Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 180: Chapter 177: The Champion Arrives

The actions of Liu Ge and his team were timely.

The personnel lurking around Ergin quickly discovered that information had been submitted below regarding the Rescue Organization.

However, it was soon drowned in the news of the Rainbow Team’s establishment.

Ergin didn’t even glance at the message. The scale of the resistance that had never appeared in decades made him think these things were impossible, and he only commented on the new leader of the Rainbow Team—Baimu.

”A naive kid who can’t distinguish reality.”

This remark brought relief to everyone.

At the same time.

After resting for two days and observing the situation in Pyrite Town, the Ergin Forces began their actions.

As for the defector Chester, his fate surprised many. Ergin handed him over to the international police, summoned by the Alliance Prosecutor, as one of the culprits in the Quicksand Team’s invasion of the Evil Dog Team.

Similarly, a large number of captured Quicksand Team members were handed over.

Ergin’s stance seemed to be that the main culprit had been dealt with, so everyone should just turn a blind eye.

This maneuver was indeed unexpected because Ergin attempted to cover up the situation in Pyrite Town with an almost contemptuous approach.

Just hand over a few people and pretend nothing happened?

You’ve got another disaster coming your way!

The Rescue Organization, startled, was now more confident they could defeat Ergin.

——

Pyrite Town.

Before the arrival of the Ergin Forces.

The Rainbow Team first received support from Agate Village.

Baimu was fortunate enough to meet Mire’s grandfather—Logan, the only person in the game with the title of Legendary Trainer.

From appearance, he looked no different from Gandalf—a seventy or eighty-year-old man.

But since he was willing to wade into the troubled waters of Pyrite Town, he must have his backing.

Besides Grandpa Logan, many Trainers who appeared imposing had arrived.

Leo informed him that in the northern part of the Ore Region, there was a volcano known as ”Battle Mountain.”

Originally, it was a holy land for many Ore Trainers, where they battled their Pokémon on different platforms, each holding a dominant position. Those who climbed to the top were called Battle Masters, as the strongest trainers in the Ore Region.

Unfortunately, after Ergin came to power, he forcibly compelled the trainers of Battle Mountain to serve him.

However, the trainers would never agree and didn’t want any confrontation, so some chose to leave the Ore Region, while others chose to live in seclusion at the foot of the mountain in Agate Village.

Ergin dared not press them too hard, and the issue ultimately went unresolved.

The various facilities on Battle Mountain had since been abandoned.

The villagers of Agate Village came not only to help the civilians of Pyrite Town but also with hopes to restore Battle Mountain to its original state, and if possible, establish an alliance to attract the returning trainers.

”Battle Mountain has been abandoned...”

Upon learning of this news, Baimu felt somewhat regretful.

Battle Mountain was a feature of the Ore Region, and during the game, it gave him the feeling of climbing a hundred floors like a fearless man. Indeed, the highest platform, built on the volcanic rocks rolling with lava, left a lasting impression on him.

The surrounding spectators also gave the impression that none feared death.

Hopefully, after establishing the new order, all this will be rebuilt.

Baimu thought.

Meanwhile.

The remnants of the defeated Quicksand Team, after a long trek, finally returned to the area of Pyrite Town.

Unfortunately, the familiar logistics and external personnel they expected to greet them were replaced by a series of unfamiliar faces.

These people were all detained by men sent by Liu Ge.

During this time, someone attempted to resist, but as soon as their Pokémon were sent out, they were captured by the Capture Balls produced by Leo’s Capture Device.

With assistance from N, even when those Pokémon left their Pokeballs, they were no longer responsive to their previous owners—

This clearly showed how poorly these people treated their Pokémon. If it were Baimu’s Aggron, Liu Ge’s Gliscor, or Flop’s Ditto, even with capture by the Capture Ball, they would never listen to a stranger’s instructions.

Bishas’s Dark Ball, as a special item, was another story.

”Now there are no further worries,”

Baimu thought to himself.

Miners wrongfully trapped in the depths of the Underground City mines had already been liberated, while another group of genuinely guilty ones was unified under management, to be dealt with later.

With the imminent arrival of Ergin Forces, everyone was now bracing with utmost energy to confront these formidable foes.

——

Jinqing Port.

As the only external transport hub of the Ore Region, it had long been secretly under the control of the Rescue Organization.

During their decade-long preparation, they spent at least half of that time gradually removing Jinqing Port from Ergin’s clutches, ensuring its special independence.

On this platform of international exchange, Ergin dared not commit any excessive acts, usually turning a blind eye to many issues. Consequently, when the Rescue Organization openly communicated with the international police, he remained clueless.

Even.

He was also unaware of the aid arriving from the De Wen Company.

Shanren planned to use this fact to quietly ship vital supplies provided by De Wen Company to Pyrite Town.

From the latest protective suits to enhancing Pokémon Navigator functions, including water treatment machines and environment management devices, even hovercrafts and flying saucer-like hover devices were present, not to mention the cargos of food and survival materials.

Anyone, even Ergin, would be envious upon seeing these piled-up supplies.

Container after container was unloaded by machinery at the wharf, and he stood smiling in front of the De Wen Company’s officer, saying, ”Would you like to take my vehicle later?”

”No, no, no, I need to hurry back,” the officer waved repeatedly.

”Won’t you come with me?” Shanren expressed surprise, ”Aren’t you worried these supplies might be used for illegal purposes?”

”Not at all.”

The officer shook his head again and pointed to a silver-blue-haired youth commanding on the cargo ship, ”Our young Mr. Champion will be accompanying us, and he is very interested in the current situation in Pyrite Town, hoping to offer his help.”

”Mr. Champion...”

Shanren squinted at that person’s appearance, and then, turning to the officer, couldn’t believe, ”Mr. Champion!?”

”Hahaha, no need to be so surprised. Our young Mr. Champion has always had a strong sense of justice. Upon hearing about the situation in the collaborating town, how could he possibly sit idly by? He should be able to offer significant assistance.”

The officer spoke proudly, winking towards the ship’s bow, ”Moreover, he also brought many helpers. Do you recognize that person?”

Following the glance, Shanren immediately spotted an elderly man with a white captain’s hat and black open-chest jacket.

”Four Heavenly Kings Drake...”

He suddenly fell silent and bowed deeply to the officer, exclaiming, ”Thank you so much! Journeying from afar to help the Ore Region, we are incredibly grateful!”

”No need, no need, it’s the wish of our young Mr. Champion and Elder Drake themselves. None of us at De Wen Company want the situation in Pyrite Town. If we weren’t just a high-tech enterprise, maybe we would have already summoned hordes of trainers to aid you.”

The officer hurriedly helped Shanren up.

This gentleman truly spoke the truth. When Shanren conveyed the situation of Pyrite Town and the plight of the civilians to the De Wen Company, it immediately caused an uproar.

Although De Wen’s employees had experienced chaos from the Magma and Watercraft Teams years earlier, they were still deeply angered and moved upon discovering a place in the world that treats people so cruelly.

The entire company decided collectively to provide aid to Pyrite Town, and Mr. Zifuqi Mujin, the president, even submitted a proposal to the Hoenn Alliance advocating assistance for the Ore Region.

Upon hearing this, Shanren was obviously ecstatic, but he also understood that external aid alone wasn’t enough; the true savior of the Ore Region had to be the Ore People themselves.

Moreover, he was worried that external assistance might spoil the spiritually ”fragile” Ore People.

The plan to rescue the Ore Region was challenging and long-lasting.
