Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 650: Chapter 453: Bea, Bea_2

The Galarian Slowpoke is no exception; its focus for evolution, besides the Galarica Cuff, includes the bite of a Shellder.

Now is the perfect time for two Pokémon to evolve into one.

A bright blue light flashed, and the Galarian Slowpoke, whose left claw was bitten, quickly transformed from a crawling stance to a standing one, the golden part on its forehead turning violet as if invaded by venom.

And the Shellder on its left claw turned into a massive, violet-glowing spiral shell.

[Your Galarian Slowpoke evolved into a Galarian Slowbro]

The Superpower Users and the Slowking both had extremely happy expressions, but the newly evolved Galarian Slowbro remained as dazed as ever.

It seemed that evolution hadn’t increased its intelligence.

Moreover...

It appeared to have lost its ability to swim.

Baimu, watching the Galarian Slowbro struggling in the water, felt somewhat speechless.

Can innate swimming skills be forgotten? Especially since the transition took less than two minutes.

But with this creature, it somehow seemed reasonable.

On the screen, the Superpower User officially began training the two new psychic-type Pokémon caught in the Galar Region.

For Orbeetle, a Pokémon with a seemingly large brain, the Superpower User thoughtfully decided to train its endurance.

The previous battle with Lulina gave him some inspiration.

As for the Galarian Slowbro...

The Superpower User was quite interested in its exclusive Trait, Quick Draw.

Baimu was interested too, but unfortunately, the simulator seemed to find this part of the training not worth documenting and skipped right to the end of training.

[You completed your target’s special training, but during this time, you failed to locate any Gigantified Wild Pokémon, so you decided to set off]

The Superpower User, feeling a bit regretful, crossed the endless wilderness heading toward Fistgate City to the north.

Not long after.

The gates of Fistgate City came into view, with a giant dragon head sculpture exuding grandeur amidst its tranquility, and the towering Crown Tower resembling the backbone of a giant dragon, while the corridors stacking skyward seemed like the wings of a giant dragon.

[You’ve arrived at Fistgate City, which is said to retain the Galar Region’s most detailed ancient history and serves as the central city of the region]

Typically a bird’s eye view.

On the surface, Fistgate City and Mechanical City share a similar architectural style, but in reality, the former is much older.

Upon entering the city, the Superpower User headed straight for Fistgate Gym, only to be turned away by employees of the Marokomon Group.

[You heard from the staff that only challengers who have obtained seven badges can apply to challenge, which left you feeling a bit disappointed]

Clearly, as the nemesis of the Dan Emperor (self-proclaimed), Raihan is not someone just anyone can challenge easily, hence the badge requirement was established.

The Superpower User had no choice but to head to Inheritance Town to challenge the Gym there.

But if you want to head to Inheritance Town without taking a train, you inevitably have to climb over those towering and exposed gigantic Rock Mountains.

Unexpectedly, on Route 6, the Superpower User encountered a Gigantified Wild Pokémon that couldn’t be found no matter how hard he tried in the Wilderness Zone.

And when he encountered it, it was such a curious scene.

At the end of the scene, a peculiar giant snake, standing tall like a top and continuously spinning like a sandstorm, spewed gravel while trying to dodge the ferocious assaults from another blue humanoid octopus.

The difference in their sizes was akin to a toy and a human, yet the peculiar giant snake was completely helpless against the former.

”Gigantamax Sandaconda and Grapploct, Bea?”

Baimu raised an eyebrow and indeed saw a very blurry pixelated figure nearby the blue humanoid octopus.

This was one of the few opponents in the animated journey who managed to defeat Ash Ketchum, although most of the journey was turned into a lousy plot by the writers, when that lousy plot becomes reality, he could only accept it.

The Superpower User approached, not intending to snatch the victory, but rather to search for the presence of Gigantic Mushrooms—

He actually found them!

Only the Superpower User’s sudden approach garnered the attention of Bea and numerous Marokomon Group employees, who, before he could peacefully gather the items, stepped forth to drive him away citing nearby dangers.

Even though the location of the Gigantic Mushrooms was far from the battle site, and he explained his intentions.

The Superpower User, worried that things would be collected by them if he returned later, was unwilling but had no intention of conflicting with the Marokomon Group and obediently withdrew to the side waiting for Grapploct to defeat the Gigantamax Sandaconda.

[You looked at the Marokomon Group employees, dressed uniformly and heavily guarded, inexplicably reminded of Kanto’s evil organization, Rocket Team]

Linking to Rocket Team seems plausible.

Is it because these people are too domineering?

Baimu could understand the Superpower User’s frustration of seeing an item right in front yet unable to collect it, as for who discovered the Gigantamax Wild Pokémon and who gets all the byproducts... that’s a nonexistent rule.

Fortunately, Bea showed great prowess, quickly subduing the Gigantamax Sandaconda, and the Marokomon Group employees found a Wishing Star under its pit.

This kind of purposeful, apparently non-”official” action increasingly gives the Superpower User a déjà vu feeling of Rocket Team.

Kanto has suffered from Rocket Team for a long time!

[You stared at those people, thinking you should stay away from them, and happily, the Gigantic Mushroom was still there]

The delighted Superpower User quickly harvested all the nearby Gigantic Mushrooms, amounting to five, just enough to brew the first pot.

As for whether any other Pokémon subsequently Gigantamaxed, the Superpower User decided to address that in the future.

Preparing to make soup.

Baimu became interested, wanting to secretly learn a trick, but just as he was elaborating and eager to explain every move of the Superpower User, the narration suddenly ceased!

Silent?

It’s barely tolerable!

He watched the screen indignantly, seeing a pot of red soup emitting a red glow as if it were a game, poured into Orbeetle, causing the Superpower User to excitedly climb over two mountains to reach Inheritance Town.

[You arrived at Inheritance Town, a rural town that flourished due to ancient art]

Inheritance Town’s houses and arenas are in a gray-yellow desert style, familiar due to having lived in Pyrite Town, but clearly just an illusion, as the two places are worlds apart.

The Superpower User rushed toward Inheritage Arena, but no matter how rushed he was, the arena still required tickets, yielding a waiting time of three days.

In Baimu’s perspective, those seemingly brutal three days for the Superpower User were merely a few seconds to him.

Out and back in.

Entering equates to beginning.

The Superpower User and Bea locked eyes from across nearly a hundred meters, the latter effortlessly discerning that both had practiced fighting techniques, coupled with the information gathered, naturally feeling more apprehensive.

The chosen Pokémon by both sides were interesting, with the Superpower User selecting Orbeetle, and Bea choosing Hawlucha.

The former immediately Gigantamaxed, directing the exclusive Gigantic Technique [Gigantamax Celestial Dao Seven Stars] towards the opponent, with its aftereffect being to activate Gravity, partially targeting Bea’s adept Hawlucha who excelled in bouncing and pouncing.

Of course.

That’s if Hawlucha can withstand it.

With Orbeetle being focused on by the Superpower User and cultivated under the talents of the Elite System, its power gradually caught up with the other team members, and under such domination, it directly took out Hawlucha.

This shocked Bea, who then seriously swapped to the second — no, the second group of Pokémon, Falinks.

As formation Pokémon, they smartly chose to split up under the guidance of the leading Falinks, creating immense trouble for Orbeetle, who couldn’t land its Gigantic Techniques.

In the end, it was Superpower User’s cleverness that led Orbeetle to attack the leader, causing the Falinks to be defeated without a battle.

”Hmm... when the leader falls, don’t they immediately choose a new leader? So strange.” Baimu commented, soon witnessing the Gigantamax Orbeetle explode like a deflating balloon, collapsing.

Incapable of battling!?

What attacked it was Grapploct, the same fellow who took down the Gigantamax Sandaconda days before.

”Strong...”

Baimu lightly remarked, and his words matched the narration at the bottom almost exactly.
