Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 172: Chapter 169: Reliever ”N” (39/50)

”Please.”

Mr. Baimu brewed tea for the man and two women in front of him. On the surface, he smiled, but inside, he was restless.

”Thank you.”

The three of them accepted the tea without showing any signs of disdain, drinking it very politely.

Beside him, Wu sat with his legs crossed, casually eating a popsicle.

Mr. Baimu glanced at him, not because he disliked his familiarity, but because he wondered why he didn’t notify them beforehand about such a big issue.

He took a deep breath, subtly observing the appearance of the three.

The man sitting on the far left was slightly slender, with lush green hair reaching his waist, tied up simply. He was a handsome figure, with a peculiar spherical celestial object hanging on his chest and a golden square object at his waist.

Among the two women, one had long pink hair, and the other had a yellow ponytail, with two strands of hair sticking up like rabbit ears.

”Hmm... Mr. Gropius, is there anything I can assist you with?”

Mr. Baimu tried hard to keep his voice calm.

Indeed.

The person sitting in front of him was Nakozan Halmenia Gropius, the adopted son of the former Plasma Team leader from the Unova Region, who possessed the power of Reshiram. He was said to be a child born of Pokémon, capable of understanding Pokémon language, and a super popular figure.

N.

Full name: Nakozan Halmenia Gropius.

It was hard to imagine the person appearing alive in front of him; the excitement in Mr. Baimu’s heart was no less than the first time he saw a Pokémon.

”Sorry for the intrusion, Mr. Baimu, for coming unexpectedly causing inconvenience, please forgive us.”

N’s tone was gentle and warm, and his two sisters smiled and nodded their heads in greeting, ”We visited here mainly because we heard from Wu about the current situation in Pyrite Town and hope to contribute our humble effort.”

Hearing this, Mr. Baimu immediately stood up and extended his hand, ”Thank you all for your compassionate assistance; your arrival is a big help for us. Since everyone shares the same goal, we are now like-minded partners. You can call me by my name, and please allow me to address you by your surnames.”

”... Honored indeed, but you can call me ’N.’

N seemed somewhat surprised by the decisiveness of the person in front, but he just considered the crisis in Ore to be tense enough, decisively shaking hands with him.

Then his pink-haired sister named Babina and the blonde-haired sister named Helena.

The magnanimity illustrated that he should be the N after the fall of the Plasma Team, who initially in the animation detested human actions and wanted Pokémon to stay away from humans until he encountered Ash Ketchum later and realized the bond that could be formed between humans and Pokémon.

Not all humans in the world are vile, and he finally got the answer from Reshiram.

At this stage.

He should be striving to create an ideal world for humans and Pokémon.

The four spoke softly, primarily with N asking questions and Mr. Baimu responding.

It wasn’t hard to hear from N’s questions that he intended to save these Pokémon in the Ore Region. For Mr. Baimu, determined to save even the ”silent” Pokémon, it surely was a timely rain.

However.

Since he was mostly just a ”muscle,” he didn’t know what to say or not about some future-related content, so he simply contacted Shanren to converse with N.

Subsequently, Mr. Baimu pulled Wu aside.

”Is he a Dragon Tamer?”

”No.”

”Then why did you bring him here?”

”Met him during my travels. He said he’s dedicated to rescuing Pokémon worldwide. I figured Ore is part of the world, so I contacted him and brought him along.”

”Then why didn’t you notify Shanren first, but brought him to me?”

”He’s not a Dragon Tamer, so why would I contact him? Besides, you can contact him.”

Seeing Wu’s nonchalant expression, Mr. Baimu wiped his face, ”What about those Dragon Tamers you promised?”

Upon this, the former got awkward, rubbing his nose nervously, ”Uh, hahaha...”

Seeing him keep staring at himself, Wu lowered his head in dejection, ”Granny Long said I was too impatient. Such an important thing couldn’t just be participated in a few words. She wanted me to come over and understand the situation first and also to write a ten thousand words report...”

”Ha.”

Mr. Baimu laughed, simultaneously feeling that Granny Long was rather steady. Indeed, such a major event should not be rashly involved; one needed to figure out what each side was doing and then plan further.

On the other side.

Shanren seemed to have finished talking with N’s group, and the courteous demeanor on their faces had diminished considerably.

At the former’s gesture, Mr. Baimu picked up his phone and walked aside.

”Look, our first group of allies has arrived, even though it’s just three people for now.” Shanren’s voice on the phone was very cheerful, ”But his power, I think, can match an army.”

Mr. Baimu was curious, ”You know him?”

”Of course, I know him. This guy is a very famous Pokémon Reliever, claiming not to need Pokéballs or battles, able to communicate with all Pokémon, and referred to as the ’Child of Pokémon’ who can make all Pokémon listen to him.”

Shanren said in a tone like drawing an SSR in a single pull, ”Maybe his combat power isn’t strong, but the role he can play surpasses ten Cang Zhilangs!”

”... Why has the boss become a unit of combat power?”

”If you mind...”

”It’s actually okay.”

”Anyway, more and more people like him will show up. But for the time being, it’s inconvenient on my side, so could you please host N and his group for now?”

”Sure, it’s fine...”

Mr. Baimu hung up the phone reluctantly.

Although there were a few spare rooms at home, considering the crowding and privacy issues, he arranged for N to stay at Liu Ge’s house next door.

According to N, Shanren hoped he could lay low for now and not expose his existence rashly, waiting to cooperate from the side when Liu Ge and others move.

With things developing to this point, the future was quite clear.

The chaos in Pyrite Town was, on the one hand, to reduce internal forces, and on the other hand, to lure Ergin forces over from Silicon City, to relieve the pressure on the real main force—Shanren’s father’s side.

As long as Liu Ge could find a way to use Pyrite Town to hold back Ergin’s forces, their odds of success would greatly increase.

Meanwhile, Cang Zhilang and others heading to Silicon City to rescue the Quicksand Team boss would act as the first force to delay Ergin’s troops, ensuring they can’t return to aid in time.

If Liu Ge’s goal was achieved.

So currently, the most important thing was to ensure nothing went wrong with Pyrite Town.

However.

Liu Ge and Shanren seemed to have two different attitudes towards Ergin’s forces.

The former’s vision was to delay, while the latter... seemed to be contemplating how to annihilate Ergin’s forces!
