Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 168: Chapter 165: Bullying the Boss (37/50)

Considering the size of Steelix.

Baimu chose the largest battle arena.

”Are you sure this is your most durable one?” He asked the owner multiple times.

The owner repeatedly responded, ”Rest assured! This Copper Wall and Iron Wall, even if a Level 70 Pokémon comes, it won’t break it! If it does break, not only do you not have to compensate, but I can even pay you money!”

Upon hearing this.

Baimu was half relieved.

Even if the owner was boasting a bit, it wouldn’t be a problem to contain a Level 60 Steelix, and the bottom structure would prevent it from escaping via Digging.

He closed the door.

Taking a deep breath, he released Aggron and Chansey in the semi-enclosed battle arena.

The former was the main output hand for this taming task, while the latter was used for survival; in case Steelix gave him a direct hit, even without considering attribute energy, just the momentum from its ton-and-a-half weight would be enough to knock him out.

After all, it’s equivalent to the level of a small car.

”Come on, let’s welcome our new partner!”

Baimu shouted in a low voice, and the two Pokémon were on high alert.

Bam!

A white light flew from the Pokeball, transforming in an instant into a massive entity that made even Aggron look up with awe.

The steel-like body reflected a cold brilliance, and the airflow stirred by its movements sent chills down one’s spine. Its deep roar was as explosive as a ship’s horn.

Almost like those terrifying monsters from sci-fi works.

Seeing this fellow in person, Baimu unexpectedly found it not only big, but unlike ordinary Steelix, which had only three horizontal metal segments, this one had four.

The length and diameter increased from bottom to top, with the topmost horizontal segment’s base being about as thick as a person.

Its enormous head, like a cloud, covered the lights, casting a large shadow.

With a height of twelve meters, it nearly touched the arena’s ceiling.

”Roar!”

Head Steelix observed around, then lowered its head as if sensing something, finding the toy-like Aggron, action figure-like Baimu, and egg-like Chansey.

Its dark pupils quickly filled with malice, as the unfamiliar environment and the intimidating presence of unknown Pokémon stirred its fury.

”ROAR——!!”

Head Steelix roared at Aggron.

”ROAR——!!”

Aggron responded with an even louder roar; although Steelix’s size was exaggerated to a certain extent, it wasn’t enough to make it retreat.

What’s with being big?

Even at this size, it occasionally loses to Mawile, which is only knee-high!

The two giant beasts glared at each other, neither willing to avert their gaze.

Just as Cang Zhilang said, it was quite temperamental.

”Strike first to gain the advantage! Quicksand Hell!”

Seeing Steelix’s tail poised to attack, Baimu hastily issued a command.

Upon hearing this, Aggron clenched its fists and pounded the ground, creating countless terrifying cracks, which instantly formed a huge sand pit under Steelix’s feet!

”Roar!”

Steelix was caught off guard by Aggron’s audacity to attack, losing balance as the ground gave way and it fell directly into the sand pit.

Due to its exaggerated weight and fishbone-like shape, it quickly sank, soon leaving only half exposed.

And this half had reached the bottom, the rotating Quicksand Hell unable to move it an inch.

”Quicksand Hell!”

Baimu saw Steelix angrily open its massive black mouth to inhale, immediately issuing another command.

Aggron stomped the ground forcefully, creating a rapidly rotating sandstorm vortex, sweeping towards Steelix. At this moment, Steelix had already exhaled a blue-green Gale!

Boom!

Quicksand Hell and Dragon Breath collided!

Both exploded loudly, the strong attribute energy ripple blowing Baimu’s hair and clothes like a gale.

But soon, Quicksand Hell gathered again, sweeping back towards Steelix.

Clearly, Steelix’s Dragon Breath, though fierce, couldn’t match Aggron’s Quicksand Hell.

He squinted slightly and shouted again, ”Surf!”

”Roar!”

Aggron raised its right hand, a blue water sphere rapidly expanded visibly, then plummeted to the ground, creating a huge wave pressing towards Steelix!

Steelix seeing this, quickly rotated its second horizontal segment, causing the sand below to converge into sharp rocks shrouded in white light, shooting at the giant wave like bullets.

Bang bang bang!

The sharp rocks repeatedly shattered the giant wave, successfully dispersing it.

However, Baimu’s primary purpose in using Surf wasn’t to inflict damage, but to further trap Steelix fallen into Quicksand Hell.

The water mixed with sand, creating a large muddy area.

Steelix stirred its horizontal segments trying to escape from Quicksand Hell, but like a blender, accelerated the mixing of water and gravel.

Soon.

A large mud pit was formed.

Steelix’s stirring speed gradually slowed, the sand pit becoming more troublesome, requiring more strength.

At this moment, it suddenly realized the limited width of Quicksand Hell, allowing it to stretch its head outside the pit and use its head as a fulcrum to free its tail!

Realizing this escape method, Steelix immediately slammed its head down.

Baimu smiled at this.

”It’s hooked! Stomp!”

”Roar!”

At the instant Steelix’s head hit the ground, Aggron suddenly leaped up, raising its big foot and fiercely kicking its shovel-like head!

The regret from Surf missing Steelix transformed into Aggron’s attacking power, even with Steelix’s high Physical Defense, this attack left it reeling, swaying left and right.

But Aggron’s attack wasn’t over.

”Brute Force!”

Seeing it grabbed Steelix’s chin, shouting with an angry roar, exerting power, as its whole body glimmered in a reddish-brown light, lifting the eighteen-meter Giant Steelix out of the mud!

”ROAR——!!”

Aggron vigorously swung it, smashing Steelix towards the wall!

Boom!

The ground and walls produced terrifying blasts and trembled continuously.

Aggron continued to approach Steelix, grabbed its tail, spinning it like a merry-go-round, letting its skull strike the ground and walls repeatedly, producing terrifying muffled bangs.

The originally confident roars of Steelix now became deep hums.

”Enough, stop!”

Baimu, crouching down, timely called to halt.

Aggron immediately let go of its claws, Steelix crashing into the hard wall fiercely again.

”Nghh...”

The latter lay on the ground, producing train whistle-like sounds.

”You really are, getting stronger and stronger, huh.”

Baimu first complimented Aggron, after Level 60 this guy was far stronger than he imagined.

The confidence brought by strength made it insanely wild now.

”Roar!”

Aggron proudly raised its claws, roaring to the sky as if showcasing its muscles.
