The Unveiling of Secret Queen

Chapter 1483: Chapter 1483: Waiting for Nathalie’s Message

Ellen was very considerate: ”Who is that person? Did ’he’ not come yet? Why don’t we wait for him and go together once he arrives?”

Robert glanced at her with surprise, shook his head, and said somewhat helplessly, ”She isn’t coming with us, and she’s not in Beijing either.”

Not from Beijing?

Ellen perceptively caught the crucial information.

She breathed a slight sigh of relief.

Since Robert said the person isn’t from Beijing, then it’s not that certain someone!

That Nathalie Quinlan is quite a mysterious figure.

Afterwards, Ellen heard about what happened at the family gathering that day. Apparently, Nathalie even knew Khendy Lordon.

Khendy is not someone to easily provoke.

Even she wouldn’t dare to take him on lightly.

”I see.” Ellen, feeling relaxed now, thought for a while, her beautiful eyes showing charm, kindly said again, ”Then where is he? I could have someone pick him up.”

”No need.” Robert declined her offer, simply stating, ”She likes to keep to herself and is used to being alone. I asked her earlier if she wanted to join us. She didn’t want to. I’ll wait a bit and see if she has set off. Once she does, we’ll leave.”

Ellen acknowledged with a sound, increasingly perplexed about who this solitary, independent person Robert spoke of might be.

The Pharmaceutical Association has never valued anyone like this before.

From Robert’s tone, adjusting the schedule multiple times seemed related to this person.

Robert was accommodating to this person’s timing to return.

Thinking of this, Ellen grew even more curious about who this person might be.

She was distracted, not noticing the blonde-haired, blue-eyed man’s phone made a ding sound.

It seemed there was a text message.

Robert’s eyes brightened instantly, eagerly looked at the message on his phone.

Q indeed replied to his message.

[I’ve set off.]

The corner of Robert’s mouth rose sharply. He immediately turned to Ellen and the others, ”Let’s go.”

*

Ten hours later.

At a terminal of a certain airport in Orlais, a traveler wearing a Duckbill Cap, carrying a single shoulder bag, looking like a student, walked out of the check-in gate.

She didn’t have a suitcase with her.

After coming out, she bought a cup of hot coffee from the airport’s vending machine, opened the can’s pull-tab, took a sip to warm her hands, and then walked towards the outside.

In September, Beijing is in the midst of summer.

The weather is hot.

Even at night, it’s unbearably sultry.

When Nathalie came out, she was only wearing a thin sweater, with canvas shoes on her feet.

In Beijing, this outfit would be considered thick.

But m-country, close to Oceania, had much colder temperatures than Beijing.

Nathalie noticed she was underdressed as soon as she got off the airplane; it was barely over ten degrees here, the weather was chilly and windy.

However, fortunate due to the time difference, m-country was still in daylight.

Nathalie used her phone to check hotels nearby, picked one randomly, and took a cab directly from the airport to there.

She habitually took her ID card when she went out.

As for documents needed for entry and exit, it was a matter of course for her; she had already hacked into the terminal system at McKinney Airport to modify her information.

Once outside, she was even more adept, skillfully booking hotels and finding locations.

Nathalie’s taxi had just left the airport.

Right after, the flight from Beijing to m-country landed at the airport.

The group with Celine Tucker was large, and it took them considerable time just to collect their luggage.

From the airplane landing to the moment they came out, it took a full hour.

Caryn Zachmann and Celine Tucker had the most luggage.

Next was Ellen Quarles and Evelyn Quarles.
