Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 644: Chapter 451: Kanto Shock

The superpower user who successfully defeated Yalo gained a certain degree of fame.

[You were surrounded by countless battle enthusiasts when you left the house, feeling a bit flustered upon hearing their praises.]

At the entrance of Turffield Arena.

The superpower user was surrounded by many people, looking somewhat flustered, with various sweat-drop expressions constantly flying over his head.

And without a doubt.

This is the result of Galar Region’s love for Pokémon battles, and the Marokomon Group’s behind-the-scenes efforts.

Using Pokémon battle leagues as a foundation, promoting Gigantification as a selling point to stimulate the local economy, turning Gym Leaders from local leaders into ”Club” players, President Luozi skillfully creates star trainers.

But the superpower user can’t handle this.

Only to see the pixelated little figure suddenly flicker and disappear from the scene, leaving behind a bewildered and chaotic crowd.

A magical disappearing act!

As the simulator’s screen moved, the narrator explained the situation unfolding in the image.

[You were forced to use Instant Movement to escape the scene, but unexpectedly, your superpowers became widely known because of this.]

On the screen, the superpower user cautiously crawled out from the grass with his injured Pokémon and headed to the Pokémon Center.

Wow!

Even Instant Movement?

Baimu was a bit surprised, remembering the animation where only Nazi and her father used Instant Movement, and now superpower users have mastered such advanced techniques.

[The foundation provided by ”Changing districts and starting anew” is truly deep!]

Thinking about the previous battle, even though Yalo did not use his strongest Pokémon, Appletun is at least one of his main Pokémon, suggesting that the superpower user’s strength might be greater than Baimu imagined.

It’s known that Gym Leaders in the Galar Region also compete fiercely, and if one’s powers aren’t sufficient, their Gym Leader status will soon be revoked.

Thus, despite Yalo’s appearance as a grass-attribute Gym Leader seeming mediocre, in fact, he is one of the nine strongest in the Galar Region.

Hmm...

Thinking this way, the result of this simulation becomes quite intriguing.

Baimu cleared his mind of distractions and continued watching the simulator’s contents on the screen.

The superpower user, after ”escaping” from Turffield Town, did not hurry to the second Gym located in Hulbury Town but instead took a car to Wedgehurst Town, where he located the Pokémon Research Institute.

[You heard from passersby that Dr. Mulan was researching Gigantification here, hoping to gather detailed information from her.]

The battle at Turffield Arena made the superpower user realize that Gigantification is not only about physical enlargement. He originally wanted to consult Yalo, the Gym Leader, but unfortunately, couldn’t find him—word had it he was busy herding outside the town.

The superpower user, with guidance from others, came to Wedgehurst Town to find Dr. Mulan.

His luck was good; Dr. Mulan happened to be home. However, the superpower user hesitated for a long time before knocking, leaving Baimu puzzled.

[You look at the research institute’s door, carefully pondering how to express your intent and communicate with Dr. Mulan. Half an hour later, you knock and enter.]

What a ghostly act?!

Hesitating at the doorway for half an hour?

Baimu couldn’t help but sweat, thinking back to when the superpower user promptly sought a recommendation letter, leading Baimu to believe that three years later, the timid child who envied peers playing together had grown.

Unexpectedly, the lack of face-to-face communication skills persisted.

He recalls from the previous simulation, where the superpower user spent a long time just figuring out how to communicate with Pokémon Center staff; three years later, no difference?

Where’s your prior courage? Bring forth your previous courage!

But fortunately, Dr. Mulan continued the tradition of all doctors, kindly instructing the superpower user about Gigantification’s foundational aspects, and generously shared the knowledge he wished to learn.

[Through consulting with Dr. Mulan, you grasped the basic knowledge of Gigantification.]

Satisfied, the superpower user took a car back to Turffield Town and followed the map along Route 5, attempting to challenge the second Gym in Hulbury Town in the east.

Outdoors.

[You encountered a passing trainer requesting a Pokémon battle.]

As the Galar citizens cherish Pokémon battles, the wild trainers here are numerous, which leads to roadside battles being much more frequent than in other regions.

The superpower user naturally wouldn’t fear these encounters and decisively showcased the prowess of his Pokémon.

For example, Hypno’s signature skill, pressing the opponent into the ground with ”Hypnotic Fist”; Starmie uses tentacles to lock the opponent’s joints, preventing escape and ensuring zero-gap attacks to avoid repeated misses like a certain Lapras with ”Locking Technique Water Cannon”; and Slowking calmly uses Strong Mental Will to deflect opponent’s attacks, waits until they’re close to remove its nut from its head, and fiercely fights with ”Spiritual Blade.”

Giving Galar Region’s trainers a taste of Kanto Region’s distinct style.

Providing them a slight ”Kanto shock.”

Apparently, as a new member, Orbeetle must be deeply impressed by his companions, though it’s unclear whether it can learn such advanced techniques.

Screen transitions.

Finally.

The superpower user, passing obstacles along the way, reached the destination.
