Demon King: Hero, don’t run away!

Returning to the basement, Yang Yu took out a rope to bind the unconscious Jin, then brought him back to the surface.

The top combat forces of the Luo Ze Empire arrived successively, surrounding Yang Yu tightly.

Yang Yu said that he was just following the plan of Chilom and Klaroci, trying to lure out the hidden Enchanting Demon and subdue it.

Then, Yang Yu openly took out the cassette tape recorded by He Meng and played it for everyone present.

Klaroci briefly explained the situation to Emperor Luo Hui, then quickly rushed to Yang Yu’s side, taking over the transformed Enchanting Demon Jin from Yang Yu, and helped Yang Yu defuse the situation:

”Apologies, everyone, for startling you.

As Yang Yu said, all of this was part of our plan.

We have been aware for a long time that there are still many Enchanting Demons lurking in this country.

I know the Enchanting Demons have already regarded Yang Yu as a thorn in their side.

So, we orchestrated today’s events with him. If you want to blame someone, blame it all on me...”

Yang Yu affectionately patted Klaroci’s shoulder, pretending to be extremely exhausted, and said:

”Prince, I did as you said, but who would have thought that Miss Rodriza was also an Enchanting Demon.

What a misstep... she escaped...

Don’t forget the things I requested. I’m a bit tired, so I’ll take my companions back to rest first.”

Placing his hand on his chest, Klaroci bowed slightly to express gratitude,

”Thanks to your willingness to heed our demanding requests, we were able to catch the Enchanting Demon.

Your hard work is much appreciated. As for the remaining matters, I’ll handle them well. Please go back and rest properly.”

”Hmm.....”

Responding with a sound, Yang Yu dragged his body, called out Bai Jin and Iyas, and slowly left the villa.

Next, it was Klaroci’s stage.

Yang Yu originally just wanted to see if he could uncover something deeper, not caring whether the achievement was his or not.

Since he didn’t care, he might as well do a favor for Klaroci.

To be honest, dealing with these nobles is super exhausting.

The upcoming ball is undoubtedly canceled, and the follow-up is just retelling the story, answering questions, dull and boring, better off going back to sleep.

Klaroci naturally didn’t know Yang Yu’s true inner thoughts, he just felt Yang Yu was a truly reliable person, and gratefully watched him leave.

Latis also headed to Klaroci’s location. As she passed by Yang Yu’s side, she stopped and said to Yang Yu:

”It’s really too reckless. Not telling me is one thing, but not telling even Bai Jin and them? They’re at least your companions.”

Yang Yu explained, ”I don’t know if there are any more lurking Enchanting Demons in this country, so the fewer people who know, the better, to avoid being exposed by other Enchanting Demons.

It’s undeniable that this time indeed made the two of them worry.

The rest of the matters, Prince Klaroci can handle well; we don’t need to appear.”

Closing the folded fan, Latis stared at Yang Yu, ”You won’t leave without saying goodbye, will you?”

”I’m not like you.

You can say you’ve experienced Tico’s feelings too.

We still have some things to investigate; you’ll know by tomorrow.”

Yang Yu chuckled as he resumed his steps and left the Prince Mansion, encountering Emperor Luo Hui on the way and respectfully saluting him.

Watching as Yang Yu walked away, Latis opened the folded fan again, sighing alone, ”You really can’t keep someone like him.”

Riding Lotcar, Yang Yu and his team set off to return to Chilom’s residence.

Along the way, He Meng wouldn’t stop chattering, so Yang Yu had to buy her off with a lot of Clovers to heal her wounded soul.

The biggest contributor to completing this plan was indeed He Meng.

Even though it tastes bad, He Meng painstakingly bit by bit digested the radio, understood its structure, then learned the principles from the encyclopedia, and after countless fruitless attempts, finally perfectly replicated the radio’s function.

Actually, she could have just recorded directly with a repeater.

However, the opportunity was rare, and Yang Yu certainly wanted to test how far He Meng could mimic.

If it were any other time, He Meng wouldn’t cooperate at all, but under special circumstances, coercion and temptation had excellent results.

Now that He Meng can already transform into a radio, can turning into a helicopter be far off in the future?

After returning to Chilom’s villa, Yang Yu began distributing new equipment to everyone, including Legendary Equipment obtained from the giant dragon and Epic Equipment acquired through Chilom’s connections.

Yang Yu originally planned to allocate these pieces after his S-Class adventure group was officially announced.

Plans can’t keep up with changes.

Recent events also served as another wake-up call for Yang Yu, that reality is just that unreasonable.

Future enemies will only grow stronger, and who knows when or how they will attack?

So, it’s inevitable to get wet while walking along the river.

He can’t always defeat them now, and there’s a chance they might defeat him.

If he slips up, then he and his companions would be in danger.

What he can do now is to teach what he knows to his companions and reserve the best equipment for them.

Yang Yu personally draped the Legendary long robe [Flow of Darkness] on Bai Jin.

This equipment can increase MP by 10%, reduce magical damage by 20%, and when hit, [Flow of Darkness] gains a charge layer, with a stacking cooldown of 2 seconds, capable of stacking up to 100 layers. The charge can be spent to generate a solid shield, with a shield value of charge value X1000, releasing at 0 layers, gains the effect of one layer charge.

It’s truly a pretty good lifesaving gear.

The equipment’s details also had some notes on the query interface of the giant dragon’s equipment.

[Flow of Darkness] can stack charge layers even in shield status, allowing for a double shield when in crisis situations.

Yang Yu believes Bai Jin is definitely capable of utilizing this equipment well.

Next, Yang Yu gave Lotcar a piece of equipment, a rare transformative weapon.

[The Finger Tiger of the Erud Plan]: In Human Form, it is a Finger Tiger form, with +20% Strength, +15% HP, dealing an additional +200 Physical Attack with attacks; in Beast Form, it’s Arm Armor form, with +10% Strength, +10% Defense, +10% Magic Resistance, +10% HP, gaining the passive [Wild Stance] which restores 0.5% life per second, when life is full, each second adds a bonus of 0.5% max life’s physical attack to the next attack (stackable up to 20 layers).

The last piece of Legendary Equipment obtained from the dragon, Yang Yu kept for himself.

It was a pair of boots, extremely plain in style, called [Incredible Braking Boots].

They have an active called [Forced Braking].

With these boots, even if you jump from 1000 meters high, as long as you use this active to cushion before hitting the ground, you won’t get hurt.

Of course, exceptions are if you land headfirst or on other parts of the body.

If used well, this active can even allow Lightweight Water Floating.

The downside is that it consumes quite a lot of mana, 100 mana per use, comparable to a medium-sized skill.

However, Yang Yu never worries about mana consumption.

Choosing these boots, Yang Yu is also concerned about not being able to brake at critical moments or getting counter-attacked when jumping from high places, creating stiffness. With these boots, Yang Yu need not worry about such things happening.
