Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 617: Chapter 437: Is the Hall Master Cheating!? (Part 2)

Naqi’s expression rapidly changed, ”Quick, use Metal Sound to suppress it!”

”Aiyah!”

The Skarmory that had just pulled out one of its claws promptly opened its mouth, and the low-frequency, pale blue sound waves spread forward in a fan shape, heading directly towards the incoming Milotic.

However, the latter’s figure was like a phantom, directly lowering its body to the lowest point in the face of the pale blue sound waves, instantly dodging the sweeping Metal Sound, and arriving within a few meters of the Skarmory.

Countless rays of light condensed around it, transforming into shimmering Electric Light Balls that subtly circled around.

”Miko!”

Milotic shouted loudly, and the Thunderbolt Ball spun forward, shooting like a cannonball!

The half-bird claw that was still stuck in the ice made it difficult for Skarmory to evade and was hit continually by the Thunderbolt Ball, causing its steel-like body to twitch crazily.

Naqi clenched her fists and shouted, ”Use Steel Wings to smash the ground and guide the current down!”

”Aiyah——”

Skarmory forcefully endured the torment of paralysis, its left wing suddenly lit up with a metallic sheen and smashed into the ground, and with the cracking of the ice surface, its expression quickly softened, as if the awakened power of the electric current no longer had any effect.

Surprised exclamations erupted all around.

They usually rarely saw such a sly maneuver, let alone actually seeing it executed!

Shouta and Lai He had seen it all before, and evidently, they were used to similar scenes – guiding currents into the ground was just basic operation to them.

So this can actually work?

Baimu furrowed his brows deeply, suddenly recalling that this move was Naqi’s specialty trick, using wings to pose as a ”ground wire” to guide electric currents, significantly reducing the damage received.

Ash Ketchum’s Pikachu nearly fell to this deadly technique once, finally taking advantage of the moment when Pelipper’s wing, using Steel Wings to touch the ground, detached from it, barely managing to go down together.

Unexpectedly, after multiple defenses, he still fell for it.

The key is Skarmory’s true resistance to electric currents! Generally, weak Electric Pokémon become paralyzed to the point that they cannot move, only recovering the ability to freely move once the current ends.

Unlike it, which can stubbornly execute the move, no wonder its size is so much larger than a normal Skarmory!

But fortunately, Milotic had already closed the distance to Skarmory, even less than two meters away.

It’s time!

”End it! Blizzard!”

”Not good! Skarmory, dodge quickly!”

Baimu and Naqi’s shouts almost erupted simultaneously, but Skarmory’s actions were slower than the altered-color Milotic by a fraction, thus it could only watch helplessly as the blizzard flurry surged forth!

Rumble——!!

The overwhelmingly white torrent resembled a crashing iceberg!

Skarmory desperately tried to move, but at such close proximity, it couldn’t dodge, and the ice and snow covering its body became thicker and thicker, until its entire body was frozen into an immovable ice sculpture.

The situation rapidly changed within a few seconds, something almost no one anticipated, just as they hadn’t anticipated that Skarmory would perfectly block Mawile’s attack, forcing it off the field.

”Crush it!”

”Miko!”

Without hesitation, Milotic twisted its form, swinging its glamorous golden long tail!

Boom!

The ice and snow shattered.

Skarmory fell rigidly to the ground with a crisp ping-pong sound, even sliding out a short distance.

”Skarmory is incapable of battling! Mi-Milotic wins!”

Lai He’s voice rang out, and only then did the staff reluctantly shift the camera away.

It must be said that this Milotic’s charm was too great, in their eyes, it seemed even more beautiful than Mikoli’s Milotic.

Hence the camera stayed locked on it.

Some of Baimu’s fans were still whispering.

”From the Fallarbor Conference finals?”

”It must be!”

”So beautiful, woohoo! Even prettier than in the video, I really want to go up and touch it!”

”Your expression is too exaggerated, but I also want to touch it; if I could, I wouldn’t want to wash my hand for at least a day.”

Not far away, Shouta fell into shock, stunned without recovering.

Especially seeing Baimu giving Milotic commands, instructing it to gather Water Rings to heal its wounds.

Miss Naqi...

Seems like most of the time she’s being pressured?

Even though Skarmory seemed to have forced Mawile off the field, the latter didn’t really suffer much damage, whereas Naqi’s side lost two Grand Generals already!

Moreover, gravity—

”The gravity state seems to have ended.”

Naqi didn’t seem to care about her two Pokémon being taken down, smiling brightly at Baimu, ”Lord Baimu, do you know what’s most important for a Trainer skilled at nurturing flying Pokémon?”

”What?”

”The freedom to fly!”

She threw a Pokeball, ”This time I won’t let you easily use it! Go! Swellow!”

Bang!

A flash of white light.

An altered-color Swellow with green back feathers and orange chest feathers soared into the air above the field!

”Siba!”

The altered-color Swellow let out a loud cry, preparing to send an intimidating call to Milotic below, but it realized that at some unknown point, numerous sharp fluorescent rocks quietly appeared around it, erupting like hand grenades and shooting out countless rock fragments!

Bang bang bang!

Invisible Rock triggered for the second time!

Unfortunately, amidst the swirling smoke, Swellow came out in high spirits, just like Skarmory, not too affected by Invisible Rock despite clearly being of Flying Attribute.

The single-player divine skill in the game seemed to fall to this level...

Baimu could only say the actual situation was quite off, fortunately not relying on Invisible Rock for much output, and interfering a bit was good.

”Frozen Beam!”

”Miko!”

Milotic raised its head, the icy blue lightning streaked across the sky but failed to hit the extremely agile Swellow.

This guy’s evasion speed and reaction ability were much quicker than the previous two, though this was likely because it was flying in the sky, unlike Skarmory that had no evasion margin.

”Swallow Return!”

Naqi’s voice was loud, as Swellow swooped towards Milotic, with streams of air trailing behind it in gathering white waves!

Altered color versus altered color!

The broadcaster’s eyes lit up, hastily gesturing to those nearby, ”Quick, quick, quick! Close-up, close-up!”

But Baimu didn’t give him that opportunity.

”White Mist!”

”Miko~”

Milotic lowered its head and sprayed a large amount of white mist, the mist instantly affected Swellow’s vision, compelling it to fly higher when it intended to dive back down.

And it didn’t descend immediately.

”Siba!”

Swellow looked down on the white mist below that was scattered by its charge and then gathered immediately, appearing lost.

Naqi gave it a hint, ”Clear Dense Fog!”

”Siba!”

The altered-color Swellow’s eyes shone, its wide wings began to flap swiftly, and the sky-blue gale blew through below, dispersing the white mist around Milotic.

And also the invisible rocks hidden in the air, which revealed and crumbled under the assault of Flying Attribute Energy.

This discovery delighted the altered-color Swellow.

But it’s evident that deploying a skill, especially when summoning a gale, its evasion capabilities plummet.

The moment the white mist was blown away, the altered-color Swellow saw the altered-color Milotic’s eyes engulfed in blue light, an invisible ripple brewing.

”Hypnosis Techniques!”

Pink spiritual ripples surged upwards like shockwaves!

”Siba!?”

”Quick, dodge!”

Swellow and Naqi shouted simultaneously, but clearly, the former reacted too late, enveloped by the hypnosis ripples expanding into a diameter of several meters.

It slightly widened its eyes, very straightforwardly plummeting from the sky.

Plop.

Swellow landed on the ground, eyes shut tight, sleeping soundly, leaving the television crew dumbstruck, almost unable to believe their eyes.

In less than three minutes since the start, the winner seemed already revealed?

Is the third about to be taken down so easily!?
