Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 156: Chapter 153: Blasting Through the Floor (31/48)

When Baimu and Otsuka discovered the lurking Evil Dog Team members.

Those Evil Dog Team members also spotted the two hiding figures, and confirmed, through observation from their companions on higher ground, that they were not teammates, even though they wore Evil Dog Team uniforms.

However, they didn’t act recklessly.

Because they weren’t sure how many people were hiding behind these two, nor how strong the reinforcements would be if they eliminated them.

Since the power plant was blown up, many instruments in the building lost their function, making them feel like they were stranded on an island.

Unable to contact their companions or the Underground City, and afraid to let Pokémon fly up, they could only rely on the most primitive physical means to spread information.

If it weren’t for an inside ghost helping, they might still intimidate or threaten those bottom-level civilians to use these useless guys to block the opponent’s attacks.

But as things have progressed to this point, it’s likely those civilians were already thinking of surrendering.

Honestly, they themselves wished to surrender too, but firstly, there was a loyal guy in the building who was unwilling to surrender, and secondly, they feared that if they surrendered, the Quicksand Team couldn’t defeat those guys above, and they would be settled accounts later.

In short, it’s not yet at the point of utter despair, so everyone was thinking of observing and holding on a little longer.

However.

This idea was hard to satisfy.

Especially for the actively invading Quicksand Team, despite showing a posture for long-term combat, they were constantly burning money, and if they could defeat the Evil Dog Team early, everyone wished for it.

So even though the Evil Dog Team members prayed repeatedly, Baimu and Otsuka still launched an offensive.

Dense smoke suddenly expanded and spread from the corner of the block, followed by a rumbling sound, a huge rolling stone broke through the smoke at a terrifying speed, heading straight for the barricade!

”Stop it!”

”Mightyena, use Loud Roar!”

”Poochyena, Mud Shot!”

”Houndour, Ember!”

The Evil Dog Team members could no longer sit still, each jumped out from various places.

Some hid behind barricades, while others hid behind windows in the opposite houses, often accompanied by similar Evil Attribute canine Pokémon.

Their combat power mostly hovered around Level 20, and many Pokémon had yet to evolve, fully showcasing their lackluster nature.

The attack was fierce, but the rolling stone seemed to intentionally take a hit, rumbling and crashing through numerous barricades, then came to a halt.

The next moment.

The huge rolling stone released a dazzling white light, exploding thunderously!

Boom—!!

The ground shook fiercely, countless rubble scattered everywhere, and the powerful General Attribute energy exploded those Pokémon and Evil Dog Team members closest to the barricade away!

The surrounding glass shattered, and those hiding behind windows were also attacked by the flying shards.

Thick smoke blanketed the exterior of the building, screams echoed from all directions.

Taking the opportunity, Baimu and Otsuka charged forward, swiftly passing through the suffocating smoke and thick mist.

The latter, passing by the fainted Golem, sympathetically retrieved it back; unleashing the Big Explosion causes Pokémon a moment of pain, a mutually destructive move.

Under non-special circumstances, Otsuka actually didn’t want Golem to use it.

But knowing it’s a chance to showcase, he couldn’t let it slip; otherwise, he’d forever remain a mere member.

”Electromagnetic Levitation! Passing the Baton!”

Baimu released Mawile, decisively let it transfer the state to Aggron.

The monstrous creature exuding terrifying momentum landed, like a heavily armored tank, directly crashing the first floor’s door open, and the startled, screaming ordinary citizens rushing inside suddenly came into view.

Among them seemed to be several Evil Dog Team members.

”There are lots of civilians here! What should we do?”

Otsuka was a bit frantic.

”Ignore them, come on!” Baimu disregarded the fleeing civilians, grabbed Otsuka with one hand, and held onto Aggron’s back with the other, ”Sacrifice Charge! Charge straight!”

”Ah?”

Otsuka hadn’t understood.

The next moment, he felt his feet suddenly leave the ground, and a terrifying roar came from above, dust rushing toward him, making him cough endlessly.

Boom!

Boom!!

Explosions kept coming from above, smoke and dust irritated him so much he couldn’t open his eyes.

But even so, his feelings couldn’t be hidden.

Actually crashing through flooring going upward!

Could a Pokémon do this effortlessly?

Otsuka recalled months ago when his three Pokémon couldn’t defeat an Aron, finding it hard to connect it to this monster in front of him, did Baimu really not switch Pokémon halfway?

Even a companion is like this.

Not to mention the Evil Dog Team members and ordinary citizens witnessing it firsthand, they stood petrified, unable to believe their eyes.

”Manager?”

”It must be Manager Level!”

”It’s a Quicksand Team manager! The Quicksand Team manager is here!”

They cried out in panic.

Outside, the previously injured Evil Dog Team members from the Big Explosion, finally recovering, hearing this, exchanged helpless glances and shivered.

As official members, they knew the manager’s power firsthand, whether in influence or strength.

What a shocking spectacle!

The Evil Dog Team members gazed at the colossal hole Aggron smashed out amid the smoke, inevitably praying for the squad leader firmly holding his ground.

——

The building had only seven floors, the squad leader was on the top.

When smoke rose and Golem’s Big Explosion detonated, he urgently had people at the staircase entrance use Pokémon or civilians to block the Quicksand Team intruders.

But the enemy didn’t take normal routes at all.

Before he could get feedback from below, suddenly a fierce tremor rocked his feet, like the building was about to collapse.

Moreover, the tremors intensified over time, making him wonder if the Quicksand Team planned to topple the building, to annihilate them all.

But just as he was internally conflicted.

A huge figure burst forth, smashing the hard ground, countless rubble like bullets smashed outward, terrifyingly!

Everyone present felt like the sky was falling, fled all around, some directly rushed down the stairs.

At this moment.

”This place has the most people! Who is the leader?”

The questioning voice suddenly rang out from the smoke, before anyone responded, a blue light appeared, immobilizing everyone present.

So fast, the squad leader barely managed to take out the Pokeball.

”Attack! Attack!”

He shouted in a breaking voice, but no counterattack came, only a massive creature holding a spiral blue orb.

The beast smashed the orb on the ground, a massive wave rose and rushed outward like a tsunami.

”Roar!”

It issued a frightening roar, swinging a tail as thick as a tree trunk at the Pokémon standing after the wave surge!

Boom! Boom!

One after another, Pokémon whimpered as they were knocked back, immediately losing combat capability.

Subsequently.

From the hole in the floor came hysterical cries from below.

”Manager! It’s a manager!”

”A Quicksand Team manager came over!”

The squad leader, controlled by Chansey’s Telekinesis, heard, and his face turned ashen.
