Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 609: Chapter 433: Quartz Exam Paper_3

Meanwhile.

[Your Drowzee has evolved into Hypno]

It seems that the long-term accumulation finally led to Drowzee’s transformation, and at this point, there was less than a month left until the Quartz Conference opened.

The Superpower User had to set off to the Pokémon Alliance certification center to register.

The scene shifts.

The Superpower User arrives in front of a massive building.

[You have arrived at the Pokémon Alliance certification center, and here you see many young people like you who aren’t in the best health, as well as many elderly people, office workers, and others. The staff member receiving you is a burly giant, and you feel very envious of this]

Baimu remembers the content of the certification exam as being utterly ridiculous.

He’s not sure if the simulation will provide a view—

As it turns out.

It does.

[You enter the exam hall, participating in the exam with three hundred candidates, and soon you encounter the first major part of the written test — image-based judgment questions]

The Superpower User sits in front of a computer, and the simulator very kindly shifts the perspective to behind him, still in pixel view, of course.

[Question one: There’s always one cracked egg in Exeggcute, true or false]

[Question two: Rhydon can survive in 2000-degree lava, true or false]

[Question three: Abra can only perform Instant Movement, true or false]

[Question four: Weezing consists of three gas-emitting bodies, true or false]

...

”All of these are related to the first generation Pokémon, it seems like there’s nothing from the Johto region, since it’s the Kanto Quartz Conference, are they only focusing on the Kanto material?”

At first glance, Baimu noticed that he couldn’t answer many of these judgment questions because they were asked in such a tricky manner, like they were nitpicking, requiring Trainers to know every inch of Pokémon.

The second stage of the written test — [Shape Analysis] was the same, taking a photo of a Pokémon from a deadly angle and then telling you it’s actually another one.

For example, the outer shape might look like an Oddish, and it seems like an Oddish, but it’s actually a Geodude crouched in the grass.

Especially infuriating.

Unexpectedly, the Superpower User’s written test scores seemed quite good; it seems those months of studying weren’t in vain.

However, after the written test, his weak point came.

[Pokémon Battle].

The Superpower User has hardly participated in Pokémon battles, and his frail physical condition isn’t enough to support him training Pokémon day and night to enhance practical experience, resulting in his crushing defeat in the third round of battles by the examiner.

Even though he used the examiner’s Pokémon and not Hypno or the others.

And just like that, the exam was over.

[You look at the words indicating your exam failure, feeling a bit dejected, but Hypno and the others comfort you, suggesting it’s fine to accumulate experience this year and next year start anew with Gym challenges]

[You agree]

Simulation ends.

The four large words clearly visible on the screen.

”Huh? Huh???” Baimu was stunned, standing there dumbfounded.

Simulation over?

Oh right, the Alliance Conference isn’t participating this year, so it ends...

That’s not fair! Feels like I didn’t see anything!

It just ended suddenly!

His brows furrowed into a knot, feeling somewhat uncomfortable as he opened the rewards.

[Choose reward one: Any Pokémon level up by one (below lv.30)]

[Choose reward two: Clues for obtainable Pokémon]

[Choose reward three: Move — Illusion Beam (choose a Pokémon to learn)]

[Choose reward four: Retain the [Superpower User] talent for the next simulation]

Oh!

Oh oh oh!

Choose reward four! You finally came through! The Superpower User remains!

Just a moment ago feeling very annoyed, Baimu suddenly became excited.

Because the next simulation is Blue Talent Simulation! This Superpower User talent might just help him grasp psychic abilities!
