The Unveiling of Secret Queen

Chapter 246: Chapter 246: We Booked the Largest Private Room_1

The reporters’ lenses followed almost exclusively behind her, Ghania Quinlan’s hands were nearly raw from clenching.

She drew several deep breaths, but the burning sensation in her chest wouldn’t subside.

Nathalie!

It was Cindy Lawrence, seasoned by more meals, who first regained her composure. With a darkened face, she said to Jeff Quinlan and the others, ”It’s almost noon, let’s go, we should head in too.”

”We reserved the biggest private room at Waterfront Pavilion today.”

She particularly emphasized the word ”biggest.”

It was as if she was trying to compete with Nathalie on this very point.

No matter how impressive that white-eyed wolf was, she could only dine in the main hall of Waterfront Pavilion, whereas they were different, this time they had pulled strings to book the best spot at Waterfront Pavilion!

With a feeling of suffocation in her heart, Cindy Lawrence entered the Waterfront Pavilion.

The Waterfront Pavilion was just as it had always been, designed like a classical garden, refreshing and majestic, a clear stream in a city filled with steel and cement skyscrapers.

Nathalie and the others entered at the same time.

”Welcome to Waterfront Pavilion.” The waiters here all wore clothes resembling Tang costumes, which looked classy and graceful. They always wore a reserved yet appropriate smile on their faces, which didn’t appear too aloof or too ingratiating.

”Um, are you all...” she hadn’t finished asking if they were together.

Cindy Lawrence cut in promptly, ”Hello, we are the Quinlan Family with a reservation, Ghania Quinlan.”

”Oh, right.” The waiter showed a sudden realization and immediately said, ”Okay, we’ll lead you to your private room straight away.”

Cindy Lawrence’s face finally looked slightly better.

The rest of the Quinlan Family’s faces also relaxed a bit, not as pale and embarrassed as before.

Nathalie glimpsed their expressions and curled her lips in amusement, very lightly, with a hint of wildness.

At that moment, the waiter in charge of reception also noticed them, and while instructing others to show Cindy Lawrence and her group the way, she casually asked Nathalie.

”Hello, have you reserved a place?”

Stanley Zachmann was about to say they had reserved.

The girl with a hint of rogue in her lifted her eyebrows, her clear, bright eyes showing a bit of untamed wildness, and her voice, cool and refreshing, spoke before him: ”Nathalie Quinlan.”

The waiter was flipping through a small notepad in hand; upon hearing this, she immediately raised her head and showed a surprised expression: ”Are you Ms. Quinlan?”

Their manager had specifically reminded her a few days ago that an important guest was coming today and told them to take good care of this distinguished guest and by no means neglect the guest.

She put aside what she was busy with, composed herself, and immediately said to Nathalie’s group, ”Ms. Quinlan, your biggest private room is ready, please follow me!”

The biggest private room!

Those five words struck Cindy Lawrence’s face like a slap in the face.

Cindy Lawrence felt a buzzing in her ears, taking a long time to recover, as if her throat was clogged with cotton.

She even struggled to find her own voice.

”If they have the biggest private room, then what do we have?”

What kind of international joke was this!

When they were booking, didn’t the people at Waterfront Pavilion say that they had reserved the biggest private room?!

”Oh, that.” The waiter leading them explained, ”Our Waterfront Pavilion has a private room that is not available to the public, it is our biggest and best located private room.”

”...”

They had been telling everyone today that they had booked the biggest private room here, so there were other private rooms that were even larger than the one they booked! Cindy Lawrence’s chest heaved violently; she almost fainted!
