Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 176: Chapter 173: Utopian Nation (41/52)

After a round of conversation.

Babina and Helena fell into silence.

Baimu looked at the two of them with some apprehension. Although these two were not as radical as N, they were also steadfast Pokémon Relievers, having protected countless injured Pokémon.

”I see, this area also has similar technology...”

Babina with pink hair sighed softly.

”It’s nothing new for people with ill intentions to covet the power of Pokémon.”

Helena, with her rabbit-ear hairstyle, was much calmer, ”But in this world, there are just as many people who truly love Pokémon and value their bonds.”

She slightly lowered her head, expressing her gratitude to Baimu, ”Thank you very much for telling us about this. However, you personally informing N about this matter will be more effective than us relaying it.”

”Yes, please.” Babina also lowered her head.

This...

Baimu scratched Mawile’s head, and amidst its impatient wriggling, he said, ”Alright, I’ll go then.”

He got up briskly and placed Mawile back in its original spot.

”Chi-dor!”

Mawile furrowed its brow. Although it wanted to continue learning from Babina and Helena, the Trainer’s situation concerned it.

After much contemplation.

”Chi-dor.”

It bowed to Babina, others, and the Pokémon to say goodbye, then chased after Baimu.

Seeing this scene, Babina and Helena couldn’t help but smile. What is the reason why they persist in building an ideal world for humans and Pokémon?

It’s right in front of their eyes.

Humans and Pokémon relying on and understanding each other—is there anything more beautiful?

In the backyard.

N was communicating with many Pokémon.

These were not the Pokémon of Baimu, Wu, or himself, but were those bought yesterday from the Underground City.

In principle, N did not wish to engage in monetary transactions treating Pokémon as commodities, but to avoid bringing trouble to Baimu, he had no choice but to buy them.

Money, he did not lack.

After the Plasma Team was dismantled, much of the wealth was confiscated by the police, but much more was left to N as the adopted son of the leader.

N used this portion of funds as his startup fund to launch Pokémon rescue efforts, and the money made from Pokémon was spent on Pokémon, thus returning it to a rightful path.

As a man who can understand Pokémon language and their hearts, N quickly established a good relationship with them with just a few words.

Fortunately, Baimu also obtained more keys to Sand Group leader residences from Liu Ge, preventing the house from becoming crowded.

Of course.

N wasn’t foolish enough to just keep buying Pokémon. He stopped when they reached their current caregiving limit and told Baimu that they would become a force to make Ore a better place.

”N.”

Baimu interrupted N’s conversation with the Pokémon.

Seeing him, the Pokémon all greeted him with smiles, rushing over. With N’s explanation, they understood where the delicious food they ate came from.

So as soon as Baimu returned home, they couldn’t help but coquettishly ask him for food.

”It’s not mealtime yet, not mealtime yet!”

Baimu was pressed down by several fluffy Furret for quite a while, unable to get up, with hands and feet occupied by other Pokémon. He looked for help from Aggron, half crying and laughing, ”My good buddy! Give me a hand!”

”Rooar!”

The watching Aggron, hearing Baimu calling it by nickname, immediately separated the Pokémon, rescuing Baimu buried by a horde of ’food machines’.

Mawile, originally planning to take action, puffed its cheeks, then, pouting, jumped onto Aggron’s shoulder.

This spot and moment were its exclusive throne, thanks to the Big Monster’s large size.

”Hahaha, it seems everyone really likes you,” N said happily seeing this scene as he could sense the kindness from the Pokémon.

”Mm, too enthusiastic is not always good.”

Baimu brushed away fur from his body, ”Well, there’s something serious I want to discuss with you, let’s go over there.”

He pointed to two chairs under the eaves.

They moved over there.

”Shanren might have told you who our enemies are, but not about the technology he knows so well...” Baimu took a deep breath, telling N about the Shadow Pokémon issue.

Upon hearing about using technological means to seal a Pokémon’s heart, turning them into soulless fighting machines, N began frowning, and didn’t stop throughout.

Moreover, upon hearing that Shadow Pokémon technology had appeared for the third time on this land, he tightly clenched his fist.

”...That’s the situation.”

Baimu cautiously observed N.

The latter’s expressions shifted gradually, showing hatred, hostility, and pain before ending with a wistful sigh, turning his head with vacant eyes gazing at the sky, ”Humans always find various ways to persecute Pokémon.”

”Yes.”

Baimu had to admit, even in the Pokémon world of the animation, there were plenty who enjoyed tormenting Pokémon.

They frequently emerged as opponents to Ash Ketchum across various regions.

”Do you think a harmonious coexistence of humans and Pokémon in an ideal world is really achievable?” N, supporting his chin with his right hand, asked. Perhaps due to his lineage, his skin was incredibly fair, making him shine brightly, eye-catching.

”Of course it is.”

Baimu replied without hesitation, ”Because in that ideal world, there’s no place for scum, nor do we need them.”

”Scum, huh...”

N chuckled, ”It seems in this regard, you’re much more determined than I am.”

”That’s because I don’t carry as much burden as you. My wish is for Ore to move toward a better future, so that I can venture out without worries.”

He suddenly noticed Chansey carrying two drinks over, quickly went to catch them, preventing nearby Exeggutor from knocking them over, ”The world is vast and wide, though many say humanity’s stride has almost spanned this planet, I don’t believe it.”

”Indeed, the world is vast and wide.”

N took a drink from Baimu, thanking, and patted Chansey’s head, ”Thank you.”

”Lucky~”

Chansey chirped joyfully.

N sipped the drink lightly. He wasn’t a glutton; he just didn’t want to disappoint the expectant Pokémon, ”Mm~ very delicious.”

”Lucky!”

Chansey’s smile grew even more radiant, receiving familiar attention when looking at Baimu.

N’s touch was gentle, but only when its own Trainer patted, it felt especially right!

Elated, Chansey turned to run off, followed by a group of Pokémon because, in their memories, Chansey was also responsible for feeding.

”Don’t feed them!”

Baimu called out, preventing Chansey, who could wield Severe Poison, from giving in to those Pokémon’s pestering and starting to feed them.

This call also caught Deino’s attention, as the little rascal dashed from afar, leaping into Baimu’s arms, then biting on his hand to lick.

N couldn’t help but smile at some point, saying:

”Why not let it begin from Ore.”

”Huh?”

Baimu turned back puzzled.

”The ideal world where humans and Pokémon coexist starts from this land without native Pokémon.”

N said softly, ”While it may be barren here, the sparse population offers vast lands for building a place where Pokémon tormented by humans can rest and recuperate.”

Baimu cautiously asked, ”Are you serious?”

”Of course, I am serious,”

N replied, ”How to properly resettle the rescued Pokémon has always been a challenging issue. Many regions’ nature reserves are already saturated, and we can’t just release them here and there.

”Ore is quite nice, offering those rescued Pokémon a place of belonging because they... they cannot go back anymore.”
