Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 197: Chapter 194: Simulated Uncle

Baimu intended to leave in a sufficiently low-key manner.

However, the members of the Rainbow Team didn’t give him the chance, forcefully gathering a huge team to send him off over a long eighteen miles.

Especially Cheng Hong and Otsuka among others, who cried while seeing him off, making the atmosphere particularly awkward and unlucky—those who understood knew they were sending off the boss, but those who didn’t might think some elderly person from their family had passed away!

Angry, Baimu gave each of them a slap on the head.

On the other side.

Due to the hard work over the past half month, Chansey had won the affection of numerous Miss Joys and Pokémon Nurses, so when leaving, they also came to bid farewell to Chansey.

This moved the latter immensely, and she waved continuously to her former colleagues.

”Lucky~”

”Let’s go.”

Baimu patted its head, exchanged a smile with N in the crowd, and waved goodbye to everyone in Pyrite Town.

The territory of Aggron was left to N for management; the former had a natural affection for the latter’s Pokémon offspring and trusted him to manage it properly.

Of course, the most important thing was the trainer’s recognition.

Baimu felt that if N could handle it well, Aggron naturally had no objections.

At the same time, Aggron also knew that the promise between the trainer and N wasn’t just about caring for the territory, but about helping him manage other Pokémon that he couldn’t handle.

To this, he simply wanted to express——

Capture more Grass-type Pokémon.

This half month’s toil made the big monster understand that Grass-type Pokémon are like gods to plants, essential for seeing green mountains and clear waters.

Baimu got in the car, and the driver surprised him for a moment.

”Terry!”

”Hey! It was me who sent you to the charity event once, and it’s me sending you away from Ore again this time!” The burly female driver Terry laughed heartily.

Though she and Ayana belonged to the Rainbow Team and hadn’t done anything that incited public anger in the past, they still considered themselves half penitents, usually not allowed to leave areas near Pyrite Town.

”Then you better drive steadily.”

Baimu sat in the back seat, the car arranged by Flop, presumably because something needed Terry to go to Jinqing Port.

”Rest assured in my driving skills!”

Terry stepped on the gas pedal, and the car headed towards Jinqing Port.

And as the Rainbow Team members at the entrance of Pyrite Town saw Baimu leave, they disbanded on the spot and went about their business.

Baimu looked at the monotonous scenery outside the window and opened the simulator.

It had been almost a month since he last had a simulation with the Double Blue Talent of a calligrapher.

During the past month, due to many affairs, he couldn’t enjoy the simulation plot properly, and the three ordinary simulations were mostly hurried through.

The harvest was naturally no different from the past, or even worse. Only two simulated subjects obtained eight badges, finally providing him with a third-level reward at limited lv.50, while the remaining one gave an upgrade to lv.30.

In terms of moves, it was somewhat better; there were [Electromagnetic Wave], [Curse], and [Kick Down], barely making a profit.

Now.

The fourth Blue simulation began.

Taking advantage of the somewhat monotonous ride, he planned to finish watching it.

Upfront, the bored Terry chatted with him while driving, and Baimu responded casually, opening a book to slowly operate.

[Choose your birthplace▽]

He pondered for a moment, choosing Johto.

Sinnoh, Kanto, and Carlos had all undergone Blue simulation before, so instead of continuing to repeat, he might as well experience the Blue Talent of all regions.

Clicked on gender.

Last time was female, this time naturally male.

Clicked on Pokémon.

After so many simulations, Baimu knew very well that Pokémon would influence talent to some extent; if he chose a specific Pokémon instead of random, the range for simulating subjects would greatly narrow down.

However.

Does the simulator only include reality-based characters?

Could there be fictional ones or from parallel worlds? Otherwise, at the current speed, he wouldn’t be able to simulate many trainers ranked ahead in those tournaments before finishing them.

While Baimu was thinking, the Pokémon column showed nothing.

Huh?

No Pokémon?

This situation startled him, and then he realized last time the simulated subject didn’t even get eight badges, so there’s no reward Pokémon.

Oh boy, massively increased uncertainty.

Baimu continued to click on talents.

Fixed talent:

[Maternal Aura (Good at Taking Care of Young Pokémon)]

Optional talents:

[Physically Strong (Very Healthy)]

[One-Man Army (Will Capture Many Pokémon)]

[Appearance Reflects the Heart (Attracts Pokémon Matching Beauty)]

[☆Three-word Truth (Stand Up Hold On Quickly Dodge)]

Oh my... What kind of talent combination is this?

Looking at the fixed talent and then at the optional talents, Baimu was quite baffled.

Baby team competing in tournaments?

He couldn’t help but think of taking a pre-evolution stage to face off against Ash Ketchum’s fully evolved one, coupled with this Three-word Truth Blue Talent...

It must be some grandmaster mastering the Three-word Truth.

Baimu chose [Physically Strong] and [Three-word Truth], silently starting the simulation.

A light screen unfolded.

——

[Simulation Starts]

Under pixel style, Baimu saw a meadow.

Numerous free-spirited Pokémon inhabited the meadow, either grazing on fresh grass or frolicking without worries.

As the shot pulled upwards, many houses appeared before him.

Only then did Baimu realize it was a ranch, specializing in raising various Pokémon.

A female pixel figure, dressed as a cowboy, ran out of a house with a Ponyta, with an explosion bubble appearing above her head.

『I hate Dad the most!!!』

The text flickered and disappeared, the pixel figure rode the Ponyta and ran far, even running straight out of the ranch.

No way... another beginning of running away from home or quarreling with family?

Baimu tugged at the corner of his mouth, thinking of a chef who fell out with family, a calligrapher expelled from home to reflect, now another ranch girl running away?

What’s the deal? Is the only obstacle in an adventure one’s own family?

Wait, I chose male!

Just as he was puzzled, the scene didn’t follow the female pixel figure but suddenly shifted to inside a house.

The interior was very cozy yet simple, with two pixel figures who appeared quite elderly, one burly and the other slender, sitting at the dining table, whispering about something.

At this point, a narrator appeared.

[At thirty-seven, you had a fierce argument with your daughter returning from school; she said other fathers have participated in tournaments, why haven’t you?]

[You wanted to tell her you were a breeder, inherited the ranch from your grandfather, and gave up becoming a trainer for the sake of family. But your daughter thought you were a coward, afraid to participate in tournaments, always making excuses]

[You watched your daughter run out crying, feeling very helpless]

Wait.

Age? Thirty-seven?

Baimu rubbed his eyes, nearly thinking the simulator’s protagonist was that ”girl,” but it turned out to be Uncle Ranch!
