall here?!”

”...”

Elma held the Pokeball, staring at Smeargle, which was tightly bound by Milotic and couldn’t be retrieved in its bound status, seemingly headed for self-destruction.

Is this the end?

No!

He bit his lower lip, his gaze unprecedentedly firm. Having come to study from the Alola Region, he and his Pokémon promised to achieve something outside.

How can he fall so easily in such a place?

”Smeargle! Use your saliva to paint on Milotic!”

Elma, usually gentle, now sounded as though possessed by a Hot-blooded Youth, his voice loud enough for Baimu on the opposite side to hear clearly.

Saliva?

Baimu was stunned for a moment, then saw the struggling Smeargle start licking Milotic with its tongue, unknowingly splashing the latter with paint.

A bit unsettling!

”Use Water Flow Tail to throw it away!” He did not hesitate; even though Smeargle was close to being defeated, who knows what technique it was using.

Painting with its tongue...

Even if the paint from the tail brush is secreted by itself, it’s still quite absurd, isn’t it?

”Milo!”

Milotic frowned, feeling disgusted at being covered in saliva, swiftly throwing Smeargle away.

However, Smeargle had already finished its painting.

Boom!

Suddenly, an ominous cloud floated over the sky, yellow lightning darting within. As Milotic threw Smeargle with a Water Flow Tail, a terrifying falling thunder descended from above!

Crash!

Lightning and thunder flashed! The shocking lightning instantly covered Milotic, effects of high temperature, paralysis, and tearing from Electric Attribute Energy made it scream in agony while twitching, its body entirely scorched as it fell heavily to the ground.

”Milo...”

”Ugh...”

Smeargle was thrown into a clump of weeds, suffering heavily from the Water Flow Tail, lying on the ground feeling as though its whole body fell apart, unable to stand.

The announcer appeared shocked, surprised that both Pokémon fought to such an extent, ”Smeargle and Milotic both fell! Is it possible they have lost the ability to battle? Oh! Milotic is getting up!”

Milotic, struck by thunder, slowly propped up its upper body. With a gentle shake, the scorched marks on its surface fell away like shed old skin, leaving its brilliant appearance unchanged.

”Mi...lo...”

It breathed heavily, Smeargle’s lightning was extremely fierce, but this guy’s output capacity was indeed lacking somewhat.

It can withstand!

Milotic raised its head, just about to deal the final blow to Smeargle, who couldn’t even crawl up, when the Trainer’s command suddenly came.

”Use Self-Rebirth!”

”Milo?”

It widened its eyes with some confusion, but still followed the Trainer’s instructions.

Radiant green light swirled around its surface, gradually healing its injuries and restoring its stamina.

Baimu eyed Smeargle in the grass making small moves with its brush. How likely is it that it will use Self-Rebirth?

Very likely.

Then how likely is it that it will use Shared Fate?

Even more likely!

He believed Elma would not miss any chance to reduce his numbers; Shared Fate always was a daunting technique.

If he couldn’t prevent its use, he had to consider how to decrease its last bit of stamina without directly attacking it.

While pondering.

Suddenly, a flashing star flew up from Smeargle’s body, rapidly rising into the sky and disappearing.

Huh?

Beep—

The referee blew the whistle, ”Smeargle lost the ability to battle; Milotic wins!”

”Healing Wish!”

The announcer’s voice made Baimu’s breath pause, ”Smeargle chose Healing Wish at the last moment!

”It entrusted the hope of victory to its companion! What a heavy and yet hope-filled technique!”
