He wished he could hand her a faster ’knife,’ so she could fiercely deal with those Quinlan Family people!

The Quinlan Family’s plans to throw a grand birthday party for Ghania Quinlan had spread throughout the entire McKinney.

It was said that the prestigious Tucker Family from McKinney would also attend.

With this news, the rank of Ghania Quinlan’s Birthday Banquet shot up, and many who were initially waiting to see the Pinecone Group’s attitude promptly agreed to attend after receiving the invitation letters from Jeff Quinlan and his people.

For a while, the Quinlan Family’s reputation was at its peak, and Ghania’s value skyrocketed, making her stand out among the socialites of McKinney.

Not to mention at school.

Apart from the group of people in Class A who had a feud with Class B, students of other grades and classes practically deemed Ghania a goddess.

The previously popular online post calling for a reelection of the school beauty silently sank to the bottom of the sea.

Posts all over No. 1 Middle School’s forum were about Ghania winning awards, and her birthday party’s leaked news.

Things like ’Ghania Quinlan is truly a shining star of No. 1 Middle School, representing us to win the highest national piano award.’

And ’Ghania Quinlan is the undisputed school beauty of No. 1 Middle School, beautiful inside and out, with talent to boot. Where can those raised on hype and looks compare to her?’

Someone even went more over the top.

Saying they hope the school considers choosing Ghania as the spokesperson for the next student recruitment drive, to be featured on the school’s website.

Jhovany Sullivan was so angry these past few days she was nearly bursting.

Every day in class she complained how Ghania Quinlan had been showing off again, or where she had been putting on airs, her demeanor so incensed she seemed on the verge of storming into Class B to tear apart some people’s pretenses.

”Class B is saying again that Ghania Quinlan not making it into our Class A is a loss for us. They talk about how she gets good grades and wins awards. I can’t understand the criteria our class uses to pick students.”

With an eye roll, she scoffed, ”Ha, they’ve never looked at the honor roll. Our class’s criteria are the top fifty in the rankings. Ghania Quinlan has always been ranked beyond fiftieth in every exam, yet she has the audacity to act like an unappreciated gem. Acting all smug.”

Freddy Cagwin was doing his homework and glanced at Nathalie Quinlan playing with her phone in her seat. He suddenly chimed in, ”Tch, she couldn’t even rank beyond fiftieth before! It’s only because someone tutored her that her grades improved. Otherwise, with her academic abilities, she wouldn’t even be able to stay in Class B.”

This was what his mom had told him. She said that although Ghania was smart, she never applied her intelligence to her studies. She definitely didn’t have the innate talent for studying that Nathalie Quinlan had.

It was just that Nathalie Quinlan never took exams seriously.

The first place Nathalie snagged last time proved that what his mom said was true. So his mom saying that Ghania Quinlan always pestered Nathalie to help her with exam prep before tests must also be true.

Hearing this, Jhovany Sullivan said dismissively, ”So her family hired a private tutor for her, and only then she was able to get into Class B. She still has the nerve to say No. 1 Middle School is squandering her talents. How shameless.”

Freddy Cagwin didn’t like Ghania, and it was partly because of his mom. Hearing this, he snorted and leaned back in his chair, stretching out, ”She hasn’t had any shame for a day or two. You’ll get used to it.”

”Huh, what do you mean? Freddy Cagwin, do you know Ghania Quinlan?” Jhovany Sullivan asked curiously, ”The way you talk sounds like you’re pretty familiar with her.”

Apart from Nathalie Quinlan, no one in Class A knew that Freddy Cagwin’s mom used to be a housekeeper for the Quinlan Family.
