The Unveiling of Secret Queen

Chapter 1465: Chapter 1465: Ms. Quinlan Left Early

”As for whether the dean is willing to help, I can’t make the decision.”

”Dad, you know, I barely got into the Pharmaceutical Association, and as a rookie, my words might not carry much weight.”

Leonardy Zachmann only wanted a promise from her, he wasn’t forcing her to do anything.

He nodded immediately.

Didn’t say anything more.

He silently patted Caryn Zachmann on the shoulder, then turned back to Celine Tucker and said, ”I’m heading to the company first.”

Celine Tucker’s face didn’t look too good when she heard he asked Caryn to seek medicine for Mr. Zachmann, but out of consideration for Leonardy’s face, she didn’t make it too obvious.

She forced a smile, sending him out the door.

Once Leonardy left, she immediately went back to help Caryn pack for her departure to the Pharmaceutical Association the day after tomorrow...

Meanwhile.

Rhine Apartment.

Khendy Lordon’s flight was at nine o’clock, Nathalie Quinlan didn’t wake up until eight thirty.

After waking up, she leisurely brushed her teeth and washed her face, then changed clothes, found a brand new black duckbill cap and put it on her head.

After doing all this.

She was satisfied, picked up her bag, threw her phone and tablet into it, and zipped it up.

Then she went downstairs from the second floor.

In the living room, Alfred Garland had already prepared breakfast.

Seeing Nathalie come down, he happily greeted the girl: ”Good morning, Ms. Quinlan.”

”Morning.”

Nathalie slowly descended the stairs and greeted him too. Seeing the array of breakfast on the table, she pursed her lips and said to Alfred.

”I have something in the morning, so I won’t be having breakfast.”

Alfred, holding a spatula, was making fried eggs. Hearing she wouldn’t eat breakfast at home, he paused, realizing, forgetting to put back the spatula, he followed out and said, ”Ms. Quinlan, you’re not eating breakfast at home?”

Nathalie was already changing shoes in the hallway, calmly putting on canvas shoes, the black canvas shoes made her legs look even longer and more striking.

She tied her shoelaces, straightened, picked up her bag, turned to answer Alfred’s question: ”Mm. I have a friend who’s leaving, I promised to see him off, I’m a bit pressed for time, so I won’t have breakfast, I’ll just grab a bread outside.”

Alfred felt quite disappointed.

But hearing she was off to see a friend, he didn’t dwell on it, putting down the spatula immediately, untying the apron strap around him, he said: ”Ms. Quinlan, wait a second, I’ll take you to the airport.”

Nathalie, knowing Khendy wasn’t leaving from the airport, declined Alfred’s kindness: ”No need, I’ll take a cab myself.”

She pulled down the brim of her cap, took out earphones from her pocket and put them in, waved coolly at Alfred, opened the door, and left.

Nathalie had been out for half an hour.

Amadeus Yancey’s bedroom door finally opened, the man seemed to have been up all night, just emerging from inside, his hair on his forehead falling in broken strands covering his brow, with only a pair of eyes filled with heavy bloodshot veins visible, showing he stayed up late again last night.

”Amadeus.” Alfred had already prepared a simple breakfast, set on the dining table.

Amadeus grunted a response, walked to the table, pulled out a chair and sat down.

Seeing only his own set of cutlery on the long rectangular dining table, he paused while lifting the glass of ice water, placed it back on the table, and turned to ask the busy figure.

”Where’s Nathalie? Hasn’t she gotten up yet?”

Alfred, who was tidying up the magazines carelessly thrown on the sofa, heard his master asking about Ms. Quinlan and responded promptly, ”Ah, Ms. Quinlan? She got up a long time ago, she already left.”
