In the room, Diao Chan and Cai Wenji are lying down on the bed that was prepared especially for them, accompanied by Ying Yue who is holding Yaoyao while Chenchen is being held by Wannian beside her, they are talking harmoniously and this is the scene that Lie Fan saw when he entered the room.

When the door opened, everyone in the room immediately turned their head and when they saw that it was Lie Fan, they were surprised at first then Ying Yue was the first one to approach Lie Fan holding Yaoyao.

Diao Chan and Cai Wenji also wanted to approach Lie Fan, their hormones during pregnancy make them crave more affection from Lie Fan, and Lie Fan who saw this immediately told them to stay down.

Taking Yaoyao from Ying Yue’s hand and kissing her on the forehead, Lie Fan then approached both Diao Chan and Cai Wenji who lay down on their bed.

Lie Fan: ”Chan’er and Ji’er how do you feel? I came as fast as I could.”

Diao Chan: ”A bit painful but I can take it, husband, can you please give me a hug? I really miss you when you’re away.”

Cai Wenji: ”Me too husband, I want a hug from you, I also miss you so much.”

Lie Fan: ”Okay come here you two, I’m sorry that I have to leave the two of you here. Ying Yue, I also apologize for leaving You, Chenchen, and Yaoyao.”

Ying Yue: ”It’s okay husband, we understand that you have something bigger than all of us to achieve, don’t worry we will always support you and wait for you here becoming your safe harbour.”

Diao Chan: ”That’s right Husband, we all understand the things that come with marrying such a great man who is destined for great things.”

Cai Wenji: ”That’s right Husband, we wi- Agghh!!”

Cai Wenji who also wanted to tell her understanding and affection, suddenly let out a cry of pain, and sweat began to pour down from her head, Lie Fan who saw this began to panic and wanted to approach her but was afraid of doing something wrong.

Fortunately, Hua Tuo and Zhang Zhongjing entered the room, alongside the nurses and midwives that they brought alongside them, more prepared than when Ying Yue was pregnant and gave birth.

Hua Tuo, the nurses, and the midwives under him immediately encircled Cai Wenji, Hua Tuo after checking Cai Wenji confirmed that she had entered the contraction period, then closed a makeshift curtain that was made in preparation beforehand.

Diao Chan who saw this and heard this began to panic because even though she had heard from others, and experienced Ying Yue’s pregnancy and labor, it was a different experience than the one she had experienced.

Lie Fan who saw this suggested to Zhang Zhongjing that Diao Chan go to a separate room, and Zhang Zhongjing who heard this contemplated for a short time and then agreed, but under the condition that it was a sterilized room.

Lie Fan who heard this immediately pointed to the last room that was used by Ying Yue, even though it was a makeshift room at first, Lie Fan ordered for it to be cleaned and sterilized all the time.

Zhang Zhongjing agreed with that room, and from there Diao Chan was brought to the room being helped by the nurses and midwives, Lie Fan then waited outside the treatment room alongside Ying Yue, Wannian, Chechen, and Yaoyao.

Even though Lie Fan had experienced Ying Yue’s labor before, this is a different matter because it was two labor ongoing at the same time, maybe it was normal at a modern hospital, but Lie Fan had never experienced something like that, especially where the two of them are his wives.

Lie Fan kept walking back and forth, and the speed intensified when he heard that Diao Chan had entered the contraction period, Ying Yue who saw this told Lie Fan that everything would be alright.

Wannian who has become more mature also helped Ying Yue in calming down and reassuring Lie Fan, using Yaoyao in her hand and giving a cute sound which immediately attracted Lie Fan’s attention.

Ying Yue who sees this also shows Chenchen to Lie Fan, supporting Wannian action where Lie Fan calms down playing with both Yaoyao and Chenchen.

Several hours passed by, and Lie Fan heard a crying sound coming from inside the treatment room, his focus immediately shifted toward the treatment room, giving Yaoyao and Chenchen in his hand back to Ying Yue and Wannian.

Lie Fan hurriedly approached the room, where the door was opened and a midwife came outside, informing Lie Fan that it was a girl.

Fearing that Lie Fan will be disappointed the midwife looked down, not seeing that Lie Fan gives a big smile and then let out a hearty laugh.

For Lie Fan, this is a piece of great news because even though having more boys is a good thing for the stability of his rule and force, Lie Fan hopes that he has more daughters than sons reducing the chance of a succession war in the future.

Of course, we never knew if Diao Chan gave birth to a boy, Lie Fan would treat all of them the same but he would give his daughters more preference than his sons.

Lie Fan then was allowed to enter the room, meeting with Cai Wenji and his newborn daughter, while wiping Cai Wenji’s sweat, thanking her for doing such a dangerous thing for her, and kissing her on the forehead, he received news that Diao Chan has successfully given birth to another daughter for him.

Lie Fan was taken aback, never expecting that he would receive another daughter. Lie Fan after saying sweet nothings to Cai Wenji and kissing his daughter I the forehead, goes toward the room where Diao Chan was brought there before.

Entering the room, he saw that Diao Chan was also in the same condition as Cai Wenji, while a baby girls were put beside her. Lie Fan approached them and gave a kiss on their forehead, also saying his gratitude toward Diao Chan.

The birth of Two Phoenixes for Lie Fan soon spread across Xiapi, many congratulations were given to Lie Fan from all sides of Xiapi, especially the common people who felt the happiest that Lie Fan had two more daughters.

While happy news and celebration will be held in Xiapi, north of Xiapi at the border between Dongpingling and Beihai County, the battle between Cao Cao & Liu Bei against Lu Bu has finally begun.

This battle in the future will be known as the Battle of Taishan, which was the prelude to a few years of war between the three of them.

It was called that because it was near Taishan Mountain, the first contact between the two armies was spectacular to see, Lu Bu’s army was on the upper hand due to their encampment and fortification built.

Chen Gong shows his tactical brilliance in this battle, knowing the importance of preparation more after his defeat at the hands of Cao Cao before, so he built his encampment and fortifications much longer than in his previous battle against Cao Cao.

Guo Jia, Xi Zhicai, and Ju Shou show admiration toward Chen Gong for the preparation he has made, Cao Cao also shows his admiration for his old friend, lamenting his decision to leave his service to him.

Lu Bu’s army also had the upper hand due to the presence of Lu Bu and Zhang Liao, Zhang Liao’s brilliance was shown in this battle where his prowess was said by Cao Cao’s soldiers was second to Lu Bu.

Zhang Liao holding his large battle axe shows his dominance on the field, leading a small unit managing to break through the ranks of Cao Cao and Liu Bei’s soldiers, before being stopped by Guan Yu where these two men finally have contact in combat for the first time.

Guan Yu’s fame wasn’t that high considering how the stage in Hulao Gate was usurped by Lie Fan, Huang Zhong, and Dian Wei. Zhang Liao at first thought Guan Yu was another weak opponent but soon he was taken aback by what he received from Guan Yu.

Guan Yu using his long green glaive, attacked Zhang Liao using all of his might where Zhang Liao then pushed back after blocking the attack, it was at this battle that both Guan Yu and Zhang Liao’s fame grew.

Cao Cao who was in the rear watching the battle alongside Liu Bei, saw the confrontation between Guan Yu and Zhang Liao and he was attracted to these two talented people.

He lamented that his chance of getting Guan Yu was very low, considering that Guan Yu had become sworn brothers with Liu Bei and Zhang Fei, as for Zhang Liao he had a chance if he managed to defeat Lu Bu.

The first contact battle between the two armies ended in a draw, In late afternoon the battle was soon stopped by both sides, adhering to the rule that they can’t have a battle at night, except for a surprise raid.

This rule has long prevailed from the spring game autumn period, then to the Warring States period, then to the period of struggle between Xiang Yu and Liu Bang where the latter won the battle and established the present Han Dynasty.

At night, Lu Bu was having a meeting with his council to discuss their next step in this battle, everyone including Lu Bu knew that sooner or later they would be defeated if this became a battle of attrition.

Chen Gong: ”My Lord we are in a predicament situation, both Cao Cao and Liu Bei have much more supplies and soldiers than us, even though we have the supplies that Liu Bei has prepared beforehand, it can only last us at least a month.”

Lu Bu: ”Hmm do any of you have a plan that you wanted to suggest? Our plan to burn their supplies in the previous night raid ended in failure, and if we do that again this might it will only backfire on us.”

Gao Shun: ”My Lord I have a suggestion, what if using the cover of the night we prepared traps in the middle of the field, does Master Chen Gong think this is feasible?”

Chen Gong: ”Hmm this could be a feasible plan if Cao Cao and Liu Bei’s army alertness wasn’t as high as the previous night, also our men need to be extra sneaky and silent for this to work.”

Zhang Liao: ”My Lord and Master Chen Gong I volunteer myself for this plan, I agree with Gao Shun’s suggestion and I have found some weak points in their formation, so I could place the traps in the location that I think is their weak point.”

Lu Bu turned his head toward Chen Gong, asking him if he should agree to the plan that was proposed by Gao Shun and supported by Zhang Liao, Chen Gong thinking that he hadn’t thought of any plan nodded his head in agreement, Lu Bu who saw this immediately give his order for Zhang Liao to pick the best men to do this task, Zhang Liao cupped his hand receiving the order.
