Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 614: Chapter 436: The Battle of Yin Yu

Now.

Anyone who has paid attention to the Gorgeous Competition cannot possibly have not heard the name Baimu.

Competing three times and winning three times, he has received multiple praises from Master Mikoli just from match recordings, and his match highlights are still popular on many video websites.

All sorts of reasons, it’s no wonder the TV station staff are so surprised. There are even one or two of his fans among them!

The director, looking at Baimu who was seated calmly at the challenger’s seat, felt a slight excitement inside.

Originally just here to shoot a routine short clip, unexpectedly caught a big fish!

Once it’s finished, cutting out a small segment for the trailer, won’t it be trending in the evening!?

In the arena.

The battle is imminent.

Naqi suddenly crouched down, sincerely intertwining her hands and placing them on her chest, and loudly said:

”Great sky, please grant me wings, please grant me the strong power to stand firm in the fierce wind. Then, guide us in the vast blue world!”

A prayer?

Baimu wasn’t very sure what she was doing, but he could catch a glimpse of the TV station people filming her with great excitement, and the spectator Shouta was equally excited beyond measure.

He seemed to vaguely hear the staff conversing below.

”Miss Naqi’s sky prayer is really captivating.”

”Indeed, why else would she be called the ’Pokémon Trainer who Soars in the World’!”

Sky prayer?

Should be some kind of personal special ceremony, similar to a declaration before the battle.

According to what Baimu knows, Naqi doesn’t possess any superpowers, her specialty is being able to read the direction of the wind, using it to accelerate the Pokémon’s flying speed and conserve their energy.

It’s equivalent to her Pokémon having an intrinsic With the Wind effect.

”Sorry to keep you waiting.”

Naqi stood up, her entire being glowing after the prayer, with a confident smile on her face, standing tall like a pine tree, ”I’ve read your information, all the Hall Masters speak highly of you, which is quite rare.”

Though several cameras were focused on her face, she seemed accustomed to ignoring them completely, her gaze unwaveringly fixed on Baimu across from her.

The director, hearing her words, excitedly instructed the cameramen to give both of them a close-up.

The emerging star of the Gorgeous Competition, Baimu, possesses exceptionally strong talent in the Battle Arena?

Editing this Gym Battle into the program would certainly skyrocket the ratings!

Fantastic, fantastic!

Unfortunately, Baimu clearly had little interest in engaging in conversation, and merely nodded slightly in response to the compliment.

”...You flatter me.”

”Oh, in that case...”

Seeing this, Naqi said no more, decisively throwing forward a Pokeball.

”Come out, Pelipper!”

Bang!

The light flickered.

”Pelipper!”

The Pelipper with a yellow beak occupying two-thirds of its body appeared, and immediately a rumbling sound came from the sky, as the sunny day quickly became shrouded by thin clouds.

Drizzling rain fell from the sky.

[Rain] Trait!

The Blissey that emerged from the Pokeball sensed the cooling air and was filled with vigorous fighting spirit.

”Happy~”

The rain, as thin as ox’s hair, soon formed numerous droplets on its fluffy exterior, leaving thin, wet marks.

Serving as the referee, Lai He quickly raised the green and red flags, shouting loudly:

”The match begins!”

”Pelipper! Dive rapidly!”

”Gravity!”

Naqi and Baimu almost simultaneously issued commands, and the two Pokémon reacted accordingly.

The first to act was Pelipper, gliding through the air as it smoothly charged toward Blissey, its wings barely flapping, yet its speed remarkably fast.

However, in the next instant.

An invisible force transformed the field, descending like a mountain from the sky, crushing down on it, knocking it from the air!

”Pelipper!”

The grounded Pelipper let out a cry of pain; Gravity is a nightmare move for bird Pokémon, once effective, it deprives them of most of their mobility.

Naqi appeared slightly surprised.

”Even Gravity? Impressive!”

She wasn’t flustered at all, extending her index finger as though sensing something, murmuring: ”Today’s wind is very gentle~ Surf!”

”Pelipper!”

Pelipper, unable to fly, quickly adjusted its state, seemingly unaffected, its eyes suddenly sharpened, beneath it surged a blue stream of water, like a fountain, lifting it high before it crashed down forcefully!

Boom!

The blue waves surged, under the boost of the rainy day, mightily crashing toward Blissey!

”Happy~”

Blissey’s expression didn’t change; at some point, numerous sharp glowing rocks had gathered in front of it, flying around like floating cannons, and mysteriously disappearing.

[Invisible Rock].

As the wave arrived, it stood there, enduring the onslaught of the tide, the pain flashing across its face momentarily.

But that’s all it was.

For it, a top-tier special shield, Pelipper’s rainy day surfing merely had considerable power, far from the point of causing serious harm.

Naqi couldn’t help but praise:

”Quite outstanding resilience, and these complex transformation techniques, truly well cultivated!”

Baimu still didn’t respond, merely issuing a command.

”Lay an egg.”

”Happy!”

Blissey placed its small hands on the egg in its belly, a white light lit up from the round egg, then transformed into a green light enveloping its whole body.

The damage and fatigue from surfing instantly vanished without a trace.
