Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 612: Chapter 435: The Power of Secret

Kili, the expert of super secret bases.

Baimu had a vague impression of this person, but he had a hard time remembering the specific details. It should be related to some game content about secret bases.

”Which kind of secret base are you referring to?”

He asked.

Kili saw that he was hooked, chuckled to himself, and invited him to crawl into the low tree hole together, ”Why not see for yourself? It won’t disappoint you!”

...This guy actually looks quite handsome, but why does his smile look so creepy?

If it weren’t for Blissey and other Pokémon with him and his impression of Kili, and the Gym not being far away, Baimu wouldn’t dare to crawl into such a suspicious tree hole so casually.

The most carefree Brother Dragapult was the first to climb in and exclaimed excitedly inside.

Sister Dragapult followed closely behind, also making sounds of amazement.

Baimu bent down at Kili’s smiling ”please,” and cautiously stuck his head into the tree hole. He originally thought it would be very dark inside, but it turned out to be bright with various lamps hanging everywhere.

The place was quite cozy, filled with various toys and small furniture, and in the corner lay a Flygon with its wings folded, presumably Kili’s partner.

The problem was the space inside...

He quietly withdrew and walked around the tree under Kili’s knowing expression, then returned to the starting point and asked, ”Why is the interior space so much bigger than the outside?”

If his sense of space was correct, the secret base inside the tree hole was at least a few dozen square meters, but this tree was only big enough for four or five people to circle around, and even if it was completely hollowed out, the inside wouldn’t be this large.

”That’s the amazing thing about super secret bases! I don’t reveal this to just anyone!”

Kili proudly put his hands on his hips and then urged, ”Hurry inside, it’s so damp outside, we can have a chat by the fire inside!”

Fire by the way!

”Alright.”

After a brief thought, Baimu nodded and bent down to enter the secret base.

Blissey followed him but got stuck at the entrance due to its round shape, its expression visibly embarrassed and ashamed, ”Ha, happy!”

It flushed red, pushing against the inner walls with its little hands, shaking its head vigorously to try squeezing through, even tightening its chin with effort.

But unfortunately, it could only get halfway in.

”Sorry for the trouble.”

Baimu quickly recalled it into the Pokeball and then released it again; once Blissey was back on the ground, it sighed in relief.

Not far away, the Dreepy Siblings were happily playing with two big rubber balls, seemingly very fond of this secret base.

Kili was the last to enter and pulled down the green curtain at the entrance.

”Sit! Sit! Anywhere you like!”

He cheerfully asked, ”Are you interested in learning a trick from me? It’s incredibly useful for traveling!”

”Of course I’m interested, but are you planning to teach for a fee,”

Baimu found a place to sit and asked, ”or for free?”

”Hahaha! Have I been exposed?”

Kili laughed, not looking the least bit embarrassed, ”But don’t you think it’s normal to charge a fee? After all, the move Secret Power is so great!”

He spread his arms wide, exuding confidence.

”I also work as a globe-trotting traveler; you know travel can be very costly, so earning through teaching Secret Power is reasonable, right?”

”Reasonable, but there’s another question, with so many people out there, why choose me? Do you think I’m easier to lure in?” Baimu looked at him curiously.

Kili shook his head, ”Not at all; mainly I happened to see you on TV, you’re quite a celebrity, aren’t you? Coordinator Trainer Baimu, right?”

Baimu: ”...Yes.”

Television again!

The TV industry seems quite thriving these days; he remembered Bonnie had also seen him on TV before.

Nevertheless, he was indeed interested in Secret Power as it could improve his travel comfort, and it’s far more intriguing than just pitching a tent.

Primarily, it could shelter him from wind and rain, a significant inconvenience when camping.

Although he had prepared a large rain cover, it wasn’t very convenient after all.

Kili saw his interest and seized the opportunity, ”Rest assured! I never overcharge! How those Skill Masters charge is how I charge!”

Skill Masters, who possess methods to learn powerful moves, borrow Pokémon from other Trainers for training, and return them after they’ve learned.

Ash Ketchum’s many Pokémon have learned moves from such people, like Swellow with Swallow Return, Gible with Meteor Shower, and so on.

”Then I’ll trouble you.”

Baimu stood, glancing through a deliberately crafted opening at the sky outside, ”But it’s too late today; how about waiting till tomorrow morning?”

Kili replied enthusiastically, ”Of course!”

As they parted, Baimu nearly felt the eager gaze from this fellow’s eyes, possibly indicating his pocket was a bit tight.

But creating a super secret base and decorating it with various interesting elements must have cost quite a bit.

Returning to the Tree House Hotel.

Baimu first searched for Dragapult, confirmed it was curled up in a wall corner and hadn’t run away, and then started to decide which Pokémon would battle in tomorrow’s Gym Battle.

When considering Gym Battle strategies, he had to factor in both Attribute Compatibility and recent appearances.

Facing the eager eyes of his Pokémon, he nodded to himself, ”I’ve made my decision.”
