Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 610: Chapter 434: TV Interview

”Superpower, huh...”

The excitement only lasted for a short while.

Calming down, Baimu turned off the simulator and went out to sign up.

The superpowers in the Pokémon World may require learning and mastery later, but in fact, they are powers that only those with innate talent can grasp.

So if one doesn’t have this talent, even if the simulator provides memories of learning superpowers from a simulated subject, it would probably be useless...

Use it for practicing Dragon’s Heart?

Perhaps it’s feasible.

But the next round of simulation is at least five days away, and if there are fewer battles, the cooldown time would be longer.

Need to have more roadside battles with people.

Baimu thought to himself, walking with Blissey on the suspension bridges between trees, each with a Dreepy perched on their heads, often drawing curious glances from passersby.

The unique environment of Verdanturf City results in very few wide main roads causing inconvenience for vehicles, so most of the time, residents use cable cars set up between trees for quick travel.

Moreover, Flying Pokémon are not banned in the city, as long as they fly above a certain height and have a flying license.

Therefore, when he looked up, he could always see large birds carrying Trainers flying over the shaded tree crowns, some in neat formation, others scattered around.

Didn’t walk far.

Someone came up requesting a battle.

Baimu gladly agreed and planned to give Dragapult a chance to perform, but after looking around and inquiring with Brother Dragapult, he found out this guy didn’t even come out of his room, so he let it go.

”It’s up to you.”

He picked up Sister Dragapult from Blissey’s head and placed it on his own.

”Happy!”

Blissey nodded excitedly; it hadn’t battled anyone in a few days and thought it must perform well to be eligible for the Gym Battle.

Due to environmental influence, there are indeed few battlefields in Verdanturf City, so Trainers often just find a spot where they won’t disturb others and start battles there.

Baimu didn’t fuss about the location, starting a battle with the unfamiliar Trainer swiftly on the spot.

”Go!”

”Happy!”

Blissey took a step forward, and its eyes no longer showed past timidity and cowardice; overcoming its mental weaknesses brought a tremendous change.

Yet, the one thing that remains unchanged is that Blissey still has a sincere and kind heart, caring for all those it needs to look after.

”Blissey? Heh heh heh—go! Dodrio!”

The unfamiliar Trainer proudly tossed out a Pokéball.

”Dodri!” ”Dod!” ”Dodri!”

A Pokémon with an ostrich-like body but three heads appeared, and its cries were incredibly noisy, with legs as thin as twigs that seemed like they would break with a snap.

But Baimu knew that excellent individuals among these guys could run at a speed of sixty kilometers per hour on the prairie on their legs.

Not to be underestimated.

”My name is Shouta! Destined to become the greatest Flying-type Pokémon Trainer in the world!”

The unfamiliar Trainer boasted, ”Don’t blame me for not warning you! I’ve learned from Miss Naqi on how to nurture Flying-type Pokémon!!”

”Angel’s Kiss.”

Baimu, as always, didn’t engage in idle talk.

Blissey placed its little hand by its mouth, shyly giving a kiss to the air, and several giant red hearts immediately appeared and flew towards the position of the opponent Dodrio.

”Ah! You’re sneaking an attack!”

Shouta exclaimed, then issued a command, ”Dodrio, jump! Lightning Flash!”

”Dodri—”

Dodrio’s reaction was swift; its three heads stared at the incoming hearts and leapt mightily, bouncing in place to a height of over ten meters!

What an exaggerated bouncing power!

And what was even more astounding was that the guy followed a parabolic trajectory to land on a nearby tree, its sharp claws deeply embedded in the trunk, supporting its not-so-heavy body, then began sprinting along the tree trunk.

Amidst the crisp sound of clatter, a long white light trailed behind it as it ran all the way to the tree trunk behind Blissey and Baimu.

”Triple Attack!”

”Dodri!”

Dodrio’s three heads turned around in unison, its slender necks easily adjusting direction.

Meanwhile, the three long, thin bird beaks opened, and red, green, and blue lights shifted from dim to bright at their mouths, firing off in rays that pierced the air straight towards Blissey.

Baimu, holding the excited Dreepy siblings on his head, quickly moved to Blissey’s side, ”Strong Mental Will! Push it back!”

”Happy!”

Blissey turned around, raised its small hands, and its eyes, covered by pale blue light, with Spiritual Power like a tidal wave collided with the incoming three beams mid-air!

Buzz!!

The light was dazzling!

The sinister places in the forest were all covered by the powerful light from the skill clash, followed by a muffled explosion sound and the spread of smoke.

Not far off, Shouta laughed heartily while Baimu and Blissey exchanged glances with varied expressions.

Casual roadside battles truly shouldn’t expect too much from the opponent’s strength...

”Try again with Strong Mental Will.”

He waved his hand.

Blissey raised its little hands again, gathering Spiritual Power and transforming it into invisible waves like the sea, pulsating through the air forward, piercing through the smoke in an instant.

But Dodrio had already jumped onto another tree and was stepping higher, making an intense ”taptaptap” sound, as though a woodpecker pecking at a tree trunk.

In roadside battles where the field environment and range aren’t restricted, such behavior barely considered ”reasonable.”

And what it wanted to do was very clear.
