Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 162: Chapter 159: Dust Settles

Starting the fight caught the Bosozoku off guard.

Especially the Mohawk leader, who almost got scared into a frenzy seeing Mawile charge with lightning speed, shouting for his Weezing to block with Gyro Ball.

The nearby Bosozoku hurriedly sent out their own Pokémon as well.

Little did they know that Chansey appeared, and with a raise of its tiny paws, an immense gravity brought their hoverbike heads down with a bang, some lightly damaged on the spot, while others emitted smoke, causing widespread panic.

Their Weezing and Koffings were also forced to the ground, sounding like basketballs bouncing, or like a spectacular drop of dumplings.

”Gah-rass...”

The Mohawk’s Weezing let out a deep groan, and its intended Gyro Ball was abruptly halted.

In the midst of such chaos, only a few Grimers emitting a pungent odor and Voltorbs, which resembled Pokeballs, remained unscathed. The shouts of the Bosozoku left them hesitating, unsure whether to turn back to assist or continue attacking Mawile or Chansey.

The next moment.

A pink storm swirled up, pushing outward like a tangible high wall, sweeping away everything in its path—whether Pokémon or motorbike, they all rolled backward.

The Bosozoku in the center were hit by the gust and flung into the air, only to thud back down under the constraint of the Gravity Field, groaning in pain.

Those slightly further away were dumbfounded, momentarily at a loss for words.

At this time, Baimu’s voice commanded.

”Take them down!”

Immediately.

The Quicksand Team, who had been waiting, sent out their Pokémon one by one, shouting for them to attack the Bosozoku.

Most of the people Baimu brought were from the Crystal Team, who had been cornered repeatedly by these scoundrels, retreating time after time and bottling up their anger.

Now that they finally had the chance to strike back, they went wild.

”Tell your men not to go overboard.”

Seeing the Crystal Team members of the Quicksand Team red-eyed, Baimu quickly pulled the equally excited Crystal Team Squad Leader aside.

It’s fine to handle a few key figures, but there’s no need to eliminate all of them. Being short on manpower, dealing with the aftermath if everyone is eliminated is also a problem.

Maximize benefits.

As for how much grievance the formal Crystal Team members suffered, that wasn’t his concern; he was more willing to see peripheral members or the public demand blood for blood.

The latter instinctively nodded, ”Understood!”

After responding to the Squad Leader, he realized that he had somehow come to sincerely admire Baimu.

Elsewhere.

Mawile dragged the dizzy Mohawk leader back. Its Electromagnetic Levitation was nullified by gravity, but fortunately, it coordinated well with Chansey and was already poised to land the moment gravity was unleashed.

So it wasn’t affected by this large-scale field move.

Chansey followed behind, contemplating whether to help lift the Mohawk leader, whose pants were almost worn out. Ultimately, it decided against it, worried it might tear off his shorts due to not being as fast as Mawile.

Moments later.

The Quicksand Team members efficiently captured the Bosozoku and successfully reclaimed their stolen wealth, destroying their noisy sound systems.

”Do you have anything to say?”

Baimu looked at the Mohawk leader, and seeing his face full of resentment, said, ”There aren’t many chances. I favor prisoners who confess and grant leniency; I have no fondness for those who are stubborn.”

The offhand tone sent a chill down the Mohawk leader’s spine, ”What do you want to know?”

”Was it Kojelo who sent you, and besides you, whom else did he send?”

Baimu didn’t mince words, asking straight away.

The Mohawk leader’s eyes flickered; just as he was about to retort, Baimu stomped on his hand, ”Think before you speak and don’t forget your predicament!”

”I’ll talk! I’ll talk!”

The Mohawk leader cried out, immediately divulging the information Baimu wanted.

At this moment.

On Kojelo’s turf, a group suddenly emerged.

”Hey, hey, what’s going on here? Who are you guys? Messing around on the Evil Dog Team’s territory?” The leader spoke in a mocking tone.

All the members of the Quicksand Team looked at Baimu in unison.

Baimu’s expression remained unchanged, ”Take the prisoners, let’s go.”

With that, he turned and mounted his hoverbike.

”Hold on!”

The leader saw Baimu ignoring him and his expression shifted, ”Stop there! You beat people on our turf and want to just walk away? Demon Wood, didn’t your boss teach you about rules!?”

Still ignored.

Baimu was already riding away.

The remaining Quicksand Team members glanced at the group, smirking or looking oddly amused as they took the Bosozoku captives and left.

”Such arrogance!”

The leader clenched his fists, seething at Baimu’s dismissive attitude.

Someone suggested, ”Boss, should we call those other forces over...”

”No.”

The leader darkened his face, ”The news here will soon spread, and those scoundrels will know Demon Wood came, and surely they won’t come anymore. What’s more, a barking dog doesn’t bite; what exactly is this guy planning...”

Undoubtedly, they were Kojelo’s men, who had hoped to strike a conversation after seeing the Bosozoku hammered by Baimu and his group.

Little did they anticipate Baimu’s complete disregard.

Treating him like air throughout.

This confidence left the leader anxious, and as former nemeses of the Crystal Team, Baimu aiding the Crystal Team was suspicious enough to cast doubt.

What exactly happened in the Underground City?

The leader began contacting Kojelo at their central base to relay this information to him.

”...Let’s watch and see.”

Kojelo, after a long silence, chose to continue observing, assured of his new, vast partner to not worry about the Quicksand Team’s intrusion.

But rashly clashing with the Quicksand Team now would be highly unwise.

——

Returning to the temporary base.

The jubilant Crystal Team members found many people on site, realizing they had been ambushed on seeing their Sand Group emblems.

They looked at Baimu in disbelief, not expecting him to turn on them so fast after having stood arrogantly together moments ago!

The Crystal Team initially wanted to neglect their duties but soon found the Sand Group’s numbers growing, making their help seemingly unnecessary, and that this district had already slipped from their control.

The Squad Leader, besides calling superiors, had no other solution.

Baimu’s prowess had already been demonstrated, capable of easily crushing him, leaving no point in inviting trouble.

Add to that.

”Big Brother Baimu! We did it!”

Several bedraggled Evil Dog Team members emerged from deep within the district, their faces full of excitement, having completed a formidable task.

No doubt, the Evil Dog Team members sent by Baimu had successfully persuaded the last remaining resistors in this district.

The Crystal Team’s control over this district had truly come to an end.
