Apocalyptic Reincarnation: Start with a 30-million Bonus

The heavy blades extend outward and begin to rotate slowly.

The three-layer mobile switch blade, with the middle layer rotating clockwise and the upper and lower layers rotating counterclockwise.

The zombies stack quickly, reaching a height of seven meters. Due to the large number of zombies, they temporarily press down several of the switch blades, making their speed extremely slow.

Continue stacking to a higher position on the wall.

Ten meters.

Thirteen meters.

The stacking of zombies forms a triangular cone shape.

△.

However, near the wall, it forms a 90-degree right angle. /|

The higher it goes, the fewer the zombies.

Clang, clang, clang—

Zombies climbing to this height are quickly decapitated by the sharp blades.

The upward stacking speed of the zombies suddenly halts, and the climbing progress freezes.

Elsewhere, Li Yu sees the rapid stacking speed of zombies at the gate. He immediately sounds the base alarm, raising the danger level to Level Two.

He instructs Li Hang to open all three layers of switch blades on the wall and increase to maximum power.

Each guard post has an area where the switch blades can be controlled.

But at the gate guard post, all directions of guard posts on the wall can be controlled.

Upon opening the three-layer switch blade, zombies climbing to Big Camphor Tree Base from several other directions slow down.

This time, the surging zombie tide is too fierce.

Perhaps because of prolonged immersion in water and enhanced strength during the rainstorm, these zombies demonstrate extremely strong limb mobility!

Running the mobile switch blade at maximum power enhances its force.

In an instant, the mobile switch blades at seven meters height stuck by the zombie tide move sideways like a wild horse.

Crash—

The zombie tide at the front gate, originally stalled at thirteen meters height, collapses.

Zombies under seven meters of height at the wall are tossed away by the switch blades.

The zombie tide is like stacked blocks, pulling away the middle layer.

Zombies above seven meters height fall straight downward.

Zombie tide collapses.

The hearts of everyone which had been hanging in suspense, now land.

Everyone on the wall realizes that this zombie tide is unlike any other.

The collapsed zombie tide kills many zombies beneath the wall.

Immediately, many zombies focus their attention on their dead companions, eating them.

Li Yu recalls an experiment conducted days ago, killing zombies in the distance to attract some to stack further away.

Thus, he takes out a walkie-talkie and calls to everyone on the wall:

”This is Li Yu, all directions take notice, this zombie tide is too fierce. Everyone can use the experimental method we tried at the front gate, killing zombies in the mountain forest tens of meters away to reduce pressure on the switch blades here. Do not hesitate to use bullets and bombs, prioritize protecting the wall defenses!”

Li Yu repeats with the walkie-talkie thrice.

Responses come from other directions.

”Roger.”

”Roger.”

”Roger.”

”Roger.”

Almost at the moment messages are sent, Yang Tianlong raises a rocket launcher from the guard post, aiming at a mountain hollow tens of meters away, firing a bomb.

In the rainstorm, the bomb flies with a red tail light, reaching the mountain hollow where zombies are running.

Boom—

The bomb explodes a large number of zombies, their bodies disintegrating into pieces in the rainstorm.

Li Zhengping also takes a submachine gun, firing in the direction Yang Tianlong just shot.

Bullets pour continuously like flowing water.

Beside him is a wooden box, designated for storing bullet casings.

In Doomsday, bullet heads can still be produced with effort, but bullet casings are so complex and cumbersome to make.

Therefore, all used bullet casings are collected for reuse.

Gun and cannonfire echo loudly within the base during the rainstorm.

Li Yu observes as zombies beneath the wall are attracted by their deceased counterparts in the forest, gradually reducing the zombie tide height from six or seven meters to four or five meters, slowly exhaling relief.

The situation was urgent earlier, prompting him to also shoot zombies in the forest.

But he is also mindful of conserving bullets, so once the situation improves, he switches to the crossbow, shooting zombies in the forest from the wall.

The sky is dark like ink, affecting bullet shooting accuracy.

Li Yu instructs Li Hang and Dapao to take out necessary searchlights, using one to illuminate the distant forest, another to monitor the wall surroundings for high stacking zombie tides.

Under the searchlights, the distant forest becomes clearer.

The distance is only about thirty to forty meters.

Besides electricity, there is abundant quantity of arrows in the base.

Recently, extra staff and cooperative personnel have been producing many arrows.

Under Level Three tactical readiness, one hundred plus Outer City personnel including Luo, Old Bi, Lao Yi, Old Qin, Lao Zhou, He Bing, Ju Tianrui, and Xiao Jun all ascend the wall.

The wall now has nearly three hundred people.

Almost every few meters along the wall, someone stands guard above.

The crossbows are distributed to everyone, working with guns and bombs to fend off the zombies.

The entire wall has sixteen high-beam searchlights, at the gate, except two on the Observation Tower, two outside the guard post, all switched on.
