Demon King: Hero, don’t run away!

Yang Yu reacted quickly, dodging the steel rod and grabbing it as he lunged forward, forcefully throwing it to the ground, smashing a silver metal monkey into the floor.

Salt White Lamiya frowned slightly, ”This is the first time I’ve seen something like this! What we encountered on the second and third floors... is completely different from when I escaped before!”

”Such important information, you should have told us at the very beginning!”

The metal rod emitted a burst of electric light, paralyzing Yang Yu’s body through his hand.

Yang Yu and the others hadn’t shown any hostility by activating their skills, yet the guard robots on the third floor attacked them!

Salt White Lamiya shrank into a corner of the elevator, knowing that the guard robots wouldn’t intentionally destroy the elevator; staying inside was the safest option.

”It’s been years since I last came here, so my memory is a bit hazy.

I only gave you that vague information! But seeing the robots on this floor, I’m sure they’ve definitely changed compared to before!

Before, the third-floor robots were eagles!

My kin died under them to cover my retreat, which I’m well aware of.”

But is hiding in the elevator really safe?

Suddenly feeling a powerful thrust from behind, the elevator wall abruptly protruded, pushing Yang Yu and the others, who hadn’t yet exited the elevator, out onto the third floor.

The metal monkey saw Yang Yu hadn’t let go of the stick, even pushed it forward to repel it, and then it broke the stick itself and charged at Yang Yu.

Mechanical monkeys, each with a steel rod, used the magnetic pads in their hands to attach themselves to the unseen corners of the walls from Yang Yu’s perspective.

With the attacking metal monkey in front of Yang Yu, they all leapt down, swinging their heavy clubs, and smashed violently towards them.

Iyas quickly released [Sacred Ripples], Holy Light rippling with an immensely powerful shockwave, pushing back all the attacking mechanical monkeys several meters.

Monkeys thrown into the air spun lightly, opening their legs to perfectly land on nearby walls or the floor, shaking their strange metal heads as they observed Yang Yu and the others’ every move.

Each metal monkey possessed a unique magnetism, allowing them to wall climb all around like Yang Yu using [Climbing].

Bai Jin released countless Frost Ice Arrows, blasting towards the metal monkeys.

Each metal monkey ”melted” into a mechanical square, dodging into the corners of the walls, nearly perfectly avoiding Bai Jin’s magic, and then twirled their steel rods to attack Yang Yu and the others again without hesitation.

He Meng tossed Water Balls, attempting to freeze the movement of the metal monkeys, but blue protective shields appeared on the metal monkeys, easily deflecting He Meng’s Water Balls.

He Meng took a step back, controlling the water scum on the ground to expand, forming a viscous pool, but the metal monkeys had already seen through He Meng’s actions, using their sticks as poles to easily vault over the water pool.

Anyone could see the security robots on this level were much more troublesome than those on the previous floor.

Though the levels of these metal monkeys were only Level 140, with average attributes below 2000, and their numbers were not many, they had already developed many enhanced characteristics and skills targeting Yang Yu and the others.

”Your Majesty the Queen! These enemies are even more formidable than imagined! I can’t guarantee everything will be safe and sound.”

Salt White Lamiya intended to say something, but Yang Yu’s following words made her swallow all the words back down.

”I still have to ensure Her Majesty the Queen’s safety. If Her Majesty thinks these instruments are more important than her own life and doesn’t need my protection, then it might be possible to protect those instruments.”

Biting her teeth in frustration, Salt White Lamiya tried to maintain the dignity of the Lamia Queen:

”As expected, there were some minor setbacks.

Can’t be helped. This is the highest level of alert, even if something is destroyed, there’s nothing that can be done.

I also can’t force you to give up your life to protect these things with all your heart.

Just do what you can!”

With Salt White Lamiya’s permission, Yang Yu dashed out with Qiuye without any scruples.

Among the group of metal monkeys, specialized security robots appeared to counter Yang Yu and Qiuye, as a few metal monkeys with black light on their faces raised their sticks, releasing area-wide control skills, significantly slowing Yang Yu and Qiuye’s speed.

The bodies of these auxiliary monkeys were quite sturdy, serving as functional tanks; to control Yang Yu and the others, these metal monkeys completely gave up their offensive power.

In places where Yang Yu and Qiuye couldn’t reach, countless metal monkeys transformed into agile moving fortresses, launching fierce attacks on Yang Yu and the others whenever they saw an opportunity.

One after another, sharp Frost Ice Arrows sliced through the air, striking at the metal monkeys clinging to the walls; these metal monkeys seemed to see through Bai Jin’s magic, nimbly maneuvering their agile forms, easily avoiding Bai Jin’s magical attacks.

If Bai Jin doesn’t use some other magic and change her attack method, it will become increasingly difficult for her to hit these metal monkeys.

Although Yang Yu could adjust his attack methods and strategies at any time, for Bai Jin and the others to adjust at any time was more or less difficult.

Perhaps, the artificial intelligence witnessing all this could detect the subtle details of Bai Jin’s magic that even Yang Yu hadn’t noticed.

Dragging things out would only expose more information, allowing the artificial intelligence to devise solutions one by one.

Since that’s the case, then let’s go all out!

”Bai Jin, don’t change your attack mode, just keep it as it is! Coordinate with me!”

After receiving Iyas’s Purification, Yang Yu entrusted the task of attracting the heavy metal monkeys to Qiuye, while he showcased a small portion of his strength, activating [Climbing] to wall climb alongside the metal monkeys.

Those monkeys tried to escape, avoiding direct confrontation with Yang Yu, but he slightly increased his speed, driving his blade into their bodies and forcefully throwing them down onto Bai Jin’s Frost Ice Arrows.

Each level’s enemies had a core, but after Yang Yu and the others defeated the first robot by removing the core, the robots devised different core defense plans against different individuals, making it difficult for the same person to easily extract their cores using the same method.

Even though Yang Yu’s sword blade was lodged into the robot’s core, it no longer blasted the core out like before, causing the robot to disassemble.

Discarding all sorts of strange thoughts, Yang Yu focused on lifting the approaching alert robots before him, sending them into the attack range of the others!

Though the third-floor robots were few, Yang Yu and the others still spent nearly half an hour to take down the mechanical monkeys without damaging the instruments.
