Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 640: Chapter 49: Superpower User II

Change the region and start again.

The note inside says to have participated in at least one regional tournament.

Baimu naturally thought of that superpower user from the last simulation, and when he saw the selectable talents, he felt even more certain.

Selectable Talents:

[Elite System (Won’t capture too many Pokémon)]

[Superpower User (Possesses superpowers)]

[Unyielding (Will not abandon Pokémon)]

[Sentimental (Easily disturbed mindset)]

The last three are exactly the same as the superpower user’s selectable talents, only the first one changed from poor family background to the Elite System.

Now it’s a bit hard to choose...

He pursed his lips and suddenly wondered if he didn’t choose Superpower User, would the result be someone other than a superpower user?

Uh.

Forget it.

His excitement is still for the Superpower User’s superpowers. This [Superpower User] talent is white, but it’s estimated to be as rare as [Villain] talent.

Now there’s an orange talent for the first time. Blue talent at least gets you to the top eight, shouldn’t orange talent aim for the Celestial King or Champion?

Although the Galar Region doesn’t have Celestial Kings, the value of Gym Leaders is quite high, especially Raihan, officially claimed to be capable of being a champion in other regions.

Whether it’s exaggerated or not, based on Raihan’s performance in the World Championships in the animation, he’s definitely one of the top among Celestial Kings.

Opportunity knocks!

After careful consideration, Baimu chose one and two. Although not choosing three made him worry the superpower user might abandon Pokémon, he believed the Elite System would help with the final results.

If this simulation is of the same superpower user from last time, they must have captured many Pokémon after participating in at least one tournament, and starting from scratch like Ash Ketchum won’t do.

After all, not everyone can become the overall champion in World Championships with just six new ones like Ash Ketchum. The Elite System should effectively prevent that.

Of course.

If he misunderstood, there’s nothing more to say.

Baimu pressed start.

——

[Simulation Start]

The bright screen slowly unfolded, and a pixelated gigantic crimson arena appeared.

Inside the arena, two massive beasts with three rolling red clouds above their heads exchanged moves, red and yellow flames clashing with azure water, creating massive steam clouds spreading out in white pixelated clusters.

Even without background music, the vibrating screen brought a grand and majestic feeling.

[Gigantification].

It’s a unique phenomenon of the Galar Region, instantly stretching Pokémon from one to two meters to tens of meters, granting them extraordinary power—Gigantic Techniques.

Gigantification has been integrated into arena Pokémon battles, a result of Luozi promoting it as a selling point, indicating the simulation period is not far from the present, increasing the chances of the subject being a superpower user.

As Baimu pondered, the simulator camera panned to the audience, showing a pixelated figure in white beside a Hypno.

”So it is you!”

No doubt, he guessed it right.

But what’s worth complaining is, even Ash Ketchum changes clothes and hats when visiting other regions, yet the superpower user’s appearance is still their original look, not aligned with the sixth generation superpower user image.

Meanwhile, the narration appeared.

[At fifteen, you and your parents arrived in Wyndon in the Galar Region. Enthralled by the region’s unique Gigantification, you decided to stay and pursue your dream of becoming the strongest psychic attribute trainer.]

Fifteen... It’s been three years, so has he participated in three tournaments?

No.

Carefully calculating, he didn’t manage to enter the tournament the first year, so at most, he participated twice, maybe only once.

This is the orange talent?

Baimu couldn’t help but have a slight opinion about orange talent, but judging it before the plot unfolds isn’t good.

He continued watching the screen.

He saw the arena match conclude, and the superpower user bid farewell to his parents and quickly returned to the Pokémon League Headquarters in the Palace Gate Arena.

[You applied to the front desk staff to participate in the league battle, but they regretfully informed you that gym challenges in the Galar Region require a recommendation letter from Gym Leaders or Champions among others.]

Recommendation letter!

Just like in the game.

Baimu didn’t expect the Galar Alliance in the animation background to be like this, but he believed the superpower user should be capable of obtaining such a basic thing as a recommendation letter.

As he thought.

Upon hearing the need for a recommendation letter, the superpower user turned to leave the arena gate decisively, not to retreat, but boldly approached a pixelated figure in a gray suit with a CEO vibe, surrounded by reporters—Luozi.

[You asked Luozi, the Galar Alliance President, straight out for a recommendation letter, but he asked you a question—do you like the Galar Region?]

[You felt utterly bewildered, as you’d just arrived in the Galar Region and couldn’t say if you liked it or not; you didn’t even know how many major cities there were in Galar.]

Ellipses hovered above the superpower user’s head, probably because he didn’t know how to answer that question either.
