Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 184: Chapter 181: The Might of Da Wu (45/53)

The slightly disheveled Shadow Team members continued forward.

After the gas explosion and Pokémon Self-destruct, they encountered numerous traps. Although the protective suits reduced casualties, many Shadow Pokémon were lost, and also...

So disgusting!

At this point, almost all the Shadow Team members were holding back their frustration, just waiting to vent it on the Rainbow Team when they meet.

To satisfy their demand, Baimu and others arrived.

Boom——!!

The ground beneath them suddenly collapsed, and a gigantic silver beast burst through the surface with a screeching whistle like a high-speed train!

”Attack! Dark Charge!”

”Dark Storm!”

The Shadow Team members frantically released their Shadow Pokémon, commanding them to attack the Mega Steelix.

At the same moment.

Pokémon kept emerging from surrounding buildings, launching various long-range moves at them. The Rainbow Team moved among the Pokémon, continuously throwing flash grenades and poison gas bullets to attack.

The Shadow Team members at the front and back were drawn away, releasing their Shadow Pokémon to fight.

Those in the middle continued to target the Mega Steelix.

”Roar!!”

The Mega Steelix took several hits and let out a painful roar, but it didn’t run away. Instead, it twisted its body, suddenly positioning itself upright so the four transverse steel beams spun wildly!

Rumble——

A violent sandstorm quickly gathered, becoming a massive dust storm that rose to the sky and blocked out the sunlight, sending most of the advancing Shadow Pokémon flying!

”Such a strong Pokémon!”

The Shadow Team leader was shocked by the Mega Steelix and hastily shouted, ”Don’t get close! Long range! Use long-range!”

A sandstorm of this scale would repel as many as entered, and only fierce long-range attacks could take it down.

”Dark Storm!”

”Dark Lightning——Ah!”

A Shadow Team member suddenly screamed, his companions turned to see a pair of luminous blue orbs rising from the ground.

”Roar——!!”

The Aggron casually swung its arm, sending a man flying with a bang, then roared at the Pokémon continuously emerging from the pit dug by the Mega Steelix!

”Roar!”

The Aggron moved like a heavy tank, emitting blinding white light as it charged, specifically targeting the Shadow Pokémon and swinging them like baseball bats.

How long will your protective suits make you invincible, let’s see!

The Mawile took advantage of its small size, using Electromagnetic Levitation to weave between the Pokémon, rushing to punch or kick any enemy threatening its allies.

The Chansey, meanwhile, was busy rescuing others. While regular people might find it hard to differentiate Shadow Pokémon from normal ones, for it, which could read emotions, it couldn’t be easier.

Without a doubt.

Under the design of Baimu and N, the Shadow Team members caught in a pincer attack were thrown into chaos, nearly unable to distinguish friend from foe.

But due to the Shadow Pokémon’s ability to trade injury for injury, coupled with the two hundred Shadow Team members carrying nearly a thousand Shadow Pokémon, the Steelix and others began to struggle.

”Retreat! Don’t get caught in combat! Retreat!”

The call to retreat rang out in the sky.

A Shadow Pokémon attacked the sky, but only shot down a drone.

More drones began broadcasting Baimu’s voice, instructing Aggron and Steelix to retreat with the wounded and incapacitated Pokémon.

In an alley, Baimu and Wu panted heavily, surrounded by downed Shadow Pokémon and several Shadow Team members.

Baimu continued shouting into a walkie-talkie, protected by Mawile, while Wu’s Haxorus and Druddigon, covered in wounds, watched the surroundings warily.

Although there was never any expectation to rely solely on N’s tamed Pokémon to take down the Shadow Team, the pace at which situations shifted was too swift.

To avoid unnecessary sacrifices during delaying tactics, a retreat was necessary.

”Take your people to the second line of defense, I and N will cover you.” He turned to Wu, instructing him to withdraw.

Wu hesitated, ”But.”

”There’s no time for hesitation now! Go quickly! Have those there prepare!”

Baimu shoved Wu, just about to scold him when suddenly.

He looked skyward.

”A white meteor?”

A dazzling silver light streaked across the sky, suddenly veering, heading straight towards them in confusion.

Then.

Boom——!!

The silver blazing meteor crashed not far off, the ground rupturing like a fragile biscuit, nearby buildings collapsing, and numerous Shadow Pokémon attempting to pursue the retreating Pokémon being blasted away!

The grimacing Shadow Team members stared blankly at the smoky chaos, exchanging bewildered glances.

At that moment, a blurred figure emerged from the smoke.

”Looks like I’m a step late, you are the Shadow Team, correct? And these are Shadow Pokémon.”

A tall, smiling young man stepped out from the smoke, behind him a bizarre creature like a robot, with eight stout arms, its entire body gleaming silver.

”Meta!”

It let out an immensely powerful cry.

A Shadow Team member attempted to launch an attack, only to be held back by the team leader. The leader’s keen intuition told him the figure before him was not a native of Pyrite Town, be it in demeanor or other aspects.

In the back of his mind, a silhouette seemed to align with him.

”Who are you!”

He shouted, ”This is Pyrite Town, we are suppressing a rebellion! No unauthorized persons allowed!”

”Suppressing a rebellion... ha, a bunch of impostors daring to claim the side of justice.”

Da Wu surveyed the area, taking everything in, his smile gradually turning cold, ”Seems your Pokémon don’t quite agree with your words.”

The Shadow Pokémon, long in battle, became frantic, their eyes gradually turning crimson.

”Enough with the nonsense! Attack him! Everyone attack!”

A Shadow Team member could no longer hold back, shouting hoarsely.

Numerous Shadow Pokémon immediately launched an attack on Da Wu.

At this moment.

Da Wu’s body seemed to teleport onto the head of the Mega Metagross, speaking in a voice neither loud nor soft, ”Very well, let me show you who truly is the strongest and most formidable in this world.”

”Roar!”

”Woo woo woo!”

Countless black lightning and dark waves from all directions pounded towards the Mega Metagross, only to be blocked by a light blue wave.

The Shadow Team leader shuddered at this sight, countless memories flooding back.

”It’s the Champion! The Hoenn Region’s Champion, Da Wu!”

He screamed in panic.
