The Unveiling of Secret Queen

Chapter 1473: Chapter 1473: Nathalie: I’m Going Back to McKinney

The girl had already found her phone from her bag and turned it on. Upon hearing Stephanie Tanzil’s words, she glanced in Stephanie’s direction, then lowered her eyelashes, leisurely nodding: ”Mm.”

”Want to have dinner together tonight?” Stephanie Tanzil smiled invitingly at her, ”I’m calling over George Lucas. We’re going with a group to eat hot pot.”

Nathalie Quinlan’s fondness for hot pot was something she had specifically found out by asking Shawn Norton.

Since she had asked for help filming the MV, she felt it was only right to extend some sort of gesture.

She guessed that offering money wouldn’t really interest Nathalie.

Stephanie Tanzil deliberated and felt that dinner was the most practical option.

Nathalie Quinlan was looking down at her phone, distracted, her eyes slightly squinting, not sure what she saw, but her face suddenly turned serious.

Stephanie Tanzil didn’t have time to react when she saw the girl bend down to pick up her bag, stash the phone in her pocket, and said, seeming anxious: ”I’ll pass for today, I have something to do, maybe next time.”

Stephanie Tanzil felt puzzled but repeatedly agreed, ”Oh, alright, not a problem, I’ll wait for when you’re free.”

”Mm.” Nathalie Quinlan seemed to be in a hurry, and without saying much more, took her things and said directly, ”I have something to do, I’ll leave first.”

”Okay.”

Stephanie Tanzil didn’t manage to arrange dinner with her, her expression somewhat regretful, but she didn’t persist in trying to keep her.

Nathalie Quinlan left in a hurry.

In the blink of an eye, her silhouette disappeared into the skating rink.

After parting ways with Stephanie, Nathalie didn’t go far, she hailed a car by the roadside, turned around, and got in, speaking to the taxi driver in a hoarse voice.

”To the airport.”

”Alright.”

The taxi headed toward the airport.

Nathalie sat in the back seat, eyes half-closed, her expression somewhat anxious, and pulled out her phone again, opening WhatsApp.

Sent a message to Amadeus Yancey.

[QN: I’m heading back to McKinney.]

After the message was sent.

She set her phone to silent and booked the next flight to McKinney.

Inside City Hospital in McKinney.

Owen Yapiter was in the intensive care unit, with most of the Yapiter Family present.

Evron Barness, being the first to stay here, was immediately surrounded by everyone as soon as they arrived.

”Jishen, how is your grandfather’s condition?” Priscillia Yapiter spoke first, urgently, her lips trembling: ”What did the doctor say? Did the doctor tell you why your grandfather’s fever won’t subside?”

”Right.” said the third aunt hurriedly from the side: ”When we left this morning, didn’t Mr. Yapiter’s fever go down? How come he’s having a fever again and got transferred to the intensive care unit. Jishen, since you’re here, exactly what did the doctor say to you. Why is your grandfather’s fever recurring?”

Mrs. Yapiter was more composed than them, seeing her son’s tired face, her heart softened, she stood before the others, unsatisfied, saying: ”Don’t hurry, ask one by one, who should he answer with all of you grilling him at once?”

Mrs. Yapiter is Mr. Yapiter’s favorite daughter, holding a high position in the Yapiter Family.

When she spoke, a few people suppressed their urgency, glanced at each other, letting the third aunt represent them in speaking: ”We’re just wanting to know what the doctor said, how is Mr. Yapiter’s health right now!”

Owen Yapiter is the pillar of the family.

If Owen Yapiter were to fall, the Yapiter Family would also decline.

So, this moment, the whole family was genuinely anxious, fearing mishaps for Mr. Yapiter.
