Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 154: Chapter 151: The Outbreak of Urban Warfare

The Luo Qi Team of the Evil Dog Team controls three surface street districts, each with different scales and shapes.

The Quicksand Team dispersed in different directions according to their various missions.

Most of them will head to the underground core area to block the Underground City of the Luo Qi Team from the surface entrance and underground tunnels, preventing internal personnel from escaping and assets from being lost.

The other part is responsible for sweeping the surface, infiltrating, and suppressing key facilities in the three major districts from multiple directions.

Except for an elite squad led by Flop and himself, the Liu Ge Squadron is mainly operating on the ground.

To be honest.

For the tens of thousands of citizens in the subsequent three districts, relying on only a few hundred formal members on the ground is far from enough, so this time, like last time, more outside members are brought in for assistance.

Because Baimu is considered to have strength equivalent to a manager, he is assigned to the most prosperous and possibly the most dangerous block and is required to accept support requests from other squad leaders.

On the surface, he only manages a part of the district, but in reality, his activity range has expanded to the entire district.

As for street combat,

Even in previous lives, it was considered an exceptionally brutal and highly dangerous combat method.

Narrow streets, complex environments, unseen enemies, and sudden attacks make the upcoming street warfare filled with unpredictable and complex factors.

Of course, no matter how dangerous the surface is, it can’t compare to the Underground City.

Most organizations use the Underground City as a core area where assets and forces converge, with most managers gathered underground.

As long as Baimu is lucky enough, he usually won’t encounter managers who stay on the surface. People generally dispatch squad leaders to guard important facilities, which makes dealing with such opponents relatively easy for him.

It’s even less of a threat than a bunch of ordinary members’ Pokémon combined.

”I’ll remind you again, when you reach the location, the outside members are under your command. Remember, do not harm the general public unless necessary. If the leader is willing to surrender, don’t attack recklessly. Randomly looting assets and endangering the public is strictly forbidden, understand?”

He turned his head, reiterating what he had said before.

Although not taking assets is basically hard to achieve, he still had to say it to prevent these guys from going overboard.

Few organizations in the world can freeze without dismantling houses or starve without plundering, let alone the Quicksand Team, which has little ideology as an extreme force.

Not committing murder, arson, or ** looting is already commendably good.

”Understood!” Cheng Hong and the others answered.

”Remember what I said; jot down the names of those who disobey or feign compliance and report to me later.”

Baimu said calmly and seriously, ”Disciplining your subordinates is a severe challenge for you.”

Everyone exchanged looks, noticing each other’s expressions, and their once slightly excited mood immediately cooled.

”Understood!”

Having power is indeed worth celebrating, but this power does not seem easy to obtain.

Instantly,

they began to adjust their earpiece channels to contact the outside members.

Otsuka appeared somewhat hesitant because there were no management personnel among the outside members.

”Why are you looking at me? You are one of only two in the team with combat capability. Does it mean I’m the only one fighting them?” Baimu questioned, slightly surprised by his gaze.

Otsuka quickly nodded, masking his joy, ”Oh oh! I understand!”

In his view, although he didn’t get command, being regarded by Baimu as needing his combat effectiveness was more than enough.

With strength, why fear lacking power?

Once Baimu rises to the manager level, he will undoubtedly find a way to secure a squad leader position, considering he’s Baimu’s trusted lieutenant general!

Otsuka thought happily.

——

The massive gathering and operation of Quicksand Team personnel.

The neighboring Evil Dog Team certainly wouldn’t be oblivious; the Luo Qi Team has long realized Quicksand Team’s wolfish ambitions, and the two mines cannot possibly satisfy them.

Upon discovering turmoil in Pyrite Town, Luo Qi, lying on a sickbed, quickly understood that the Quicksand Team was about to act, immediately arranging asset transfers—under normal circumstances, one or two days would be sufficient to move large assets and even provide opportunities for people to escape.

Unfortunatly, there was a traitor within the top three managers of Evil Dog Team working with Quicksand Team. This traitor secretly arranged for people to incite many ordinary members within the Luo Qi Team, resulting in disruptions in asset transfers.

As for personnel transfer, it was out of the question.

The Jiama Team directly stalled Luo Qi Team members and their families under the pretext of discussing future plans.

When Quicksand Team launched a large-scale invasion, the Jiama Team stopped pretending, ripped off the mask, and began to fully prevent Luo Qi Team’s personnel arrangements.

They suddenly realized they were surrounded on all sides; even worse, the traitor among the top managers was directly guiding them, while another high-ranking manager opted to watch from the sidelines.

”They’ve taken me down. You’re next! Do you even know! Surrendering now won’t get you better treatment than Jiama. If us two team up, the Evil Dog Team won’t fall, cough cough cough...”

Luo Qi called another top manager, his emotions intensely agitated, resulting in a persistent cough, even coughing up blood.

The other party didn’t respond, just silently hung up the call.

”Foolish! Cough cough cough!”

Furious, Luo Qi looked at his confidant, ”We can’t rely on such people! Have everyone ready for battle! Hold on as long as possible! I will find a way to get external support!”

”...Understood!”

His confidant responded, turned, and ran outside.

In reality, voices favoring surrender had long resonated within Luo Qi’s team. After all, with the boss captured, Luo Qi, the leader, bedridden, and another team refusing to assist, hope was dwindling.

With the dire situation at hand, the team below was lacking confidence.

Quicksand Team deployed nearly half of its members across three groups, while Luo Qi’s group only had one group’s manpower and had to contend with the traitorous Jiama Team. How could they possibly win?

Unless a strong external force appeared—

Indeed, it did appear.

But this external force wasn’t here to support Luo Qi’s group; instead, it was security brought in by another high-ranking manager, secretly negotiating with other forces to prevent Quicksand Team from swallowing Luo Qi’s group and then attacking them.

Once this news spread within the Luo Qi group, the combat desire of the lower ranks weakened; no one wished to fight an unwinnable, meaningless battle.

At this moment,

The Quicksand Team’s ground forces already reached the scene.

To successfully lock down the three districts, Quicksand Team members launched attacks from vital entrances towards signal towers, power stations, sewage treatment plants, and other key facilities within the Evil Dog Team district.

The ambushers from the Evil Dog Team had been waiting for a long time, and as the Quicksand Team members approached, Luo Qi’s group immediately deployed Pokémon to engage aggressively.

Various sparks, lightning, and water streams were thrown as if there was no cost.

The Quicksand Team members present didn’t hastily counterattack with Pokémon.

Instead, they first utilized Flying Pokémon to gain aerial superiority, dropping paralysis gas and sleeping gas onto their positions, and focused on suppressing Pokémon attempting to disperse the gases.

A well-coordinated attack caught the Evil Dog Team off guard, forcing them to abandon immobilized partners and flee towards the street’s depths in panic.

Clearly, the Evil Dog Team wasn’t aware of the significance of transportation hubs.

By abandoning transportation, they’ve lost at least half the battle.

Quicksand Team seized the advantage, immediately dispatching personnel to place magnetic disruption devices at each entrance, making any attempts to break through with hoverbikes and hovercars ineffective.
